Best ever massage and also an incredible Gua Shua facial treatment
I highly recommend the 5 Element Massage offered at Ginger Chi. I prefer heavy pressure for my massages and Michael certainly did not disappoint! He was amazing, had a great technique working through tough tension spots which was exactly what my tired body needed. I also had the Gua Shua Facial treatment provided by the equally amazing Rose- so knowledgeable in her craft. This was an extremely relaxing experience with a professional and courteous staff who were most welcoming. The owner herself is a gem -this is truly a business that cares! I have been using Ginger Chi natural oils and teas for many years - prompt delivery of products always! An in person experience was needed now that pandemic has eased so my friend and I made a special visit from DC to NYC to the amazing Ginger Chi Therapy Room recently. We will be doing so very soon again!

I am new to dry brushing, and I am also pregnant. My skin is already going through a lot right now, so when I heard that they had a soft and coarse brush option, I was intrigued. The soft brush I purchased feels so good against my skin. It is not scratchy or irritating. Of course, I do not do it every day because I do not want to dry out my growing body. It feels like a treat when I dry brush. The length is good, I just have to get used to it. I love that it came with a travel bag also.

Excellent oil. I am a long time customer, and found the Tansy oil to not disappoint. It immediately felt light and refreshing to my tired skin. Smells really nice, too. A definite rebuy. 👍🏼

The rice bran exfoliant is my favorite I’ve ever used. I have very sensitive combination skin and this stuff is the BEST. Doesn’t dry me out, sloughs off the dead skin. Lovely.

I am new to dry brush massage and have sensitive skin. I was delighted to find GingerChi's jute brush because I had heard that jute is softer than sisal. The description on the website confirmed what I was hoping. From my research, I would say that the dry brushes out there are predominantly sisal. That's why I am so grateful for this brush. Now that I have used it for several days, I am pleased to share that it is perfect for newbies and sensitive skin. I can see how after some time you might want to get a sisal brush. I think having both might be the perfect combo. It seems solidly made and it comes with a very extensive guide for how to use the brush properly. I would love it if GingerChi would make a jute one for travel with a hand strap instead of a handle for space saving purposes. Thank you for the good Chi!

I loved all the products I got from the spa. The pulling oil is hands down the best! I rinse for 20min and brush my teeth after. My mouth and gums feel very clean and odorless. The juniper oil is so so moisturizing I love the silliness and purity of it. I look forward to visiting the shop in person and booking a facial! I love supporting small business!
