Bought an oak table and bench as a wedding gift and it’s fantastic quality and finish. I love that it’s handmade in the UK and sourced sustainably. Plus it’s extendable and really easy to do so. It’ll be our forever table!

Everything from their lovely but simple site, to their communication we received whilst our table was being made, to the hand delivery from Tom (one of the founders) was absolutely first rate - as is the finish of the table which is brilliant.

He even put it together for us.

Grain is exactly the sort of company we need more of in this country - dedicated, friendly service with a passion for an excellent product.

For our living room we wanted a plain round extendable table and had trouble finding such a table in the furniture shop. So Grain brought the solution: We were able to design the perfect table for us in the right measures, material and colour, so it also fits well with the existing interior.
We live in Germany, but the table made it here safely and without damage via international delivery.
We could assemble the table quickly and without issues. We are very happy with it and will buy our next one from Grain as well. We would recommend Grain to anyone who needs an individual piece of furniture.

Grain is a fantastic, innovative and professional young company. We were looking for some one to design and custom make an exterior bench for our retail store. It was obvious from the first conversation that Grain had a very similar ethos to us. They share a passion for well made, quality items, with a real focus on craftsmanship. Tom & Robin at Grain are professional and friendly and very knowledgable about their products. They are also extremely passionate about creating the right product for the right space.
Our Eccles bench in rich oak & black steel really compliments our traditional victorian shopfront. It is enjoyed and commented on by our customers, and has helped to create a sense of community at the store. The bench has managed to withstand all weather conditions, and is ageing beautifully.

Wonderful - I really can't say enough great stuff about Grain! We got a Woburn desk in Natural Oak made for the corner of our lounge to allow for working-from-home and it has really made the room come together. We didn't have a huge amount of space but the guys worked hard to make sure we had enough room to work without the desk dominating the space. The size and colour fit perfectly with the room and the rest of our furniture and the design is just what we wanted - simple, modern with nice clean lines. Every time we have visitors the desk is the first thing they compliment! The guys at Grain are lovely too, super-friendly, and really care about getting your furniture perfect for you. Would 100% (and do often!) recommend.

I was looking for a dining table and couldn't find anything I wanted that the high st offered.
I came across Grain and approached them to make a bespoke table.
After a consultation with Tom and Robin and on going discussions our table was delivered and it was everything we had hoped.
We 've had the table for a few months now and we get compliments and it still looks as new after everyday family wear and tear.

Love our table!

I highly recommend buying from Grain. I'd found it difficult to find the right size desk for my work area and wanted to make the most of the space I had. Through the website I found it it easy to select the perfect size and type of wood I wanted. The guys at Grain were nothing but helpful when I had a query about sizing and went above and beyond to help me out. They clearly know what they are talking about, which was reassuring as I'd never bought a custom piece before. I couldn't be happier with my desk.
