This place is the pits

This place is the pits. 1.5 hours to get through customs yesterday afternoon due to thier wholy inadequate system of 5 customs kiosks with only 3 working. No communication by anyone and elderly people standing for this amount of time without any toilet or drinks facilities. Its completely unacceptable and disrespectful to people who have paid alot of money for a holiday. Time to stop penalising normal decent people that are born and bred in this country and put resources into stopping unwanted migration. Absolutely disgusting

I experienced racial profiling when I traveled through from Schiphol to Glasgow airport. I was directed to a queue by one of the airport staff and when it was my turn to step up,the immigration officer told me that I should wait next time till he calls me and he continued to say it seems I have not traveled a lot to know these things.I reality I might have traveled quite a bit than him despite his color of skin.Stop embarrassing brown skinned people in airports its just ridiculous!

when we first arrived at G/A glasgow…

when we first arrived at G/A glasgow airport. on the 1/06/26. we were booked in to valet parking geting there was quite easy no problems when I parked my car for the very first time here the guys in the office could not have been more helpfull or friendly. they even said that due to being disable they would make sure that my car would be close to the office which was great as I do have difficulty walking .when we arrived back on the 15/06/26 and we whent to the office got our keys for my car what a diffrent reception we got I asked were my car was parked expecting it to just out side the office the guy in the office just pointed and said up there i said were up there he said once again up there. so we set of looking for my car aventurely we found it about 150 yards away from the office entrance. and just to rub salt in the wound my car was left unlocked. ther was a few other small problems but by this time I just wanted to get home. you were realy made to feel very unwelcome on return. first impressions realy count with me so I will not ever use valet parking at glasgow airport again.

Valet parking and passport queues are a joke

Valet parking is a joke. On arrival the barrier did not lift as expected using the ANPR system , pressed the Help button several times - no reply. When someone eventually answered they would not lift the barrier until I produced my booking number , reg plate not sufficient !
Digging through paperwork at 4am in heavy rain . 15 minute delay.
Similar experience on exit , barrier would not lift automatically , excuse that call centre was busy. Nonsense. Try getting the ANPR to work as it should.

42 minutes to get through the passport control egates while half a dozen border control officers sit around doing not a lot. Not for the first time either. Took 30 seconds to passthrough the EES system at a similar sized Spanish airport which had around 20 gates vs only 4 at Glasgow. Shambolic and embarrassing. Welcome to Scotland.

Simply not good enough Glasgow Airport . Try putting the customer first for a change.

It’s just horrible

It’s just horrible flying in from Schiphol to the tiny airport and they put everyone on a bus so don’t bother paying for a seat at the front of the plane because they herd everybody onto a couple of buses move them a few yards people squeeze you in like cattle. Afterwards you can wait in the imitation queues for a good hour until you get crazy. An old antiquated airport that sort of epitomises Scotland in general. I hate coming here and if it wasn’t for my work I would never come to Glasgow Airport

Glasgow Valet Parking is NOT this and is DIY parking …

Booked Valet parking at Glasgow airport in June 2026 for Holiday to Kos, Greece.... Valet parking it is NOT.. on arrival at Glasgow airport I parked my car in numbered lane parking bay and went into the Valet reception... it is all DIY you use a machine to book in and add lane you are parked in..machine prints a label and QR code. You then peel and attach label to another piece of card and use a cable tie to attach to your car keys which you then post in a night safe style box. You then have to walk a fair distance to terminal with your cases, some of this is uncovered so if raining you will get wet... in return from your holiday you reacted Valet reception centre , scan QR code and this directs you to a number box where your car keys now are waiting. You then go outside expecting your car to be waiting in numbered bay area where you left it..but no you then have to find your car which is now parked nearby where you left it... parked in a way you can't get your cases in the car because cars are parked at the side and rear or your car so you have to move car out so as to open boot and out cases inside..if wet weather you would get soaked...then trying to get out is nightmare.. got through initial barrier but poor signage meant took wrong turn and ended up driving around Glasgow airport looking for way out..came to another barrier which wouldn't open so had to pay £7 just to get out... nightmare and if that is Valet parking then ....... do NOT use this as it is DIY parking and nothing less..

Worst experience since llegally coming to the UK

I arrived to Glasgow airport, first thing that went wrong? EVERYTHING. I lost my baggage, I was told I was at the wrong terminal about 4 times and worst of all? Apparently my ticket was invalid.
MOST CONFUSING AND DREADFUL EXPERIENCE AT AN AIRPORT do not go here don't be tempted by the cheap flights they steal your luggage and sell it off no wonder its so cheap

went on holiday today from glasgow airport its going down hill big time the toilets are very dirty and the airport in general is very dirty going down hill from last year get your airport clean chaps ie palma airport would put you to shame

Better than others.

In the last 3 weeks I have been to 5 different airports. I honestly think Glasgow Airport is head and shoulders above the rest. I am not saying the others were bad but I have always been impressed with the staff and efficiency at Glasgow Airport.

Dismal transport links with no rail…

Dismal transport links with no rail link, no shuttle from the nearest station in Paisley, 'express bus' to the city which drops you a long unsigned walk to the main railway station and very poor timetable later in the evening. Frankly it's an embarrassment of an airport. By the way, expect a very long queue for the taxis.

5 E gates for everyone to go through

5 E gates for everyone to go through, got to be the worse airport anywhere in the UK & Europe. It should not take 30min to get through the passport control for 1 flight at midnight. Also arriving at midnight get to gate 11 to he told you need to go on a bus to another part depart of the terminal. Sh!Tahoe of an airport.

WHSmiths

WHSmiths - Jamie, was extremely helpful today. Not only did he help me to find the item I wanted, he also went into the back to check the stock there too… nothing was too much trouble for him. Absolute credit to WHSmiths in the Airport… sadly, this is about the only positive I have for this airport.
