Gooseberry Avis 

Definitely an appalling company as with other previous reviews please DO NOT use this site. Goods ordered in 4 months ago. Many exchanges of emails saying internal problems with order until I finally cancelled order 6 weeks ago requesting a refund. Still more exchanges of email since but I have not received a refund. How long does it reasonably take to process a refund?

Please stay away from this company. I have never received my orders and refund. I placed two orders last month with order numbers 109070 & 109229 and I have not received anything. I tried to email them, and they replied that it would be with me soon but I received nothing, and emailed them for refund, they said they will send you refund confirmation emails but I have not received anything. Stay away from the company!!

Same story as many others, oder not fulfilled. Cannot speak to anyone as only get hold of an answermachine. Emails from customer service fob you off constantly telling you order will be sent, refund will be sent etc. NOTHING almost 3 months later. The joke is I only saved myself about £5 on a £50 order, have now had to take this up with my bank, what a load of hassle and they are £50 in pocket!!

Appalling company DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. Placed an order for Christmas gift on 06/12, order not received and still waiting!!!!
Have now cancelled order and asked for refund but as they never respond to anything then am not holding out much hope.

Made an order 5th Nov, still no order or refund! No update from them, have chased repeatedly, keep saying they will issue my refund but STILL NOTHING over 2 months on! Dodgy website DO NOT USE.

Ruined my Hair! Said it was my fault because my natural hair not good. AFRICAN HAIR IS BEAUTIFUL. thankyou!!

Ordered on 10/11/19 - emailed Gooseberry after waiting THREE WEEKS (04/12/19) for my order to arrive, and not hearing anything. They said there was a delay and they could cancel and refund my order, but I am writing this on 18/12/19 and I STILL HAVEN’T received my refund. Totally unacceptable. I need my money back and I will be reporting to trading standards. Have emailed about the refund and no reply.
Be wise enough to completely avoid this company.

EDIT - 28/01/2020 I hounded the company for weeks to get my money back - and they always sent a reply along the lines of ‘we’ll look into it’ but did nothing. I then started asking for their official complaints procedure, and whether they are part of an ADR scheme, and they ignored my emails. Reported to my bank as fraud and got my money back through the bank NOT FROM GOOSEBERRY. I would advise anyone who has issues with them to report to trading standards, their bank, and even the police. Look them up on Companies House - ‘Gooseberry Salons LTD’ has been dissolved since 2015 after numerous issues with their accounts. ‘Gooseberry Shop LTD’ currently has their accounts overdue... BEWARE.

Placed an order on 1st November 2019 they took the money on 4th November 2019. Emailed them on 21st November asking for an update. Was told they had internal delivery problems and l would get delivery last week. Still haven't received my order. Have just sent another email, will they respond with a delivery date???

Don't EVER EVER buy any thing from gooseberry, you never get your goods and you never get your money back they just keep fobbing you off,very very disappointed and would not like anyone to go through what I have gone the threw, still waiting for either the goods or the money back after nearly 2 months.
