FAKE COMPANY

Ordered something 3 months ago..... no sign of it being delivered any time soon. Cant seem to contact anyone for a refund. They literally just selling stuff and taking peoples money......? This company needs reporting asap.

Shambolic company avoid

I can only second the other very poor reviews for Hausdirect. Desk ordered on 21st March 2021) and no sign of delivery (end of May currently). Impossible to get a response from anyone and the one time I have, the information provided hasn’t proved accurate. You get through to a reception desk but they can’t provide any information and the Sales team never call back.

As others have said, if a zero was available I’d have taken that option. Avoid at all costs.

Still awaiting a call back from customer service!!!
Awaiting a clock I ordered on 14/04. I want my money back now instead but can’t get to talk with customer services. Receptionist says she will ask them to try and phone back.... no call as yet. Sham company with very poor customer service. Don’t order anything from this company. Clock was in stock!!!! Where is it????

21 weeks and still no sign ?!

I wish I read the reviews before ordering from here. I had never heard of them but took the risk and I am regretting it now!
Placed my order on 2nd Jan 2021 and item had a 10-14 week delivery time online. I purposely ordered it on this date so that the delivery time would fall in line with my move to a new property. It is now 25th May 2021 and the item still hasn't arrived in the UK - let alone to me!
I have called repeatedly over the last few months and most times never get a call back and the receptionist has no customer service skills whatsoever.
I've had a couple of call backs from someone to give me an update on my order and when I express politely that it has been a long wait - he just says that others have had to wait a lot longer than me so I basically should not be complaining. Every time he provides me with an update it is wishy washy and the timeframes given never end up being the case.
It is now over 7-10 weeks beyond the estimated delivery time and I'm still waiting for the item to be sent to me.
The whole service has been awful and I'm so worried to actually receive the item after reading the other reviews as I don't have high hopes at all!

Avoid Haus Direct to save yourself a lot of time and hassle

I wish I had read the reviews on here before ordering from Haus direct. Like many others, I ordered a desk with a 6-8 week delivery time frame and it hasn’t arrived. Customer services doesn’t exist, they don’t reply to any emails and if you can eventually get through a woman answers and says the team is busy but will ask them to urgently call back. Well guess what...they don’t.

If I could give a 0-star rating I would… Ordered a product back at the start of February, it had a 6-8 week order window which was fine. This came and went quite fast. During the process, I received no update from the customer service team who I imagine was being bombarded with similarly disgruntled customers. I was told on numerous occasions when I eventually could get through to the customer service department on the phone, (any time I emailed I was blatantly ignored) that It would be dispatched next week. Well, next week never came and It's now nearly the end of May. I have finally decided to cancel my order after possibly the most horrendous customer service experience I have ever been a part of. I have now got to wait up to a further 28 days for a refund! An absolute joke of a business. Do yourself a favour and steer clear of this business and service. They are low ratings on most review platforms for a reason. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Absolute sham of a company. No sign of goods, so cancelled order, and they turned up two weeks later and took our money. No way to get in contact to return them.

Look, I get it... it’s the 21st Century every company with a fantastic website is expected to be the next Amazon, next day delivery and exceed all expectations.

Cut them a bit of slack. Just because they look proper, does not mean they employ 400 people to cater to your instant needs, hold thousands of items in stock or have a dedicated team to keep an eye on your order from payment to delivery.

I ordered a cabinet, read the reviews, though they were responsible for some crimes against humanity, eventually have them a call just to make sure they were legit. They have one receptionist who is charming and has to deflect calls probably because of the sheer volume of calls created by negative reviews. Yes... my item turned up 4 weeks after it was expected but it’s genuinely lovely, delighted with it.

I think everyone just needs to chill out and accept that they are doing their best in pretty adverse business conditions and you whining about it doesn’t help and only gets everyone else wound up. You want something quickly, go to John Lewis or IKEA.

This company absolutely stinks......

This company absolutely stinks of poor service. Actually based from a dingy corner shop in the north, they pretend to have lots of stock (weirdly their product stock volumes never appear to change?!). Ordered a product and cancelled within hours when I suspected that they didn't actually have ANY stock. They clearly simply take your money then source the product which means you wait ages. Better to go direct and avoid these children playing at business from a terraced house front room!

Awful company

Awful company - avoid. Placed an order and paid - but still awaiting a delivery date. Tried calling and only the receptionist answers - promised call backs from the customer service team but you hear nothing. Scam.

Similar disappoint to a lot of the other reviews…

Similar to a lot of other reviews on here, I ordered a desk and single seater arm chair on two separate orders on 6th Jan 21 and 1st Feb 21. Communication has been absolutely shocking as when i've called up, i was told customer services were busy and i'd get a call back right away - i had to chased for 2.5 weeks to get a call back, just to get an update on an ETA. For both items where the website was telling me the desk would be delivered within 4 weeks and the chair was in stock for immediate shipment.

Turns out what they mean by immediate shipment is that they drop ship ALL of their stock, meaning everything comes directly from their suppliers which are all over the world!

The desk should have been 4 weeks lead time and it took just over 2.5 months to be delivered. The chair should have been 2 weeks and still hasn't been delivered and I'm still chasing an update for an ETA, 11 weeks after ordering...

Massive shame that they can't get their supply chain and customer services in order as the desk is actually really good quality and I'm really happy with that item.

Ridiculous

Ridiculous, ordered my item in December and after multiple attempts finally spoke to someone in February who told me it would arrive soon. It is now April and low and behold it isn’t here and nor can I contact them, even for a refund. Wish I had looked at trustpilot before ordering. Any good reviews definitely fake.

Without doubt one of the worst companies I’ve ever dealt with. Have had my money for 4 months, excuse after excuse after excuse. Get promised a refund and they don’t give it. Constantly having to chase them.
Terrible customer service.

This company is a total scam, do not give them your money!!!

I have been waiting since November 2020 (it is now April) and have not recieved any update whatsoever, not even an email confirming the order has been processed. They have not responded to any emails nor have they replied to a cancellation request I sent 4 weeks in and I am still waiting for anything from them. They were quick to take the almost £180 and ran! I would give it less than 1 star but I am unable to.

0 stars. DO NOT order from this company. Ordered a desk end of July, which arrived end of September and was faulty, and have had no response from customer service to resolve this. They don't answer the phone, and don't respond to emails but you have to pay upfront. SHOP ELSEWHERE!

Order not received

I ordered the Godess Console table 2Dec20. Full payment was made at this time. I have not received my order neither has their been any attempt to contact me. I have called their customer number and I was assured contact would be made. This has not happened. I have also had no response to two emails. I am now forced to make a claim through Barclaycard. I’m not sure what kind of retail operation this is however it is evident that they have serious issues with their supply chain and customer support

Was ignored by customer service, product took months to arrive, and then FELL APART in less than six months. Company will not honor 12 month guarantee

I purchased the Dean coffee table last summer, which is marketed for outdoor use. Firstly, while it was in stock when I ordered it, the weeks and then months went by (pre-Brexit) without delivery, a single update, and most worryingly, not even answers to my enquiries into its status. It finally arrived 2 months later...missed using it all summer, but ok.

I've had it now for six months and it is absolutely unusable from from being outside and has been for some time...clearly not designed for outdoor use as marketed. Since the piece is also sold on its page with a 12 month guarantee, I contacted customer service about my options...again, my enquiries were ignored until I threatened a bad review...and was told that the warranty would not be honored because it was only suitable for occasional use outside in good weather. To me, that's called Regular Old Indoor Furniture, and should have never been marked as outdoor furniture all over its page on the website.

I am sorry I didn't read all these reviews earlier (and am I the only one who thinks some of these 5-star reviews seem fake?). After my experience and some research, I can confidently say that if you're looking at the Dean coffee table save yourself the money and time and get a similar-looking table made of cement or fiberglass that can live outside without getting trashed...La Redoute, Wayfair, and Made all have options of comparable price, and much much better customer service.

* I don't think it will work, but I'm trying to embed a photo here so it can be seen what a mess it is after less than six months.
