Extortionate electrical charges.
In instructing this Company to provide an EIC, I was informed that substantial extra works were required to make the system compliant, to which I agreed.It was not until later that I found I’d been charged 10 times the normal amount for several standard items eg a simple light switch, costing £10, ex-labour, was charged at £225!
This was the last of many problems with this company, which they always deny. Go elsewhere.

We are sorry if any part of the quoted work was difficult to understand, but the section you refer to here was worded "Item 12: To remove the faulty light switch and supply and install a light switch. Price £225 + VAT". If this was not clear enough in its inclusion of labour costs then we can only apologise, and wish you all the best in the future.

Unstable Toilet Seat. Contacted Wednesday afternoon, good email booking correspondence. Handyexpert then arrived next morning. Provided 45 minutes notice of arrival. Turned up and rectified the toilet seat in 30 minutes, back to good condition. Able to advise on loose tiling above toilet. Very good result, would use them again if needed.

Contacted HandyExperts to check a faulty smoke alarm. Straightforward booking process. Engineer showed up on time and the job was completed within an hour including diagnosing and replacing the faulty alarms with clear explanation.
