We only have one aim, to give savers direct access to, or allow trustees, employers and providers to provide tools their pension savers need, to improve their retirement outcomes. Put simply, there are plenty of tools which tell pension savers if they take A each year, earn B returns, their pots will last for C years. For almost everyone these offer no practical help, as nearly everyone has other income or savings to put towards retirement. Included in these are State Pensions, Final Salary pensions, ISA savings and part time work for example. Some of these are taxable, some are not. Our tool is the only fully holistic planning tool that can be used directly by individuals without expert input. Our tool answers the one question pension savers actually want answered, "How do I use everything I have, to get the after tax income I want in retirement?". A great start to retirement planning
A great start to retirement planning. There are one or two areas of improvement to help those who have started drawdown but the output plans are really helpful.
Considering it’s free and doesn’t try to upsell you to a paid plan this is well worthwhile trying out.
Also major kudos for the prompt and helpful support via email.

Thanks for the email. Sorry we didn't meet your expectations. We are a completely free site, so we need to upgrade things in a certain way or it would be impossible to remain free to everyone. Our blogs cover why there has been a delay on this. There are other freemium type sites that charge £5-10 per month for add ons like couples planning that can meet your needs before we deliver ours.

Great for understanding where you actually are financially with retirement age approaching.
Really helpful in helping me get a bead on where I might be heading. The modellers are a great help and have allowed me to see how I *might* be able to bridge the gap between potential early retirement and state pension age. I’m a little better informed and have more oversight re my position as a result.

Really useful tool
Really useful tool. Would be nice to be able to select a part of the total tax free amount as an up-front lump sum. Unfortunately its currently all or nothing (unless I missed something)

Many thanks for the review. If you want to do this, lets say your tax free cash lump sum is £100K and you want half. Then just add £50K back in as another lumps sum at retirement date. This will go straight into savings, its not the same but will give you a very similar results as there is no income tax when drawing down savings.
