This is the worst UK company I have seen... no communications no refund.
This company is a total fraud in the UK, its time for taking some legal action against this company.
No sign of the order and no customer service
So far we've had a terrible customer experience with HausDirect.com. We ordered a desk back in July with a 4-6 week supposed delivery timescale. The money was taken immediately but now we're a day away from September and there's no sign of any desk. I've emailed and left messages on their answerphone over the last few weeks but never had a reply. I'll give it another few days but then will be contacting my credit card company to try to get the money back. Based on our experience, I'd avoid this company if you want the goods that you order to actually turn up.
Worse experience in my 25 years of online shopping
The website should carry a health warning, because ordering from hausdirect.com is bad for your blood pressure and your mental health. You are enticed by great offers, free delivery and instant availability but the reality is totally different. They are quick to take your money then your order disappears into oblivion. And don't bother emailing or calling the customer so-call "service" as it doesn't exist. Finally, don't be fooled by the positive reviews posted here. There is no accountability or proof of purchase required to write these messages. Anyone can give five stars or write glowing reviews about this dreadful company. You can tell the five-star reviews are fabricated because there is no meaningful range in the satisfaction rate: you get the genuine 70% of customers giving a well-deserved one star, then 25% mythical shoppers describing a fanciful five star experience. They are so incompetent, they cannot even concoct a plausible story!

Horrendous company
Terrible. Ordered table 6 weeks ago but not received desk or any status update. Been calling and emailing everyday for 2 weeks but they have no interest in responding!!! If you want stress, order from Hau’s Direct!!! Never never again. Worst company I have ever dealt with.
Poor customer service and delivery
I ordered an expensive furniture item from Hausdirect in july with a stated 2 week delivery time. We are close to sept but no communication or even acknowledgement from the company all efforts to contact gone waste. No reply to email and messages left on VM have no reply and call centre is actually a message collection service not a call centre.
Never ever ever deal with this company... based out of Fakenham and probably fake.
Absolute nightmare
I ordered a desk (on stock) on the 20/06/2020 and as of today (20/08/2020) I still have not seen it. They took the money straight away and since then, no one has being able to give me updates about the order. Not a chance to speak with the customer service over the phone, plenty of emails sent without reply, so totally unacceptable. I received all items for my home office except the desk, so I’m really fed up.

Orderd a bed on the 5th June for over £500, no emails nothing so I have been ringing constantly , which puts your through to a switch board person , who trys to call the sales "team" but never picks up ... You get told a note will be put through and you will get a call back .. ( never happens) On my 500th call someone's finally picked up told my bed is at the depo they will call me back within 24 hours .....
Oh my goodness what a shock !!!!!! No one has called me back it's now been 48 hours guess I start calling the switchboard again and go through the whole cat and mouse game again ! What a joke !!!!!!!!! I get it covid but come on communication please this is ridiculous!

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Theuy said a console table would be 4-6 weeks. I am now in week 12 and nothing. Customer Service useless and arrogant. Terrible. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER.

Ordered a desk 11/5/20. Money taken 12/5/20. Cancelled order on 01/06/20 as no customer care and past expected delivery date. Desk delivered on 17/07/20 despite me cancelling the order. Now they will not pick it up or issue a refund and it's the 18/08/20. Terrible service!
Even allowing for Covid, this is poor.
I know Covid has caused disruption and you expect that. However, you would eexpect the basics to be already in place. Many businesses have nailed customer service during this time, gone online when they weren't before and others have kept customers updated. Haus Direct do not answer the phone, do not respond to emails and the order cancel links do not work. We ordered a large garden bean bag in April (in stock when ordered) which still has not arrived. It is now August 17th. They can take payment very quickly though.
Shocking. However, we do have plans to redecorate our house so I am glad we now know how useless Haus are, as we will not be buying anything else from them.
Disruption is to be expected in 2020, but oher companies limited the number of orders they would take at any one time, other companies worked very hard at keeping customers updated. Haus took the order, took the money ........ and that's about it.
I'd give 0 stars if I could.

Ordered a piece of furniture for over £600. 4 weeks later i have called, emailed, filled in their online form and all remain unanswered. Will be cancelling and needing to claim back the costs because i cannot get in touch with anyone and the money has gone to them.
Website looks good, furniture looks good but the customer support is none existent it seems.

Good service and great products
Disappointed to see so many reviews on here when I had a great experience with Haus. Through no fault of theirs, my order from the company who actually makes the product was delayed to the point where I had to cancel. Haus were great over the phone and very friendly and professional. My refund was processed quickly and back in my account so I can’t fault their process at all. I would definitely purchase from them again! Friends have since bought items and were impressed with the products and service offered too.

No doubt the WORST company we have ever come across! We waited well beyond the stated 4-6 week delivery time before trying to get in contact to get an update on our order. We had to call time and time and time and time again and NEVER received the call back we were promised and NEVER received any replies to our emails. Their hold music haunts me now. After waiting over 8 weeks with no delivery in sight, we tried to request a refund and that was equally as painful. PLEASE AVOID to save yourself a load of stress and hassle.

Ordered a desk in May. Tried to contact the company countless amounts of times, by phone, email and even through social media and still no delivery date. Kept telling me that someone would call back which they never ever did. In the end we had to contact our bank to get the money back.

Just like every other complaint on here, I ordered a desk back in June, I emailed them about 10 times, called them 5 times and no one ever returns my calls or replies to my emails. I'll be contacting my card company to get them to refund me, because this company is a joke.
I am extremely disappointed…
I am extremely disappointed by the unprofessional service from Hausdirect.
The shortish version is:
I ordered a £300 bookcase on 26th May.
They took my money on 29th May (after order confirmation stated, money would not be taken until dispatch and an email would be sent at this point confirming delivery date).
4-6 week wait was expected, so I waited until July 3rd to email for an update.
No response and no email.
Emailed again 8th July.
No response.
Called 15th July and was told someone would call me back.
No call.
Emailed on 19th July.
No response.
Called on 21st and 22nd July and spoke to someone else.
Full blame was laid on their distribution company (XDP), who they said they don't even use during a Bank Holiday. Well, don't use them during a lockdown then. It isn't that hard, if they can't be trusted - don't use them, use someone else.
Or take responsibility.
I was told they'd chase up and call back on 27th, but most likely they wouldn't respond or product would not be found.
Great, but by this point - they've had £300 of my money for two months.

I called again today, and no response. Still all XDP’s fault apparently.
I’ve asked for a refund, and have email confirmation of such. But it takes three days to show in my account, so I wait with bated breath.
I asked what their complaints procedure was – apparently, it is to email the customercare at hausdirect.com. This is the same email address that I contacted previously with no response. It was then suggested I also email the sales at hausdirect.com address. I cced this in the my latter two emails. No response.
Still, I will email a copy of this review to them and hope someone deigns to read it.
I hope they realise that however swanky their website looks, it’s no substitute for professionalism, courtesy and actually providing the product!
