Fabulous trip to Norway for cross country skiing with a lovely group of friendly women and warm and welcoming trip guide. The hotel food was some of the best I have had the pleasure of eating and the whole experience was just a joy and very well curated and led. I could not recommend more!

Gutsy Girls was a fantastic company to travel with. This was my first time doing a solo group trip and it was great. I would certainly travel with them again. From the preparation details on the website, the helpful group WhatsApp and guidance about travel to the location, through the great location and partner agency (hotel etc) was fantastic. The range of activities alongside the main one was a great feature. This company also attracted a lovely bunch of people to holiday with. If you are thinking about it and not sure I would highly recommend you do.

LOVED snowshowing in Finland. Glorious. Even an early spring thaw didn't detract from plenty of thigh deep snow, frozen lakes and forests and OMG the silence was tangible. Host Evie did a great job looking after us, and Finnish guide Maria was kind, knowledgeable and catered for our every need as far as she could (carried two kettles in her rucksack for lunchtime tea and coffee!). Lots of nice touches (the coffee was always on early in the morning, we all know how to spot a kuukkelli!) and a supportive group of gutsy girls. And the saunas and ice dipping. And we got the the northern lights. I could go on... Do it.

Just recently home from the three day Gutsy Girls trip to Norway where we learnt to XC ski & also packed in yoga, a sleigh ride & ice dipping. Our host Frankie was incredibly warm, welcoming & super helpful and we enjoyed the company of a truly lovely group of ladies. Our XC ski instructor was absolutely amazing as she had the patience of a saint whilst being professional & fun. The family run hotel was warm & welcoming and the food & pack lunches were second to none. Top tip - pre book your train transfer & leave plenty of time! Many thanks.

Such a fantastic experience with gutsy girls cross-country ski trip in Norway. I appreciate it all of the pre-trip organization. The information was outlined in a very clear manner and even had recommended travel for plane and train, which was so easy. I ended up being on the same train as many of the other women and was able to meet each other early. The lodge and all dining were perfect. They accommodated my food preferences with no problems. Our ski instructor, Ursula, phenomenal. She was patient with our group and very encouraging, which helped everyone to get more comfortable on the skis. She was very sensitive to the weather to ensure that everyone was comfortable in the cold conditions. I learned a tremendous amount and felt fully supported the entire time. Our host, Petra, it was wonderful - she insured that we all had everything we needed, and she made the environment, very welcoming and inclusive. Overall, this was such a great investment of time and I walked away with many new friends. I would absolutely do this again! Well done, Gutsy Girls!!

I did the beginners learn to ski week in Sweden. It was an incredible experience and I met some great people. I couldn’t have asked for a better group to do this with. We had a fantastic guide Elly and our instructors were very good and helpful. They knew how to put us at ease. Excellent week. Great food and accommodation. I would definitely go again and will certainly be booking with gutsy girls in the future.

Beginners cross country skiing and yoga in Norway. My first trip with GG and hopefully not my last. The whole experience was welcoming, supportive and great fun.

A girl from oz headed to the arctic for a trip of a lifetime to Svalbard - first trip with gutsy girls but the beginning of something wonderful - I am so glad to have found GG- a journey to what seemed liked a last frontier - I was overwhelmed with the majestic and epic beauty. The glaciers, the ice bergs , fjords, ski mobiling into an epic sunset , hiking a glacier and sliding down into an ice cave for lunch , sleeping in a cabin in the middle of the arctic wilderness , finding polar bear footprints …A truly life changing experience !! An expedition that truly made all of the worries of daily life disappear as I was suspended in the moment and met myself again. Can’t recommend GG enough and grateful for all the wonderful

Amazing experience from start to finish! The organization was excellent and I loved traveling with such a fantastic group of women. The guide and the host were both wonderful—friendly, attentive, and made everyone feel comfortable right away. The whole trip was great, I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable travel experience!

If I had to find one thing to suggest it would be to find homemade cakes on return from a days skiing …
But that’s it !! Everything else from our instructor to our yoga teacher to our host to the food , sauna, ice dip, sleigh ride connections were spot on

An amazing experience (cross country ski in Norway). Took me out of my comfort zone but I never felt unsafe. Our guide (Wendy) and our ski instructor (Ursula) were brilliant. Always there for us, always patient. Enjoyed so much more than I thought. Will definitely book again with Gutsy Girls !

Fab week in Finland, on my first gutsy girl trip. Packed itinerary of snow shoeing, saunas and ice dipping with campfire pitstops and a bit of sledging for extra fun.
Our fabulous host Evie and knowledgeable guide Maria ensured we didn’t have to worry about a thing. The food was fabulous and the scenery spectacular. There were lots of strong characters, interesting discussions and challenging treks. Viewing the northern lights show on our final night from the middle of a frozen lake was the icing on the cake.

Had an incredible second trip to Norway Cross country Skiing with Gutsy Girls. They are so well organised, accommodation and food are brilliant. Must also give a big shoutout to the amazing instructors they find, oh and the most dreamy locations that are away from the tourist trail. I'm sure I'll book again.

The best experience I had, location was great, guidance amazing, our host was brilliant! (Thank you Chrissy!!) and so the other ladies. Definitely recommend for the experience of a lifetime!

Just back from 7 day cross country skiing and yoga in Norway. The whole experience was brilliant. Our host Frankie was lovely, very kind, thoughtful and lots of fun. She created a great atmosphere, so that everyone was super relaxed. The hotel was perfect, all the facilities you need, homely and comfortable with superb food and a very relaxed vibe. The activities were well planned. It was my first Gutsy Girls holiday and made me want to do lots more. Thank you Frankie and GG!

Fabulous experience in Iceland. Came all the way from the U.S. and felt more than welcomed. Everything was very organized, and when the weather was not in our favor, we had alternate options. Everyone in the group was chill and lovely, and our host was very on top of everything. First GG trip and would love to book another!

Just back from my fifth trip with Gutsy Girls and I have to say this one was something else! Lapland did not disappoint – the Sweden Multi Activity adventure was everything I hoped for and more. Every GG trip has been brilliant but this one really did sit up there with the best of them.
Flo our host was fab. Every evening she'd check in with us, letting us know what we were doing the next day and what to wear and pack – it sounds simple but honestly it made such a difference. No faff, no guessing, just turn up ready and enjoy it.
The activities were incredible and there was genuinely so much packed in – snowshoeing, snowmobiling, ice fishing, visiting a Sami village, meeting reindeer, campfires, the northern lights, an ice dip, a husky sled ride... I could go on! I honestly couldn't choose a favourite, every single one was special in its own way. Flo and the guides were brilliant at keeping on top of conditions and making sure we got the absolute most out of every day. We didn't miss a thing.
The food was great throughout, the scenery was jaw-dropping, and as always it's the people that make a GG trip what it is. The women in our group were wonderful and that connection is honestly what turns a great holiday into an unforgettable one.

I’ve just got back from a week in Norway learning how to cross country ski and it was honestly just the most incredible trip from start to finish. I couldn’t have picked a more amazing group of women to of shared the experience with. We laughed so much and got on so well that we are all planning to continue the adventures onto another trip. It couldn’t have been possible without our superb host, Frankie, who went above and beyond to make sure we were having the best time together. She looked out for everyone, helped whenever it was needed and just did all the organising/thinking for us so we just needed to turn up and be present which was such a treat. The venue, Venabu, is a lovely family run hotel with a warming friendly vibe. The food is incredible and very much needed after a long day learning to ski; which is such great fun if you’ve never tried it before. The trip also included yoga, dog sledging, a horse sleigh ride and a dip in the frozen lake. All the activities were really well organised and just added to the incredible overall experience. I doubt I would have had such a good time had it not been for the organisation and thought that Gutsy Girls put into their trips. If you’re thinking of booking, don’t hesitate, just go for it! Honestly, words can’t do this trip enough justice, you need to experience it for yourself!
