I brought a John Lewis voucher for £125.00 as a wedding gift for a colleague following a collection. The voucher came but no separate email with PIN No. I didn't realise it was needed. Understandably my colleague did not seek to spend for some time and so problem with PIN no. did not come to light for a long time. Giftvouchers.co.uk have not helped at all. JohnLewis have confirmed voucher has not been spent but GV.co.uk simply using company procedures / rules to do nothing. I presume they have pocketed the £125.00. Will never use this format again.

Digital voucher did not arrive until I’d sent several emails complaining and chasing. Finally came through over 48 hours after my payment was made. Customer services just keep saying “it’s been successfully sent”. Very poor, will never use again.

I really don't understand the negative reviews for this company. I ordered a physical gift card 2 days ago, received an email early thuis morning to say it was with Royal Mail and it arrived at lunchtime. Packaged really nicely and securely. Great service I would definitely use this company again.

voucher never arrived . Emailed and response time was two days at which point the voucher was useless to the recipient. They would not refund me . I will never use this company again and recommend no
one else ever bothers wasting their money and time with them, i've never been so disappointed.

Like another reviewer I bought a John Lewis gift card as a Christmas present for someone. When they tried to use it they found that it had no money on it. Unlike the other reviewer I have had no response from Gift Vouchers and got the same message when I called their customer services, namely that they are not taking calls. This feels like a scam - John Lewis should stop allowing them to sell vouchers and certainly I would not buy anything from them and would urge everyone to avoid them as well.

I just ordered a miller carter voucher - I didn’t really realise it wasn’t miller carter direct website. Ordered a digital voucher and it came within a few minutes. But the email doesn’t give you the voucher card details to use at the restaurant it’s faulty?? Not yet spoken to Customer service as closed on weekends but very suspicious to receive a non functional gift voucher!

AVOID these scammers - they advise a customer services phone number.... call it.... auto answer tells you they are not taking calls at this moment due to busy periods.

Email them, each reply just states a 24 hour response (their 24 hour must be different to the norm).

How do these companies be allowed to operate is a joke.

Do not use this company. I purchased a John Lewis gift card to the value of £125.00 for my brothers Christmas present on 24th November. My brother went to use the card on 27th December and found the card was empty. I immediately contacted the company. It has taken until 7th January for the issue to be resolved, a new card is being sent but not yet received. I asked for compensation, and was told I would receive a £15 voucher which could be used against a hotel booking as long as the booking was to the value of £85.00 or more. So I basically have to spend another £70.00 to receive £15.00 compensation.
You can never speak to anyone directly, yes they do provide a phone number , but you ring and get message to say they are to busy to take calls. All communication is by email.
Disgusting service, very uncaring and unprofessional.
I will be looking to take my complaint further through media. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Took my money but never received the e voucher. They then said they sent another which never arrived. They said its my email address stopping me from receiving the voucher and to provide them with a Gmail, Hotmail or icloud email address. Contacted my bank to get my money back. Avoid avoid avoid

Avoid this. I tried to buy a voucher from them. Twice, my payment details got denied, so I went to buy the voucher straight from John Lewis. Then I found they'd actually charged me despite the error message, and the friend who I'd bought the gift voucher from never received anything. I also never received an email confirming the gift voucher.

Got the Uber voucher from giftsvouchers but Uber did not accept the voucher. Contacted customer service and they refused to refund me.giftsvouchers.co.uk are a scam...will obviously never use again....and hopefully stops anyone else from getting scammed.

My mum incorrectly ordered this instead of a store voucher. But it was delivered super quick and in a lovely presentation wallet. Very pleased. Now just got to work out where/how to spend it.

Purchased a John Lewis voucher and received it the next day. I ordered in quite a panic and when I saw the reviews afterwards I was so worried I had been scammed but I emailed the company to ask for a delivery tracking number etc. and although they could not provide this, Jessica was so helpful and reassuring in telling me I would be eligible for a full refund if it was to take longer than the 5 working-day window or if it was not to show up. I then arrived home from work today, to the voucher which means it arrived within less than 36 hours of ordering and it looks great with a lovely card to put it in. Will definitely use again😊

Never received vouchers. Wish I’d read reviews beforehand - which I usually do but didn’t on this occasion. Do not use.

Purchased a John Lewis voucher, which never turned up. I have sent numerous emails about this and still haven't received a refund. Fraudsters.

My wife entered an incorrect email address when purchasing a voucher but Janice in Customer Service was brilliant and prompt - she sorted everything out with pace and great customer care. Excellent experience

My 90 year mother was given a 60.00 voucher through this company which I redeemed 3 days ago and still haven't received the voucher. They tried 2 email addresses and couldnt send and yet i redeemed a lifestyle gift voucher and got the e voucher minutes later. Now they don't respond I would avoid them at all costs. I think they hope you just give up, I wonder how many people have.

Contrary to other reviews I had no problem what so ever with the voucher.
Bought it for a gift, it was used online that same day.
It was for John Lewis.

This site is a scam. Never received code even though they said it had been sent twice. Wish I’d read reviews beforehand - which I usually do but didn’t on this occasion as it was last minute. Do not use. Go straight to the retailer for vouchers.
