Unreliable Cleaners
I used Helping on and off for about year and half
The cleaners are self employed and Helping have no control over them so if they cancel last minute you are left stuck as they have no back up
If you cancel last minute which isn't fair either Helping will deduct funds from your card. This happened to me and I accepted even though for some reason I got a double booking
The insurance cover is not great with the first €500 not covered and trying to claim that back from the cleaner would be near impossible
If you have important cleans then you will have issues with unreliable cleaners and will be let down like me (twice in one week with a non appearance same day) and end up cleaning yourself
I wont be using Helping again for this reason as I need a professional cleaning company for my requirements.

As you explained, the providers are self-employed and this means that they have total control over their schedule and appointments.

Disaster
Disaster! Paid for 4 hours and nothing cleaned. Some clothes were shoved into wardrobe in bedrooms. I cannot get in touch with the company to cancel now and they are trying to charge 25% extra. Unable to get full refund also. Impossible to communicate with them. Total disaster

We are really sorry for your experience. This is definitely not the standard of the providers on the platform.
We asked more info to our colleagues of the support team and they told us that you immediately got the refund you asked through our resolution center and agreed with the cleaner (2hrs on 4hrs). You didn't ask her for a full refund, that's why it was just half.
We aren't trying to charge anything (all charges are from the cleaners not from Helpling), so we don't know what do you refer to with that "25% extra".
We know you are already in touch with the customer support, so we're confident that you'll find soon more clarity and the solution you are looking for!

Caique was very friendly and took good care of the areas I mentioned where the most important to me
Caique was very friendly and inmediately started working. He took care of the areas I asked in particular and left the bathrooms sparkling clean.
The platform is great because everything run smooth and organised.

Excellent cleaner at short notice
I really needed to get a cleaning person at short notice. I know from experience how difficult it can be to get someone trusted and verified and who doesn't make demands that your house be in a certain condition before they arrive. Helpling was brilliant, it gave me a choice of cleaners. Tamiris was excellent, she arrived on time and did a great job. Thanks Helpling!

Easy experience
It is a very easy process to use online - not mad about the app.
I have used 3 cleaners to date - (two were travelling) and the girl I am happy with.
If I list what I need doing in particular - she does with out a quibble.
It is easy to swap out cleaners as well if you are not happy.

only positive untill you face an issue not great customer service
I needed a cleaner urgently.. helpling was my to go service whenever i stuck finiding my local cleaners available
i was charged retrospectively without warning..
update : if you had closer look you will find many times of usuing the platform without any promotions..
it is not my problem that the cleaners aren't available for rebooking..
again not happy with the misleading responce for applying promtions as that is jot the case applying restrosepctive charge for cleaning that was done one month ago without warning isn't fair and not acceptable.
I had before multiple cancellation on the day of cleaning which was responded by apologies and promotional was as compansation..
i see inivting people to rate your service and then misslead them with charge back is not a nice way to keep you customers..
Please enjoy the extra 43 euro you deducted all of sudden of my account without warning but that it. i will no more dealing with service nor recommend as 1st you can't provide a regular cleaner .. cleaner comes with various level of skills and language level..
it drain energy to learn the cleaner your requirements and then they leave saying the place is far or what ever reason it is...
However i didn't change my address

UPDATE after change of review:

For the 2nd time in 2 months you were using a discount meant for recurring orders and canceling the order after 1 event.
The first time we let the code in your appointment because you created a new recurring after the cancellation but you knew that this would have been an issue otherwise. If a customer cancel because didn't actually needed a recurring order, we have to remove the code and charge the full amount. I think you can agree that we can't keep giving recurring discounts for what end up being one-off cleanings.
