Sorry to hear you felt as though your time with GolfComps was wasted, although we would love to understand this better. We can't see any previous correspondence from you regarding this and it is regrettable we were not given the chance to discuss this with you.
The last time you placed an order with us was back in February when we first started drawing competitions. It is true that you have to be in it to win it in order to have the chance at winning in the first place!

Same people winning all the time
I won a set of wedges and my overall spend was about 20 quid but you do tend to see the same names winning a lot. They obviously spend big to win.

We are sorry to hear you have not had any recent wins with us.
GolfComps is not Scottsdale Golf "selling cheap stuff" to people, that is simply not how a competition site works. We choose a variety of premium golf gear based on what we have available in our Scottsdale Golf warehouse so that our customers can have the chance to win said premium gear, in a fun way and for the fraction of the usual cost.
Everyone has the same odds but your chances improve when you enter with the maximum number of tickets available. For example, if a competition sells out, the odds at full entry can be as low as 10/1. If only half the tickets are sold and one person holds the maximum allocation, those odds can improve even further to around 5/1.
As we are still a fairly new raffle site, we are still building a
following base which in comparison to other sites who have been running for years, will be noticeably and considerably smaller.
Since we started drawing competitions in mid Feb 26, we have gained a core group of very loyal customers.
Most of them won straight away with the customer base being so small, which of course motivates them to enter more draws and we have gained more along the way. Most of our core and loyal customers have spent thousands of pounds with us on their tickets over multiple competitions which obviously will higher their chances of a win rate because they have more tickets in the draw.
They also choose to spend thousands of pounds on their tickets and if they do choose to resell or gift any wins to family or friends, then this is completely out of our control.
As we run around 30-40 comps a week, it won't be uncommon to see the same names in the draws. While it would be great if every draw had a completely new winner, this isn’t something we’re able to influence.
While we would love every competition to have a new winner, this is not something in our control.

Great site but needs a live draw
Great site but Time to call it a day wasted so much money chasing prizes after a few wins but calling it a day for a while would be great if you could witness a draw like similar sites gets tiring seeing the same names winning each week when you can’t see there ticket drawn live.

Messages to say you are not a winner before the draw took place!
Having just started buying tickets on this service I was a little sceptical that the winners were actually chosen at random.
On my second batch of tickets purchased I went to check my tickets and when checking noticed that there was a message that came up to say you are not a winner. This being the day before the draw took place I was a little concerned.
Wont be buying any more tickets!

With every main competition live on the website, we also offer instant win prizes as shown on every page.
After every entry, your tickets give you a chance to win an instant win prize for site credits. All of the instant win ticket numbers can be seen on the page all the time.
The pop up you are referring to is to let you know that unfortunately you did not win an instant win prize with your tickets in this draw, but your tickets will still of course be entered into the main competition. Instant wins are just there to provide a little fun for the player after placing an order!

See the same 3 people winning all the time kind of makes you wonder 🤔 why bother, are these comps designed for people who can spend a lot of money on each comp then sell off what they have won, because you can only have 14 clubs in your bag? Not trying to sound bitter but it can be quite off putting.
