I ordered some skirting boards
I ordered some skirting boards, good product for a very good price, delivered in perfect condition within the frame of 7 working days, brilliant!
The only reason I don't give 5 stars is about communication: I got an email of confirmation the first day saying I would be informed when it's on its way, but actually I haven't received anything else until the delivery so I didn't know what day and what time they would arrive. Plus I needed a date to book some other works after in the house, so this lack of information has been a little bit tricky to manage. But that's the only "issue" otherwise it's perfect

Placed order
Placed order, your Company rang next day to say it was an old brochure and no longer supply the size I required, but did source different doors for me! Now awaiting delivery or confirmation to when they arrive!

Ladas Drive branch staff attitude
The Ladas Drive branch emailed me to tell me that my order was ready to be collected. When I arrived to collect my order told by one of the staff that they didn't have it in stock. I was given no apology. Instead the staff member said " what do you want me to do about it". Also in the store they allowed a customer to go around the shop swearing loudly. He actually walked around the counter into the staff area. To put his own rubbish into the staff bin. Disgraceful customer service. At least one of the staff had the decency to refund my money back into my account. As I asked to be refunded as I in good conscience could not give my money to be treated as if I was in the wrong for questioning why was I told to collect my items. If the stock was not available in the store.

We completely understand your frustration at receiving confirmation that your order was ready for collection, only to be told upon arrival that the items were not available. We appreciate that this was both inconvenient and disappointing, and we apologise for the poor communication and the way the situation was handled by our team.
The comment you received regarding what could be done about the situation is certainly not the level of customer service we expect from our staff. We also take your comments regarding the behaviour of another customer in the store seriously. Customers and staff should be able to enjoy a safe, respectful and professional environment.
We are pleased that a member of our team was able to arrange your refund, but we recognise that this does not undo the frustration caused by the experience.
Your feedback has been noted and will be shared with the relevant branch management team so that the issues you have raised can be addressed. We are sorry that we did not provide you with the standard of service you should reasonably expect from us.
Building to a budget on a budget…
The range of products available is excellent and for the small customer the option to buy in smaller quantities to suite is great. Being able to order in the required quantity minimises wastage and makes small projects cost effective.
Easy ordering system and delivered at a time that suuts best.

I had expected a text before arrival
I had expected a text before arrival, but luckily I was here. Got 3x 750kg bags of top soil that was good quality and the driver was very pleasant and helpful.

Great team on deliveries
Great service from Haldane Fisher. I had quite awkward drop-off location that the initial delivery truck couldn't fit into. The team were really nice about it however - and didn't give up. They came up with a solution involving sending a smaller truck / crane - which they did so speedily and and then managed to skillfully get it into the desired location (saving me a full day of back breaking wheelbarrowing in the process!)
