Drivers: Don't let them bully you. Here is what to do
Gophr management often uses 'Final Warnings' to silence drivers who report payment errors or missing Congestion Charges. If they underpay you or threaten your account for raising a legitimate issue, do not just stay quiet.
1. Collect Evidence: Take screenshots of every job offer and your final earnings immediately.
2. Report to Clients: Contact the head offices of the companies you deliver for (Wickes, Screwfix, etc.). They have 'Supplier Codes of Conduct' and don't want their brand linked to unfair treatment.
3. ACAS & Unions: Even if you are self-employed, you can open a dispute with ACAS for withheld pay. Contact the IWGB union to report systemic abuse.
4. Legal Action: Use 'Money Claim Online' (Small Claims Court) for any unpaid charges.
They rely on us being quiet to keep their contracts. If we all report these issues to their big clients, they will be forced to treat us with respect.

We’re sorry to see this - we did reach out to talk things through, and we know we should have replied sooner. That’s on us.
We put a lot into our couriers - training, support, and tools to help them do well. Many have been with us for years, plenty work with us full-time. We pay above the minimum wage, offer benefits through our partner Onsi, and run a Courier Advisory Board where couriers help shape how we work. If a courier falls short of the standards we set, we follow a clear process - with a chance to appeal at every step.
That process is the same for everyone. We don’t give warnings or close accounts over payment questions - those are always handled on their own.
In your case, the warnings were about delivery performance and behaviour towards our team, with a chance to appeal each one. On the congestion charge - couriers cover this, as set out in our terms and the same across the industry.
