I have entered a few times but stopped odds of winning are terrible
I have entered a few times but stopped after I looked closely at what was on offer. There are some free entry comps which is great but when you look at your chances of winning a paid competition there is only one winner! The Shop make a killing.eg Win a £599 driver ! There are 799 tickets at £1.49 a ticket this means the shop takes in £1190 which is a great mark up and excellent profit for them. Your chance of winning is 1 in 799 which is really really poor. In some comps there are 999 or 1111 tickets on sale which greatly reduces your chances of winning!

Hi David,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear that GolfComps wasn't the right fit for you.
We pride ourselves on being completely transparent, with the maximum number of tickets for every competition clearly displayed on each product page before anyone enters, allowing customers to make their own informed decision.
While our free entry competitions are a great way to get involved, they are limited to one entry per person and naturally attract a much larger number of entrants. Our paid competitions also have one overall winner, but they allow customers to purchase multiple tickets if they wish. Although each competition has a maximum ticket allocation, our paid competitions rarely sell out before the draw, meaning the actual number of entries is often significantly lower than the maximum available. As a result, the odds are often better than they may first appear.
Our competitions are designed to give customers the opportunity to win premium golf equipment for a fraction of the retail price, and every draw is conducted fairly, independently, and transparently.
We appreciate your feedback and thank you for giving GolfComps a try when we first launched. Should you decide to give us another try in the future, we'd be delighted to welcome you back. We wish you all the best.
