I was on hold for one hour and a…

I was on hold for one hour and a supervisor never came on line. I have of yet to get silver fit code so I can go th the gym. I join July first and they still haven’t send my information to silver fit . Very poor customer service service . You can’t talk to anyone else they take your number and they might call you or not . In my issue they did not . I regret changing to this Healthspring insurance. My agent should be ashamed for selling it to me.

Believe the Bad Reviews!

Called to ask a simple question while my application for Medicare supplemental insurance was being processed. Was on hold for over 30 minutes. When someone finally answered I was so mad that I demanded they cancel my policy. After being transferred twice I finally got it cancelled before it was effective. My past experience with Cigna had been good, but they seem like this Medicare Supplemental Insurance is a new market for them, and they have insufficient resources to handle the volume of calls. I'm sure they are glad they rebranded everything to this new made-up name: HealthSpring, so not to damage the Cigna brand, which WAS highly respected at one time.

Healthspring garbage

First let me start with if I could have given a 0 stars I would have. Send them a check to pay my fees of $262 and got a call from them saying I did not pay. Contact the bank and healthspring(garbage) and they told me that they cash the check but didn't know where the check or money was. Then they wanted me to do the leg work to find it. Customer service was the worse I have ever dealt with from the bottom to the top. Would go without insurance Before would use them again.

I have had nothing but frustration ever…

I have had nothing but frustration ever since I have had Healthspring! Very poor customer service plus you can’t get on their App.. the list goes on and in!I can’t wait until the end of the year I will definitely be switching to another plan!

Horrible insurance doesn’t cover a lot of things. Hospital stay very expensive couldn’t get an mri. My doctor had to call. Doctors treat me like I’m no body. It’s terrible what has happened to me. They never gave me the food I was promised. So when I came home n I had no food 911 brought me food. They don’t cover home health help I was told it did cover that which I need. I had spine surgery in March I’m hurting I can’t stand or walk for too long. They don’t cover to much. It’s horrible insurance. Poor dental. I have a list of things. No one cares. Doctors only insurance coverage. I’m not getting the medical help I need.

My wife and I signed up with…

My wife and I signed up with HealthSpring thru an outside company due to the their plan cost. Our home city was two words not one. My leagle name was not correct. The address issues was corrected by phone. My name fix required paperwork. That was accomplished. I wanted to pay by the year and not quarterly. I was to receive invoices to pay by mail. Neither a quarterly or annually invoice was ever received. I contacted HealthSpring to see if I could send payment by mail with instructions as to what the sent information and checks were for. I was given the address in Dallas Texas to send this payment to. I included a letter explaining what the separate checks were for along with a copy of our plan insurance cards. Each payment was in a separate envelope that was sent priority mail. The checks were processed, our bank paid the check amounts, but our accounts were not credited the amounts. I have been trying to solve this issue to date with the representatives I have been in communication with.To date no positive results. This process on paper looks simple but I can only assume there is no one with the intelligence to do simple tasks that my issue requires. Very sad to tell the truth. I have learned that you need to keep things at best ,child proof.

This is the worst advantage plan I have…

This is the worst advantage plan I have ever had. Customer service seems to read from some sheet never really helping. Prescriptions are much higher than other plans. They claim the give back program and I have waited 4 months only to be told I will have to wait another 30-90 days. I would definitely pass on this insurance!

This a disgusting and cheap unreliable coverage. You could take a roll motel toilet paper and write the plan. That would be rhe value of this company's plan. The customer service reps are basically rude and uncaring. I do not understand how cigna became a company like healthspring
Cigna was good. I can not say anything good about healthspring
They are cheap, uncaring, rude and dishonest. Their transportation company. Mtm has shown bad examples of service. Their automated phone needs to be repaired. It just keeps saying "sorry I didn't get that. The first trip with MTM the driver went to the wrong place to pick me up. I text a message to pick me up at the front of the building and she went to the back. I asked her if she got my text. She said she did not like my attitude and locked the car door and laughed at me and then drove off and left with no way home. Furthermore she reported that I had discriminated against her. What a bad experience for a first time ride with MTM Save yourself some frustration and disappointment and find another co.

Doesn't Address Concerns

This company's responses to complaints are laughable. I have been battling them over a Formulary Exemption for 2 months. The level 1 appeal was denied because my provider never received the proper paperwork from them. They then escalated the process to a level 2 appeal, but they would not accept the documentation sent to them by my provider. Fortunately, the drug that is on their formulary is an acceptable alternative to what I have been taking for 7 years. I gave up! My provider advised me that there would be no way that Cigna would ever give me an exemption. Another problem is that they are refusing to reimburse me for having to pay for a drug that should have been covered at the time I picked it up from CVS. Not even 3 months in, I want out! I will enroll in any Part D plan other than this fiasco. Horrible customer service. Corporate medicine at its worst!

Horrible company

Horrible company. There was even a fraudulent charge in my account, they NOTHING. Cigna was ok, Healthspring is horrible.

YOU MIGHT WANT TO AVOID HEALTHSPRING/CIGNA NOW

HEALTHSPRING/FORMERLY? CIGNA has OK licensed sales people, at least that we've spoken to so far. Of course they would at this point, they want to sell you stuff. After that it's gotten sketchy. Philippines customer service reps. which I'm getting REALLY tired of corporate America!! Howard, Harold, I don't remember, wasn't particularly helpful. Our agent was telling him what we wanted, he did what HE wanted, and shoved us off to the phone tree/hold hour long hell anyway. Didn't seem to listen to what he was being told. Actually, haven't really even gotten through that stage yet. If this healthspring is the same one that has taken over Cigna, not sure why it's not listed like that here?, YOU REALLY SUCK! The lady we've been working with has been very helpful. But now I can't get hold of her. ALSO, we have GUARANTEED ISSUE RIGHTS, CA birthday rule and another, supposed to be no questions asked, which apparently means NOTHING with this company!!! Speaking with a different sales person I was told ALL of this person's applications are held up that are Guaranteed issue. Cigna used to be good. They NEVER should have sold out. These people are asking health questions to even complete the application, not having a way to mark it GI, or are ignoring that, they're delaying through underwriting, which they aren't supposed to do. Seeming to be stalling until we are out of our GI period!!!?? Healthspring sounds like some name for a chinese company?? Wonder if Medicare or the state's insurance commissioner would be interested in the tactics we are being subjected to? Having a BAD feeling about what kind of care we will get this year with them-IF we ever get signed up!! NOT LOOKING GOOD!!
