The training provided is indeed helpful, maybe the missing part would be a one-on-one talk with the checker and a discussion on how they evaluated your VA trial sourcing activity. This would make a better impact to improve the acquisition of skills of your VA so hopefully, the senior who makes the evaluation can show how he or she does the checking.
