As a skate instructor I'd like to say this company is kind of a gimmick, they never pay people on time and it seems like a scam. Go to your local skate shop and get a skate instructor there insteas
Scheduling was good, and the instructor showed up on time and ready to go. Full 60 minute lesson and lots of skating. Very happy with the lessons and results. Thank you!
I had a great time learning with my instructor Chadd Sinclair! His enthusiastic and encouraging teaching style helped boost my confidence and fueled my new passion for skateboarding!

Very unprofessional company. Instructor showed up did not even approach Us in the parking lot to see if we were his 9:00 appointment. Just went to the skatepark and skated like he was just a visitor. Talked to the company they said they reprimanded him and he no longer works for them but would not refund my money. Shady Shady operation...

I paid in bulk for lessons for my daughter. Goskate booked the lessons but on each occasion the trainer never turned up. I asked for a refund but they asked for another chance to resolve and they would rebook the lessons. I gave them that chance but they didn’t so I asked my credit card company, Amex, for a refund. They did initially but Goskate convinced them that as per T&Cs I couldn’t get a refund so they charged me again but because I was busy at work I missed the deadline to appeal. Now these guys at Goskate aren’t responding despite me saying I’ll accept the lessons of someone will actually turn up. My experience is very bad and I would never recommend them
BEWARE- SCAMMERS!
Go Skate has scammed many people. Look them up on BBB, Yelp, and Pissed Consumer- you can see for yourself. They scammed us too by overcharging $599 and will not return calls or emails. Stay far away from this company if you don't want the hassle of trying to get your money back.
SCAMMERS - BEWARE
This company is a SCAM! Do not under any circumstances give your credit card number to them. They will not issue a refund and any attempts to cancel go ignored. I called my bank to report fraud and issue me a new card to avoid these scammers from stealing anymore money. Stay Away!!!!!

Stay away from this company (goskate). They are scammers! I signed up lessons for my daughter. 6 lessons with Go Skate and had a great time with the instructor eventhough she didn't learn that much. Upon completion, I received an email saying I would be auto enrolled if I don't cancel it on the link. I cancelled because it was too much money. I found better company that charges way cheaper than them and have experience instructors. Even though I cancelled and confirmed that I cancelled with them, I was charged $599. I text them. I received a text that a refund will be credited to my account. I waited to see if it would go into my account. It didnt. 30 days, nothing. I decided to reach out to them and after many tries, and every time they will tell me Iwill get my money back as soon as possible. They told me they would get refund to my account 7-10 business days and never did. Several weeks later, no refund and no one would answer me. I made a dispute on my card. They are big scammers! Stay away from them!
Don’t use this company!
Booked with this company and paid a deposit. My kids lessons were scheduled for Saturday. The first Saturday was canceled Friday night. The second Saturday I didn’t hear anything, and had to call the 800 to see what was going on. Was told to sit tight, and then had a complete no show. Called to cancel and was begged to give them another chance. Agreed on the phone, and then decided the next day to just cancel. Called back the Monday because there was no answer the Sunday. They refused to credit saying I was canceling and it was my own fault even tho I reminded them they were the ones who had no shows and cancelations. Terrible to work with. Don’t recommend.
Lessons good. Business bad
I took lessons with Go Skate and had a great time with my instructor. Upon completion, I received an email saying I would be auto enrolled if I didn’t cook on the link. It’s winter and I would have taken another course in the spring but declined because it was the winter.
I was charged $659. I emailed them and fairly promptly, I received an email saying that a refund had been credited to my account.
I waited 3-5 days to see if it would go into my account. It didn’t. 7-10 days, nothing. I decided to reach out to them and after many tries, I was able to speak to Sarah. She told me she would get back to me and never did. I was told by another woman days later that it could take up to a month to be reimbursed. Several weeks later, no refund and no one would answer me at their phone, I made a dispute on my card. I was temporarily refunded while they investigated.
It has been 44 days and I just got off the phone with the manager Ben and was told that he agrees that I should be paid back but there is nothing he could do. Something about a hold on their bank. He couldn’t guarantee that I would get the money back. I believe I was cordial although frustrated and I can’t believe a company would issue a refund and not follow through on their commitment. The best they could offer me was to take a lesson or give it to someone else. Amazing. I believe they’re a scam.
