The staff are amazing. Very friendly and fun to spend time with whilst exploring the many treasures this shop has to offer. They’re very welcoming, and have played a huge role in supporting my young son into painting and reading.

I've been visiting Gobsmack for many years through it's growth and unit changes, it's still as unique and intriguing as ever. I love popping in even if just for a browse amongst the diverse array of products and decor, not to mention the friendly and insightful staff. The owner is particularly welcoming, and often runs community events and competitions. Bravo.

Gobsmack comics is a great independent comic book store. They have a variety of content and memorabilia. I’ve made many a purchase there and have always found what I needed. The prices are competitive and the staff always welcoming and helpful.
They often do community events and hold activities for children and geeks everywhere.

My 12yr daughter loves this shop, so does my son and husband. Have bought a few things over the yrs and have always been given advice or help. When my daughter wants to go in someone always says hello and we never feel uncomfortable going in to have a look around. We love the star wars day you arange. I asked my daughter to rate you and she said 5 stars

A lovely store with incredibly welcoming staff. Every time I have entered I have been greeted with smiles. My boyfriend shops here frequently and is always happen with stock and service.

Used this shop several times over the years, but I never feel comfortable in his shop. Constantly name calling people that are politically right or who don't agree with his alignment. There used to be a time people were just more than their politics. I don't really interact with him because of this. If Forbidden Planet delivered safely me and my mate would never step foot in here.

Wow. I have just read the reply from Gobsmack and can honestly say I am Gobsmacked! 1, I Don't know you personally and I certainly don't follow your shop on any social media. 2 A targeted attack? When did you ever become so important that you think for one second that you have a more than a frustrating moment in my head. 3 I left the review because I am sick of coming in and listening to whoever it is, some guy with a bald head and glasses always piping on about Trump and that idiot Farage, or how people on the right are 'expletive' idiots or morons'.
I come in once or twice a month to pick up some comics and supplies, to a place i would expect a little freedom from that, and instead I get to feel uncomfortable and out of place. Last time was it so I wrote a review. No conspiracy here fella. Not everyone cares about politics the way you all do in that store

This is getting a bit ridiculous now my friend. My friend also wanted to write a review, but we agreed that it wasn't necessary for two of us to talk about the same thing. So if I did have it in for you, surely I would have encouraged him to do so. The fact that you are sitting there questioning whether or not this is a genuine review is in itself insulting. I left a review because I don't feel comfortable talking about it with you. What do you want me to do, come up to you and say 'hi there, I am one of those people you call idiots because I agree with Trumps Tariffs'. You seem to forget I have heard how you talk about it. And so to your last point, I don't care about a persons politics, it really doesn't bother me as long as you are not an extremist. But not caring about who supports who doesn't not mean that I don't feel uncomfortable when you tie everyone with the same brush. I felt uncomfortable, and no I never said everytime I am in there as you put it, but you know yourself it is spoken as much as comics are. Just because I am the only one to write a review, doesn't mean there aren't others who feel the same. So stop looking for a conspiracy, and just accept that this is how you have made two people feel, whether intentional or not
