Still have no useable motor after 3 months from purchase date. Company said they have stock on website but 3 months later they have sent a wet used faulty corroded motor unit to me.

Fantastic product and customer service
Fantastic product and customer service! The Australian company representative was very well informed and provided the best advice and guidance so as to meet my boating needs. It was particularly nice to be able to talk over the phone rather than dealing with emails and AI.
The Cayman GPS Ultimate Package with 54inch shaft and 50lbs of thrust makes light work on the water. I'm super happy!

I bought my Haswing 24 Volt 1000 Watt Frontmotor in April 2024 , in June 2025 it stopped working and i registered a warranty claim at my haswing trader in Austria (vienna - Mobos Motors Vienna)
Now it is nearly September and i have still no working motor. They cannot even tell me if there is a substitute motor will be sent or spare parts will be sent (from the Haswing Partner in Spain - not Australia)
The fishing season startet in May and ends in 30th of September and so i could not really use the Motor in the second year.

Best service
My old haswing was having issues so I rang the guys at haswing Australia to get some advice to see if it was repairable or I have to get a new motor. The guy ran through my troubles, suggesting a number of problem solutions which I tried and all worked perfectly. Not only it is working like new but he saved me $2k by not having to buy a new motor 🙏 . Thank you so much.Regards Brett.

SPOT LOCK PROBLEMS
Haswing spot lock works fine on first location in the day, but when trying to use on second location it keeps taking me back to initial position and does not want to use 2nd location

Once you disengage spot lock, you can move to another location and engage spot lock again. At this point it has locked into a new co-ordinate. Could it be that you managed to move position but had not disengaged the first position? One beep is engagement, 2 beeps signals disengagement.

August 2023 The battery in remote for my motor died and the motor is unusable without a bluetooth connected remote. I tried to order a replacement remote and was told by Haswing outdoors that the remote was on back order and they would send me an email when the remote was available. no email ever came. March 2024, I emailed again, and was told that all the remotes were sold. When I asked why was I not emailed? As you can guess It was a "oh, we're sorry." Fast forward to today when I received the following email

So if the existing remote will not work and I’ve been advised by you and your team that the only option is to use the option provided. What is my option?

We suggested replacing the V00 version of the remote control before the manufacturer announced the decision to stop production of the first version since eldest version is way too old.
but as long as the manufacturer has stopped producing the V00 version, we can't offer you any other way but to replace it with the latest version of the motor.

So I spent $1600 on a trolling motor on a motor that is better used as a boat anchor. You’re telling me that I should spend another $1600 because you can’t support the original. No. This is ridiculous. Not an option. I want it replaced!
This is not my problem. This is your problem that has become my problem.
Do NOT purchase from this Haswing Outdoors and product any motor. These people should be out of business and charged

Hi Jay, sorry you had a bad experience with Haswing Outdoors in the US, however you have never had any dealings with Haswing Australia, a totally different entity and we pride ourselves in aftersales service.
I have passed you comments onto the US distributor and recommended that they address the issue without delay. Though your version of 50806 motor uses a remote based on 433 Hz and the newer version of that motor uses 2.4Ghz as the chip supplier is no longer making the original chip for the hand remote. And I understand you motor is over 6 years old.
I have stock of the 433Hz remote and have offered to supply one to the US distributor for you.
I would appreciate you removing this negative review from our website as we've never dealt with you.
