We love our oak nest of tables & they look fantastic in our living room! We use them constantly!

There were a few hiccups along the way in keeping us updated & the delivery of the furniture but customer services were really brilliant at sorting out any issues.

We have no complaints & would recommend their range of flat pack wooden products!

The side tables fit perfectly in the narrow space next to our couch and might be the most beautiful thing in the room. The design is clean and the tables sturdy.

The packaging is not wasteful either and was easily put in our recycling bin.

But the best thing was two screws were missing with our box. Before I needed to let them know, an envelop arrived in the mail with the two screws so we could quickly assemble the last table.

Will definitely look to buy more useful furniture in future.

Everything from acknowledging my order to delivery and then instructions for putting my desk together have been excellent. Grain kept me informed throughout out the period from ordering to delivery, clearly managing their workflow well, which must be very difficult in the current environment. Isabella, the customer service manager is brilliant. Finally, the instructions for putting my desk together were very clear and I now have a fabulous new desk!

I recently discovered Grain whilst trawling the internet for a new desk, along with the rest of the world during these challenging times! Being able to easily customise both the size and colour of the desk using their clever design tool on their website really helped me to visualise the design, bringing my ideas to life. My beautiful colour samples arrived today in a very cute box. The hardest part now is choosing just one colour so that I can place my order. 10/10 for product and service :-)

We ordered our table from Grain as we loved the style and the fact that it was hand-made locally. Despite a few COVID-related delays and delivery issues, Grain jumped through numerous hoops to get us the table in time for Christmas and I cannot tell you how thrilled I am with our new furniture. It has made a huge difference - thank you!

Table was easy to assemble, great quality and exactly as specified. Despite the odd delay (due to external/Covid factors) customer support was excellent

Excellent communication from Isabella and the Grain team keeping us updated on progress and Covid related delays to the order, which was very helpful and reassuring. Especially like the way communication was tailored to be personal.

The Birnam Stools arrived and were very well packed and protected and easy to put together.

Slight scratch mark on one table top that had been ‘polished’ out but not enough to warrant a return.

All round excellent service from Grain and very pleased with the product that went straight into use over the Christmas period.

The website experience was very intuitive and I was guided all the way through to purchase with ease. Any questions I had were answered swiftly and very helpfully by the friendly customer services. I had an issue with delivery (at the fault of the delivery company, not Grain) but this was chased up and rectified immediately — and I was refunded delivery cost without having to ask for it, which is rare in this day and age. The product is lovely just as described. I couldn't ask for more and would recommend to all.

High quality, really well made, beautifully finished piece of furniture. The hand made quality stood out from the moment we opened the box.
Easy assembly, the mint colour is exactly as per the photos, and it’s so nice to be able to have the size exactly as per our needs without having to compromise on default options with one of the brands.
And of course the added value of being able to support local business.

In the midst of a global pandemic, the grain team has produced for me four beautiful chairs. I received them disassembled and was able to put them together by myself with a single hex key in the time it took me to enjoy a cup of coffee. Due to the pandemic, the delivery date had been delayed, but they kept me well appraised of progress and in the end, the chairs themselves are just wonderful. Handsome, sturdy and multipurpose, they function both as short stools for my dining table and also as little side tables for my sofa and bed. They weren’t cheap. But they will last a lifetime, and can be easily disassembled and reassembled if I move to a new home. I love them so much my little Herman Miller-built/Eames-designed rocking chair is jealous.

Fantastic from start to finish! Communication not a problem throughout even during lockdown. Received table and bench yesterday and all packaged perfectly and arrived on time. The quality is great and super easy to assemble.....we love it ! We Especially love the signatures underneath the furniture of the talented people who made it ☺️

We ordered a set of nested tables during a time of global materials shortage, so the delays we experienced were understandable and unavoidable. Despite this, Grain kept us very well informed of progress and when we could expect to receive our order. When they did arrive we were impressed by the craftsmanship and quality but there was an issue with the tables that needed a replacement set. This was sorted out very quickly and without fuss. Izzy gave amazing customer service throughout. We couldn’t be happier with the tables which look brilliant and should last a very long time. Thanks to all the team at Grain; they’re doing a great job!

Although Covid-19 did it's best to spoil things, making our order a little late, the table arrived and we love it. Easy to put up and stunning to look at, we are thrilled with our dining table and look forward to the day when we can actually fill it with 8 people. Thanks Grain.

Great samples product, usable coasters.

While I haven't ordered anything yet, I like the ethos of only making products to order.
I am tempted by nesting side tables too.

I am delighted with my Grain side table/ stool. The high quality of design and materials used are obvious. It is well made and draws the eye to its unfussy but sylish presence in my living room The company are excellent at keeping customers informed and involved once an order is made. Any queries are responded to quickly and efficiently .
It arrived on the agreed day.
I'd recommend getting the sample coasters prior to choosing a finish.

Love the website, its super easy to use and to be able to play around with the dimensions to gauge the correct size & materials was very useful.
Grain did have a lot of problems with fulfilling my order in the initial time-frame and the wait time exceeded expectations. However, to their credit they were always communicating step by step what was happening and why there were hold ups.
The product itself (Brenin Desk) is excellent. The video instructions for assembly are clear and the quality is there to see. It was worth the wait.

We were so pleased with our new furniture from Grain and customer experience from order to aftercare advice. Would definitely recommend!

Just taken delivery of our table and we are very happy. Being able to pick the size and finish means it is perfect for our space. Waiting to see how the linoleum surface works out but all good so far!

Update Jan 2021. Lino surface is great! We also use the table as a work surface for craft and cooking and it is still perfect. Initially we were concerned as it feels absorbent but a gentle wipe with some mild detergent keeps it clean. Wouldn’t want to leave red wine on it overnight of course....

Very good products both design and quality of finish. Took a little longer to deliver due to COVID-19 and also an increase in orders around the time I ordered.
Izzy sorted a few details of the delivery very smoothly for me and is a good asset to the business
