Nu är våra bouclégardiner från Gotain uppsatta och vi kunde inte varit nöjdare. Ann-Louise har varit otroligt hjälpsam och gett väldigt bra rådgivning från början till slut. Rekommenderar alla att besöka butiken i Göteborg för ett härligt bemötande och proffsig hjälp på plats.

The curtain expert was incredibly helpful, and the ordering process was seamless. I also appreciated the clarity provided on the order and tracking process.

We've now installed the curtains, and they look fantastic! The installation was surprisingly easy and straightforward, even for us, despite not being the handiest people.

However, after making a small adjustment to the curtains, I ended up with 35 extra hooks. I asked if I could return the excess and was informed that I would need to pay 99kr for shipping, which is more than half of what I would receive as a refund. When I asked if the shipping fee could be waived, I was told the only option was to return them in person at the showroom in Gothenburg or Stockholm—I live in Lund.

As a company that specialises in made-to-measure products, I had expected a more flexible and customer-friendly returns process, particularly given the premium price point. When investing in tailored products, the service should reflect that level of care—not just during the purchase, but also in after-sales support. It would be great to see a more sustainable approach rather than leaving customers with unnecessary waste.

Don't be fooled by flashy Instagram ads. These are extremely challenging to hang, even for our experienced handyman. While the fabric is nice, they arrived wrinkled and it took hours to steam them. "Made to measure" is misleading, as the curtains have a maximum width; if you have a wide window, you'll need to hang multiple panels instead of the regular two (one on each end, flanking the window). The result looks terrible — I have 4 panels of curtains across my living room, so when I close them shut, I can see where one curtain ends and the next begins.
Despite Gotain confirming the measurements, the blackout curtains are not wide enough to provide blackout effect in my bedroom.
Overall: a €3000 mistake.

Incredibly cheap quality of fabric, fixtures and string. Low quality of manufacturing too. Photos and website appear luxury however in reality the products are flimsy and poor. Made doubly worse by the high price points. The blind I ordered arrived with a broken part and upon emailing the customer service several times to ask for advice or a replacement part, Gotain ignored the emails. Would not recommend sadly.

We ordered the café curtain and the product is really beautiful! Lovely linnen fabric and the rail has a good and firm design. Easy to assemble. A really big plus is the free (online) curtain appointment you can plan. Ann-Louise was super friendly and helpful. Shipment to the Netherlands was very fast. We’re really pleased with our purchase, definitely recommend!!

Ann -Louise at Gotain has been really helpful in making me feel confident in my order. She was very knowledgable and always quick to respond to any queries I had.

Jättenöjd med processen - fick ett toppenbra hembesök där vi gick igenom tyger och olika varianter av gardiner. Bra offert, där beställning gick att lägga direkt med smidig betalning. Snabb leverans och bra översikt över tiden för leverans.

Vi använde deras mätservice för gardiner i 6 rum.
Gardinerna till 3 av rummen var felsydda och i fel längd samt att de glömde skicka med delar till skenorna.

När vi meddelande att gardinerna var 5 cm för korta svarade dom med att dom inte kan garantera längd och att gardinerna är gjorde i naturmaterial.

Vi fick ett otroligt dåligt bemötande och framförallt felaktiga gardiner och hade inte rekommenderat någon att handla från gotain.

I had a very good experience with Ann Louise. We had a call and she helped me with the measurements and the type of curtain that could fit best to my living room.

Also, I requested some other things by email and she was very reactive.
