Gottstein: Returns almost impossible
I recently bought a pair of house shoes from Gottstein—the warmest model they offer in that category (with a leather sole). After wearing them for just one hour at my desk, I realized they are not warm at all—my old Crocs with holes are warmer! So, I returned them.
Gottstein refused the return because the leather sole showed signs of that one hour of wear and sent the shoes back to me.
Be aware: if you buy from this company, you won’t get your money back unless the shoes are completely unused. The only acceptable “test” is standing on a rug without marking the sole. This makes it impossible to check comfort or warmth before committing.
