The razer is perfect it does not matter how i shave the results are perfect love it The quality is also insane

Its a decent razor, made well. If you shave just your face or legs this is fine. This will save you money over multi blade razors. You will also get a slightly closer shave if you're good at it. For MOST people this thing is a waste of time and money. Try to shave anywhere that isnt already smooth by nature and you may end up visiting the ER.

I hold no real issue with the razor, short of the fact I don't feel it is what the marketing team says about it and it is not for me. Regardless, I am very upset, as I have now asked 3 times for a refund for the razor, only 40 days into the 100 day return policy, as I stated earlier, it's just not for me. I have not seen or heard anything and the first request was placed almost 2 weeks ago. Hoping this may help in some way, or help someone else.

I ordered their shaver it arrived quickly. I have been using it for about a month it is well built and very simple. I get a great shave and love using a fresh blade every time. The only complaint it’s expensive but I can see it lasting a long time.

Good old fashioned flimflam for the internet age. They liked to put their guys up their talking about engineering, but when I got it and put the razor blade in there, and I gave it a few shaves, it never shaved any better than the Harry's razor I normally use.

I still got razor burn, I still got knicks, and it couldn't get certain areas of my face no matter how I tried to run it. It was actually harder to use on my upper lip and just didn't provide that close-shave feeling that makes shaving worth it.

I even did some research on what other people were saying and it might come down to getting different razor blades as no one liked the ones it was coming with, but as a company selling me on a life-time razor I'm not some shaving enthusiast, I just hate my beard. I don't want to have to do research into blade types and aggression factors and which goes with what. I want to be sold a quality razor that can work with any blade, and I got sold something that's about as good as a bag of dollar-store Bics.

That would be enough to get it three stars, mediocre, oversold, not for me. Fair is fair. No... what gets it a point knocked off is the return process was really shady. You've got to contact them, then you've got to mail it back, the address and shipping service look sketchy and cut rate, but I spent around $26 dollars USD shipping back $90 worth of stuff, and believe me I made those people sign for it because of how disreputable it looked.

They sure want you to pay a premium price for a mediocre product and then make it onerous to return it so you say for get it.

Fantastic product, way better than expected. I was skeptical at first about the single blade system, I switched from a multi-blade razor subscription service and it has exceeded by expectations. Very smooth, close shave and love the replacement blades are so so cheap. One word of warning, avoid traveling with it in carry-on luggage, or take the handle off before traveling.

Not sure why there’s so many negative reviews. But my old razor broke. So I caved and got this one cause I liked the ads. I don’t get any razor bumps. And works with normal stainlesss steel razors.

Horrible customer service! They takes several weeks to respond to inquires on delayed orders and take 8-10 weeks to ship AFTER your first order. That's how they suck you in. Plus the razor is mediocre, not really that great at all. of course the low cost was the draw but if I still have to buy other razors because it takes months to get new blades it doesn't save me a dime.

I was in the market for a new razor as I was sick of paying for overpriced multi blades and thought I would dip my toe into the world of safety razors.

I purchased the Mild Henson razor off Amazon in Jan 26 and first off impressions were good, nice looking razor with a decent weight and good to hold.

First few shaves weren’t great it snagged a lot, I put it down to technique.. then I decided to order a sample pack of different blades from Amazon first one I tried was the Feather blades… WOW. They work great in this razor buttery smooth.

I try and shave every day but sometimes life gets in the way and if I have a bit of growth the mild is a bit too mild and a few more passes are needed but that comes with more irritation, I decided to buy the Medium and if I didn’t like it I could send it back.

Medium is way better for a few days growth, smoother shave way less irritation that the Mild and multi blade razors with a bit of growth.

Mild is great for everyday shaver and medium for a few days growth… with different blades.

I recommend trying different blades RK ones weren’t great for me.

I was looking forward to trying this after watching some marketing videos on it.

I gave it a fair chance. I watched all of their tips and tricks videos, and shaved with it 4 times now, and changed the blade after the first 2 shaves as well. I still don't like how this razor shaves.

Going with the grain, you just end up with really rough whiskers left. Then reapply water and shaving cream, and go against the grain... not good with this razor. Extremely time consuming, not smooth, and you will get more cuts and more skin irritation.

I even tried going against the grain to start, and forget that idea too. I don't care how you do it, slow and firm, with or against the grain, you'll be taking several passes if you want a semi-smooth shave. More skin irritation in the end.

I'm going back to multi-blade razors.

Horrible customer service, emailed them over two weeks ago about receiving a faulty damaged razor that is worth over $300 with zero response to any email.

Not worth the hype. Tried it multiple times but it Gave me bad razor burn Disposable shavers are much better. Their marketing campaign is sure working though. I fell for it I guess. Here’s your warning not to.

It took me a real long time to jump from cheap multi blades razors to Hansen Razor ; I have been reluctant because bad exprience from the past using older single blade razor which constantly cut you.
Last December I took the leap of faith and purchase one and had zero issue till today and love every day to shave , the experience is amazing and result perfect . To anyone who like me hesitate, just go for it ; to a friend I will tell him if you don't like it I take it back from you and pay for it! Those Hansen Razors are not at all as those 30 - 40 years ago , they are perfection!!

The razor itself seems great, very light and good in the hand. If you don't think it's that great, try other blades in it. The RK ones "specifically designed for Henson AL13" are pretty awful, snags on hair a lot.

Traded out for feather blades that I use on my normal razor, and it's much better. So the upsell of 100 of their rubbish blades isn't great at all, and is doing them a disservice.

Accessories are really nice too (stand and cover).

A problem with an order shipped to the wrong address was never resolved. There is no human support. It’s just stock phrases from AI. If you have problems or need support they will never answer.

Two issues: For one, their razor seems extremely overpriced compared to others of the same kind and likely quality according to online reviews. I'm led to believe this brand is just paying social media personalities to advertise their overpriced product to people who don't know better.
Secondly, the spam. I only put the razor into my cart to see the price, entered my email and was about to check out when I got suspicious and checked their trustpilot page where someone mentioned spam emails even without having bought or registered anything. I deleted the email from Henson's site and closed the tab without pressing anything else and - lo and behold - they had already added my email to their advert list even though I never actually "gave" them my email, they essentially took it while I was typing it. I got a spam email, unsubscribed and wrote this review. Would not recommend - 0/10, don't about the razors quality but it can't be worth 90 bucks.

I want to leave my experience...at the begining Iwas disapointed...it was good but nothing that blow my mined...now after about 2 monts of using I wana mention that I had 0 cuts 0 nicks 0 skin iritations on my neck aldo I dont use any aftershave...and most important I get nice close shawe of my head and I get there fast now that I earned all about angels...so 5 star to the company they are expensive but worth every euro

They need to get better logistics for their shipping. Took 3 weeks for my product to arrive. Didn’t arrive in time for my trip. Severely disappointed. The shipping company apparently had a problem with my address to which there was actually nothing wrong. They waited until someone corrected the address but due to lack of common sense they didn’t notify anyone of the issue.

Today I got my first Henson AL13 today all the way from the US, in record time I might add (Thanks DHL).

I had seen the adds previously but when I got a promotion code, so I could save a little money AND support one of my favourite YouTube channel, that I took the jump.

I have been very happy for years with Gillette Fusion but hated the price tag and how I for that reason perhaps used each blade a "little longer" that ideal.

So I was with anticipation that I just had my first shave and... I am not a man usually to be lost for words... But I mean WOW. So easy, so smooth. I probably have to get used applying much less pressure and only touching one area 1 at most two times. But that's what I would call a luxury problem.

After many years of using cartridge razor and getting irritated many times, I finally found my forever razor. Finally free from buying those expensive cartridge razors. I thought that the Al13 was the last razor I would buy. I was wrong. It was so good that I bought the titanium razor.
The only bad experience I had was with the RK blades. They didn’t shave well for me. I can imagine people transitioning from cartridge will have a bad experience with the RK’s. And they will think that Henson is not a good razor. The Nacet and Astra blades has been excellent and gave me the best shave. It is so smooth that I wondered if I put the blade in. Maybe Henson should have supplied a blades sample pack instead.
