Absolutely appalling customer service…
Absolutely appalling customer service and unprofessionalism. I am currently trying to switch my broker because of their total silence, but they are completely ignoring my requests for a No Claims Bonus (NCB) statement for my policy. I tried reaching out via email to my manager on September 26, messaged them on WhatsApp on September 28, and followed up with general support emails—all completely ignored.
To make matters worse, I called them to transfer my insurance to my newly purchased 2023 vehicle, and spoke with a representative for over 30 minutes. She refused to insure the car claiming it needed an NCT! As a 2023 brand-new car, it is legally exempt from an NCT for 4 years, and the official system schedules the first test years from now. She also refused to process it because I hadn't received the physical logbook yet, completely ignoring the fact that vehicle ownership transfers take a few days to process by post after a purchase.
Terrible competence, absolute refusal to help, and they just hold onto your money while ignoring basic client requests. Avoid this brokerage at all costs!

Data protection
I submitted a van insurance quotation form on the GMIB website. I did not receive the expected email confirmation, but almost immediately after submitting my details I received an automated scam call asking for my bank card details.
Please check the security of your website and how customer data is being handled. The timing strongly suggests there may be a data security issue.
Not a very reassuring first impression.

Effortless car insurance renewal
They made my car insurance renewal so easy. Padraig Sugrue reached out to me via WhatsApp and we arranged a chat as I had found a cheaper quote elsewhere. He matched that quote and offered me key cover which the other vendor was charging more for. Very effective use of WhatsApp for me showing screen grabs from other vendors. No need to submit any new paperwork as I am an existing customer. 5/5
