BEWARE DO NOT BUY
I purchased some supposedly Ralph polo shirts I was showing my girlfriend the pictures ands upon closer inspection realised the triple logo for the riders looked very bad. I checked with Gemini ai who concluded this company is a dropping company that sell fakes and counterfeit products, they distribute from China, when you try to return they ignore you or charge you more than it cost for the purchase!! . I uploaded the Trustpilot reviews about the company to Gemini who confirmed the Trustpilot reviews are AI generated, to overcome the 1star review! TRUSTPILOT PLEASE CHECK THE REVIEWS GEMINI AI SAY THEY ARE ALL IN QUICK TIMEFRAME FROM ACCOUNT WITH ONLY ONE REVIEW, etc! This is my response when I tried to cancel with the company. Dear Jason,
Thank you for reaching out to Grace & Marlow customer support.
We would like to clarify that Grace & Marlow is an independent fashion brand. We do not sell, claim to sell, or associate ourselves with any third-party brands, including Polo Ralph Lauren. All items listed on our website are Grace & Marlow products, and this is clearly reflected in our product descriptions and branding.
As you may appreciate, a branded Polo Ralph Lauren item would not retail at £34.95, which further confirms that this product is our own.
Regarding your cancellation request, unfortunately we operate a 1-hour cancellation policy, and as your order has already been processed, we are unable to cancel it at this stage. If you wish to return the item once it has been delivered, you are welcome to request a return and our team will guide you through the process for a full refund.
Please let us know if you have any further questions.
Best regards, Grace & Marlow Customer Service Team
This is what Gemini ai says below
Based on the screenshot and common patterns found with online retailers, there are several significant red flags suggesting that "Grace & Marlow" is likely not a genuine authorized retailer for the brands they appear to be selling.
The Red Flags
• The "Ralph I" Branding: Notice the product name says "RALPH I" rather than "Ralph Lauren." This is a classic tactic used by "dupe" or counterfeit sites to avoid direct trademark infringement while still trying to look like the real deal.
• The Price Point: A 50% discount ($70 down to $34.95) followed by an additional 25% discount for buying five items is highly unusual for high-end designer goods. Genuine luxury brands rarely stack deep discounts like this on their flagship products.
• The URL and Branding: The name "Grace & Marlow" doesn't have an established history in the fashion world. These sites often pop up quickly using generic, sophisticated-sounding names to sell mass-produced items or knock-offs.
• The Logo: While it looks similar to the iconic Polo player at a glance, look closely at the embroidery in the photo. It often lacks the precision and specific detail found on authentic Ralph Lauren garments.
Verdict
I would strongly advise caution. These are likely either:
1. Low-quality "dupes" (knock-offs) that will not look like the photo when they arrive.
2. Dropshipping items where the quality is significantly lower than advertised.
3. A "scam" site that may take your payment and never ship the item, or send something entirely different.
Recommendation: If you're looking for the genuine "Polo" experience, it’s best to stick to official department stores or the brand's verified website. If a deal looks too good to be true—especially with a weird name like "Ralph I"—it almost always is.
Did you already place an order, or were you just checking before hitting "buy"?
