Halo Renewables Avis

Just had my solar panels and battery installed by Halo. The team worked hard, were polite and respectful of my house, they did a great job and had everything fitted and working much faster than I expected. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Halo - and I've already asked them to quote on another project.

Halo have been great from first contact until completion. Matt responded to any queries I had, and was more than adaptable when I requested a change of manufacture for my battery and Inverter.
The panel installation team of Tomaz, Ashton & Riley, and the electrician Bradley were great. Readily answered any questions I had, and left everything neat and tidy, and I thank them for their hard work.
Tommy and the accounts department supplied all the relevant certs and insurances, the day after installation, so that I could register system with my energy supplier.
All in all a good experience.

I highly recommend this company. Matthew clearly explained the entire process, covering many details before the installation. The team did an excellent job during the installation and provided valuable advice on how to get the most out of the system.

Many thanks to the entire team!

Matt and the team have been fantastic. I have now installed a battery and solar panels with them, and I could not be happier. Their fees are transparent, and their work is excellent. You can also request specific product brands, which is a huge bonus! I highly recommend them as a company, and I want to extend a big thank you for all your hard work and exceptional service!

Great from quotation to completion
30 panels and 30kw of battery system, great polite and clean fitters .
Spoke to many company's, we t with halo as hard pushy sell , just honest advice .
Would recommend halo to anyone looking to get solar.

Halo where brilliant from start to finish. Had 6 quotes from company's for my solar and battery installation while not the cheapest halo where definitely the most knowledgeable. Lawrence was brilliant at explaining everything in the survey. Matthew was there to answer any questions I had which was plenty. Installation was only 1 day which was carried out by Tomaz and Bradley both fantastic tradesman. Very tidy and neat with the cable runs. Would recommend Halo Renewables to anyone wanting Renewable energy.

From the start a pre survey was done at our home , and the communication and product choice options and installation knowledge experience was spot on, Tailor made to suite our home and Budget, really competitive and a lot cheaper than the other 3 companies were I got 3 quotes.
Also Halo have been doing this for while. With great reviews , also have vast history with installation and products. So any unforeseen problem solving issues on the day made it a breeze to resolve . Not that we had any.
Being a large family of 8, we needed a system which could support our heavy usage . We opted for 32 solar panels and 2 qty powerwall 3 with a gateway fitted in the cloak room .
The 2 powerwalls 3 were fitted on the external garden wall. Plus Tesla Ev charger which was fitted and cables hidden with perfection , The Mains cable feeding the 2 powerwall and data cable was approx 50m away from the main dwelling . Cable installation was really tidy and secured all the way around the boundary correctly and secured with wall plug and screws every 10” apart in a straight level line. Bradley the electrician took all most all day installing this. Solar panels were fitted as per my layout request on the days and I was so impressed with the same quality of the installation. Care taken on the roof with tiles and every thing went back correctly and secured. Cables were hidden really well, can’t see any cables …👍🏾The whole installation took 3 days and the experience was honestly brilliant 🤩. I’m so glad I used Halo Renewables as they went above expectations and quality of workmanship and trust, It was a great experience. I would 💯 percent recommend Halo 😇. In the last week I have been of grid for 4 days 🤫🫢 should of done this a while ago. The other habit i find im all ways checking the Tesla App of current usage and battery level.
Lastly a big thank you to Matthew great honest advice and helped me with a few unforeseen issues. He went out his way to deliver what he sold 🫡. Scaffolding went up and was down with in 7 days. Great service all round.
So if your thinking of getting Solar don’t hesitate to call Halo Renewables or at least get a quote ..

From the beginning, the advice and support provided by Matthew to select the right system was excellent. Tommy made the purchase process and booking nice and easy. The fitting team (Thomas and Bradley) were very professionals and made a great job. Also, the pricing is very competitive.

Excellent service from Halo Renewables. From our first phone call to them and subsequent home visit, Mathew was able to answer all of our questions and queries, the communications from Tommy in the office were spot on - keeping us informed on the DNO application and booking the install date. Bradley and Thomasz, the installers, were 1st class and provided a 5 star install - nothing was too much for them. The scaffolders were top notch too - set up at 7:30am and removed by 3:30pm the same day!!

I can thoroughly recommend Halo Renewables for your Solar and Battery installation - best price and best service!!!

Halo Renewables supplied and installed my solar panels and battery pack. The entire process from start to finish was very professional. Even the scaffolding installation was very smooth and efficient. They removed the scaffolding immediately after the panels were installed. There cost is very competitive and I’m glad I’ve used them after receiving serval other quotes. They are highly recommended.

I had my solar system and battery installed by halo renewables and I am very happy with it. I spent about a month gathering quotes from several companies who all recommend different equipment. Halo quoted for 15kwh ecoflow powerocean battery 6kw inverter and 16 solar panels fitted to 2 separate elevations. The quote was very competitive and cheaper than most of my quotes. The panels fitted are aiko brand which are in my opinion a good choice. The ecoflow battery had a 15 year warranty which was a big deciding factor for me, also the batteries are heated and have fire suppression built in. On day of install, considering the layout, I decided that I would like an extra panel to complete the look. The installers Bradley and Tomas fitted the extra rails to accommodate the extra panel, 2 days later they returned to fit the extra panel. The install was quick and efficient and very neat and tidy ( I am an electrician myself, so I can positively say that the install is as it should be). Bradley put in alot of effort to ensure I had minimal cable surface mounted to the external of my house which I was very impressed with as he definitely did not take the easy route.
I did have an issue a few days after install where the RCD tripped out. I contacted the company owner and he was very quick in his reply and organising a return visit to replace the RCD, due to this I can also say that I am very happy with the after sales service so far. The electrician has also personally followed up with me to make sure all is still ok.

The ecoflow app is very good and very user friendly compared to other app I have seen/used. I also have 8 tigo optimizers on 1 string of the system that are all working well.

All of my certification and relevant documents was sent to me by email within a few days after install so I was able to apply for SEG quickly.

Overall I would recommend halo renewables to anyone looking for a future install.

I was referrred by a friend to Matthew from Halo Renewables for a quote for a solar panel, battery and inverter system. The quote was the most value and competitive offer out there. I was worried about the installation wiring due to being a mid terrace. The cabling was superbly done with it being taken underneath the floor to make a superb finish. The workmanship was excellent and the guys were neat and tidy with their work and explaining how everything worked. I've already recommended them to my network.

I highly recommend Halo Renewables for your solar and battery installations. They were very professional, helpful, knowledgeable and above all they did exactly what they promised, without any issues and made sure after they had finished the job all was left tidy and in good order.

The scaffolding went up a couple of days before the install date.

On the day of install I couldnt beleive how quick it took Halo to complete the job, they started just after 8am, installed 15 panels (with all the fittings etc) with a 10Kw battery and 6Kw inverter, and the system was fully working by 1pm. Two days later the scaffolding was removed.

The system has now been running for over three weeks, and its been working without any issues, the only issue has been caused by clouds ⛅️ bring on the summer ☀️

Halo Renewables also provided me with the best quote! After my experience i just dont know how they can do it cheaper as their service was absolutely first class. Some of the other quotes i received from bigger national companies were 3k more expensive and were for either less panels or a smaller battery! 🤔

If you are thinking about getting solar installed give Halo Renewables a call and speak with Matthew, you won't regret it 😉

Very happy customer with the solar panel set up from Halo. The work was done within a day, and the aftercare has been marvellous.

I am absolutely thrilled with the solar and battery installation carried out by Halo Renewables. The entire process, from start to finish, went like clockwork. The team that conducted the installation worked exceptionally hard and made sure to consult me on the positioning of various components, ensuring everything was done to my satisfaction.

Moreover, I received all the necessary documentation very quickly, which allowed me to promptly apply for the SEG tariff. The efficiency and professionalism displayed by the team were truly commendable.

I would highly recommend Halo Renewables to anyone considering such an installation. A huge thank you from us for the excellent service.

Once again I'd like to thank Tom for coming to the rescue. The idiots at GivEnergy once again messed up my system and Tom has set it back up correctly. I would thoroughly recommend Halo Renewables as a very reputable company.

After placing an order with Octopus that unfortunately turned out to be a bit more complicated than expected (Octopus installer requested that the fuse isolator needs to be installed by an external electrician as Octopus installers aren't able to install one and apparently UK law requires one!)
I called Halo Renewables and after a short chat with Matthew I placed an order for a Hypervolt 3 Home Pro.
Great value, fast installation and a very polite customer service from everyone.

The only thing that could be improved a little is Matthew's communications as I needed to message him a few times to get any updates about the timeline of the installation.

Overall a happy customer and Halo Renewables come highly recommended!

Excellent service and very very competitive price. I just had my installation done. Within 10 days installation took place. The director Mathew is very calm and great person. Very responsive to the Facebook messenger. Member of his team are very great too.

Just got around to writing the review. Had my 16 solar panels and 15kw Ecoflow batteries installed 28/10/24. From start the finish it has been a smooth ride. Halo was recommended to me by a friend. Matt was alway available on the other line even when he was on holiday in Dubai. Tommy was helpful and had my certificates turn around within a week. I had 10 quotes including the big boys and my local council run scheme and Halo and another installer came out head to head and it was difficult choosing between them however halo won through with offering Ecoflow batteries over GivEnergy batteries. The scaffolding went up over the weekend and the ground team Brad & Tomasz arrived Monday morning at 9am and had all the work done by 6pm. The guys were very professional and knowledgeable they even helped clean my gutters and assisted me putting gutter guards on after they had completed the installation. The only gripe I would have is that they didn’t clean up completely and I found nails and wiring for weeks afterwards and having a dog this wasn’t ideal however I would still recommend Halo and will use them again as I plan to have additional batteries installed in the future. A very trustworthy and professional company and deliver what they promise and no hard sales. The scaffolding team were great and took it down within a week of the work completing.

Harminder

System has now been working for 8 months and is running well and I am now exporting as well. Haven't had any bother
Mathew and Tommy are always on hand to give advice when needed as this is my second review I thought it would be good to do an update
Would use this company again if I ever have to move
