Shrinkflation!
Have had this subscription for over a year and I have definitely noticed shrinkflation. The boxes have got smaller and smaller and now have less value for money. They tend to be aligned with the same brands all the time. I am not happy with all the non alcoholic drinks and soft drinks with artificial sweeteners and bags of sweeties and too many unusual hot sauce condiments. In the beginning, the boxes had high value items like chewable vitamins. Now, I just feel like I am being ripped off. It's a shame, as I enjoyed the surprise element.
Poor cancellation
Signed up for this box to give it a trial, I wasn't really impressed with this, so I wanted to cancel. Used the website to navigate me to cancel, which told me to email to cancel. So I emailed and cancelled which was fine, until Hello Yummy continued to attempt taking the payments (good thing I don't keep money in my main account). I got back in contact and near enough a week later I got a response saying it was cancelled and I could do this on the website which is completely false, as when I wanted to cancel the website told me to email for cancellation. Seems to be conflicting information with the website and the agents and no help with cancelling.
Update: I never logged into my account once I initially cancelled on the 14th, I had to get in contact a second time om the 17th to ensure this was cancelled as I was told on the 14th it was after I kept seeing bank ststements showing attempted payments, I never accessed the account until the 17th when I was advised that I could cancel on the website which you have now stated this only came onto the website on the 20th well after I asked to cancel.

It’s the best!!
I love my Helloyummy boxes! I hardly ever leave reviews but they deserve a better rating so thought I’d chime in.
I’ve had 4 boxes so far and each one I’ve been very happy with. Unlike other similar companies, I’ve not had any issues with deliveries, missing or misleading products. The products are always of high quality and well thought out, rarely is there something I wouldn’t have (minus the odd alcoholic drink or gelatin thing).
It’s my little surprise gift to myself each month :)
Ps. Anyone complaining about their customer service, subscription/cancellation just didn’t bother reading their website. Betsy has been a star!
Not impressed

AVOID. No way to cancel subscription. Non-existent customer service
Non-existent customer service. After receiving an incomplete and thoroughly disappointing first box, I tried to cancel my subscription which is impossible to do online. I sent an email, as instructed, on 9/4 cancelling my subscription. No reply. On 11/4 I received an email thanking me for ordering a second box for which I would be billed £15.99. I have sent further emails (there is no other way of contacting this company) and they are just being ignored. I assume this is a scam.
It is now 13/4 and I have still received no reply.

Had an offer of just paying delivery to try these boxes on a rolling monthly subscription.
Paid delivery and tried cancelling straight away after due to financial circumstances.
I’ve had an email back saying

Update
After my initial review, the company responded and confirmed that my subscription has now been cancelled and no further payments will be taken, which I appreciate.
Everything has now been resolved properly, and I’m satisfied that the cancellation has been handled correctly.
My initial concern was mainly around the delay in receiving a clear response when I first reached out to cancel, which caused some uncertainty at the time. I also have not received my first box at that point, so I not currently able to assess the product itself.
Overall, while the experience felt a bit stressful at the start, the outcome has been fair and everything is now sorted.

BE AWARE
Cancelling is a nightmare. Tried to take money all month and instead of cancelling when they couldn't. They just kept trying. They took 9.99 yesterday and tried to take 15.99 after I sent an email to cancel. I asked for my 9.99 to be refunded that I don't want the box but was meet with refusal and excuses. I don't want the March box. I want my money to be refunded.Be aware. I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE EXCUSES OF YOU SCAMMING MY MONEY. I DIDN'T AGREE WITH NOTHING YOU KEEP TRYING TO TAKE MY MONEY ALL MONTH AND AFTER TAKING 9.99 ON THE 31ST OF MARCH YOU TRIED AGAIN THIS TIME FOR 15.99. GIVE MY MONEY I DON'T WANT NO BOX THEY ARE RUBBISH AS I TOLD YOU WHEN I TRIED TO CANCEL.

Started our subscription in November after trying other boxes from different suppliers. Found the items to be excellent and a great choice. Would certainly recommend them to anybody.

Positive Feedback
My experience with Hello Yummy has been a positive 1. Betsy, rectified an issue within a day of me raising it - was a technical fault on the website that they corrected for me quickly & effectively.
I then let them know an item had been damaged in transit - this was more so they were aware and again Betsy went above & beyond to rectify it.
Nothing but praise for Betsy 😊

We like the surprises….
We have been getting these boxes for a while and like the surprise element, although that does mean that sometimes items aren’t things we would normally choose, but that’s part of the fun!
The most recent box was excellent, with recognisable brands and some new or more obscure options too.
The only downside for us is that we have tried new products which we can’t easily find locally, meaning a large on line order is needed if we want to have that item again.
If you are willing to try new products and are happy to accept an element of risk then I would highly recommend Hello Yummy Box. 👍 If not then probably best to purchase your preferred products from your normal outlet. 😆
