Global Book Publishers Avis

DISHONEST/ MISLEADING/ EVEN A SCAM BUSINESS.
-no CEO/owners listed or given anywhere
-physical addresses in both Dallas, TX and Los Angeles, CA are CONFIRMED FAKE. They have never been there, and are NOT there. I personally spoke with neighboring businesses AND Property Managers. Global is not, and has never been, there!
1001 Wilshire Blvd is only a mailing service.
10031 Monroe Dr, #303, in Dallas, TX has never heard of them.
And I was emailed BY Global that the Dallas location is their "Head Office" & to go in person to see they are legit. They didn't think I actually would since I'm in another state. Surprise. I have photos.
-cell numbers can't be verified as legit for a business
-my own bank warned me they were "suspicious" and "looks like a scam."
-stole at least author's work and put on their own websites (plural!) as ones *they* published, if not even wrote as a ghostwriter (implied). Author has never heard of them, or ever used them.
-multiple sites; 2 are clones!
-BEWARE of similar sites (2 are clones of each other):
globalbookpublishers.com/ oceanbookpublishing.com (clone)/ globalbookspublisher.com/ timesquarepublishers.com (clone)/ globalbookpublishing.com/ globalbookpublishers.org.
(FYI, scammers tend to change a single letter or punctuation to make new sites or business names.) If you're not sure if they're legit, move on.
- all websites are 2024, except 2 (2022, 2023)
-Global says they're "legitimate, established for over 9 years," but their websites are 2024, and their bank account for wire transfers is less than 1 month old (I called to verify.)
-when I emailed them these issues, and more, to equal 13 major concerns/ issues, they literally replied with this: "Let's set aside everything that's happened up to this point and focus on moving forward." Dated Nov. 14, 2024. They refuse to answer a single one.
-multiple business names to know include: Global Book Publishers, Design Logic Shop, Design N Writing Venturz INC
-reports are filed with the FTC, and AG
-bank and credit card company are notified and investigating
-Have spoken on phone with a few authors they *did* publish and got these complaints (of which I'm experiencing myself for past 2 months): lag time, pushy, try to upsell you on marketing packages, still have typos, had to hire their own proofreaders anyway, have to guide them, don't trust, you get what you pay for, and will never use them again. I concur.
-told "no more than 5 weeks from getting manuscript to publishing." It's going on 11 weeks and still not done. They have their reasons why, of course.
- Look for a reputable business, do deep research, call other authors, their banks, addresses/ neighboring businesses to verify as legit! It's very hard to know for sure anymore, so I hope this will help someone who is trying to do their own due diligence! I thought I did my own before; sometimes you just don't know until things begin popping up! Keep everything in writing for documentation!

I wish I could give this company negative stars. Authors, be warned: They are pure scammers. I recently had someone write to me (who was about to wire them a large amount of money for a marketing package) asking if they were legit since my books are featured there. It was the first time I had ever heard of Global Book Publishing; they had the audacity to post a cover of one of my boxed sets on their page under “Books We Have Published.” FYI, I write under the name Kat Ross. Nope, I have nothing to do with them, and just threatened legal action if they don’t remove it. Even worse, it makes it look like this scam company ghost-wrote my trilogy! I suspect all the positive “reviews” here are fake. Seriously, stay far away from these people.

This is a fraud page...

Though time and Writing ability held me back, I always intended to create a biography of my grandfather. Global Book Publishers brought about it. Their ghostwriter did a great job brilliantly presenting his life tale. Thus, I appreciated their assistance!

Thought Ghostwriting can be costly, Global Book Publishers provides reasonable prices without compromising quality. Their writing turned out to be first-rate material, and the editing was exhaustive . For my money, I got the best value.

Global Book Publishers transcends mere writing. They linked me with designers and editors and guided me in creating my book proposal. It was one-stop shopping for the publication of my business book.

Although I wasn't sure about ghostwriting a children's book. Global Book Publishers convinced me otherwise during a free consultation. Their author brilliantly caught the mind of little child. Working together, we produced an entertaining and instructive narrative. I couldn't be happier!

Though Global Book Publishers made it a great experience, writing a memoir might be intimidating. Their writer guided me across some delicate subjects and was quite patient. They truly gave me tale life in a manner I could not have done on my own.

Dealing with Global Book Publishers saved me quite a bit. Though getting it down on paper was another matter entirely, I had a fantastic concept. Their author enabled me to clarify the characters and truly caught my voice. They also kept me informed all through and fulfilled every deadline. Quite advised!

Let me start by saying, this has been an inspiring experience. There were three persons that literally took me by the hand and walked me through the process. The last but not least, Allen Williams; made sure that each step was done professionally, correctly and efficiently. I would recommend Global Book Publishers to everyone.

The team turned my non-fiction concept into an authoritative and engaging book. Their research skills are top-notch, and they presented the information clearly and compellingly. The team was through and responsive, addressing all my feedback and ensuring that the final manuscript was of the highest quality. I'm grateful for their dedication and expertise.

The editors at Global Book Publishers are meticulous and detail-oriented. They helped me to improve my writing and make my book shine. They caught errors I would have missed on my own and offered insightful suggestions for improving the flow and clarity of my writing. Their editing services were invaluable in helping me to polish my manuscript and ensure it was ready for publication.

Global books publishing was paid to do the format and edit my book and then return my manuscript It came back to me with no page numbers I told them and he sent it back with the page numbers but a water mark over the whole manuscript he said it was to protect the book but that made no sense how can I publish it with that watermark I did not ask for. This was done after I told them I can't afford to pay $999 for copy write I told them I will do it myself that's when the underhandedness started, I spoke to a supervisor, and he says there is no issue on his end suggesting that its my fault now I have to plug in page numbers myself because they refuse to help me. And I'm not sure how to do that. He said he will take care of it but as of today has not. he didn't even offer a discount. I paid $650 for this service, and I have to do some of their work. NOT FAIR. I also did a video and posted it to my YT channel. I believe this is happening because I told them I will not be using their service for the copywrite and website I just don't have that much money, and everyone knows you don't need to charge $1000 for copywrite. that is WAY TOO Much I feel I am being punish and have to do the work that I paid them to do. I just want to bless the world with my book. I must say the work they did do looks really good. But that is no reason to slow down my book launch!!

Started using the services few weeks ago but 100℅ satisfy with their services on time delivery thank you for my work.
