I went to Harper Tait because I wanted to create a unique, bespoke engagement ring rather than buying something off the shelf. It was the best decision I could have made. George is clearly passionate about his craft. He guided me through the design process with creativity and incredible attention to detail, helping me source the perfect stone and refine every aspect of the setting. The communication throughout was excellent, and the final product is a testament to his skill. If you want a piece of jewellery that is truly one-of-a-kind, look no further than Harper Tait. An absolute 10/10 experience.

Excellent experience! George was great at helping us chose our wedding rings, very friendly and super fast. Even got my ring resized on the same day, as it was a tiny bit too tight for me. Would 100% recommend!

We stumbled across Harper Tait place after reading that it was one of the most recommended spots in Hatton Garden. I wasn’t totally sure what to expect. You walk into this nondescript building, slightly unsure if you’re in the right place, and then suddenly you’re in this cosy little office.

George was calm, kind, and completely unhurried even though it was clear they had plenty going on. He made what could have been an overwhelming experience feel completely manageable. He talked us through everything, kept us in the loop at every stage, and genuinely seemed to care.

There’s something really comforting about feeling like someone knows exactly what they’re doing, especially when you’re buying something you’ve never bought before and (hopefully) never buy again.

We ended up going back for our wedding bands too. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

We never felt rushed, and really enjoyed the experience. They also did a fantastic job of cleaning my engagement ring recently, and again spent time to talk me through the process of checking it all. As with a lot of others, I didn't know anything about rings or diamonds before searching. I found Paul (Harper Tait Fine Jewellery) from a google search as they were the highest rated ones I could find - and I am so glad I went with them. Paul is extremely knowledgeable and walked me through the whole process, my situation was slightly different as was moving abroad - he didn't rush me and force me into deciding. I had multiple in person visits, then he advised me not to purchase if I didn't fully like it, which turned out to be the best decision as he then sent me new diamonds that came onto the diamond exchange each month based on my criteria. My fiance absolutely loves the ring, which was all down to Pauls service. Couldn't recommend more highly.

After years of suffering watching my first wife succumbing to bowel cancer, I found light beauty again in my new partner. We decided we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together and started to plan. Step one finding a ring and a jeweller, after a long process of searching the Internet and speaking to friends Hatton Garden was the place to go but where?? After reading the reviews I settled on contacting Harper Tait, George and Paul responded very quickly and were extremely accommodating. We set a date for an initial consultation and went through the process of selecting our materials. They were professional, polite very knowledgeable and welcoming. They were so well informed and that balanced with their friendly personalities made it feel like you were talking to a family member or a friend you knew since you were a teen. After selecting the right stone and band, arranging the setting I pulled the trigger. When I picked the ring up and saw it completed for the first time I nearly cried. It was beautiful and the stones characteristics made it sparkle and shine so much, this was testament to George and Paul's guidance. They were never pushy or forceful they were just what I needed to help achieve my task. When I proposed and showed my now fiancée the ring she was bowled over. Great job George and Paul I couldn't have asked for better service and a better outcome.

Couldn’t recommend George and Harper Tait highly enough! I’d been looking for an engagement ring for quite a while, but hadn’t found a jeweller I wanted to work with until I came across George. As it’s such an important purchase, I wanted to make sure I was working with someone I knew I could trust and George definitely delivered!

Paul and the team at Harper Tait have been excellent from start to finish. Whilst we knew we wanted a bespoke ring, we weren't sure precisely what we wanted it to look like, but Paul was so patient and spent time going through options and providing guidance and expertise on what elements of our design would work best with the diamond we were using. The end result is the most beautiful engagement ring that we couldn't be happier with. The whole process was made really easy with great communication and we're looking forward to seeing the team again in a few months time for our wedding bands.
