Pay monthly until you know it's the platform best suited to you



Currently i am emailing the company regarding them taking payments from me for 2 years when i haven't even used the product.

I paid for coaching and platform. This actually wasn't really suitable for me and had i understood that at the beginning i wouldn't have done the coaching. Anyway i take that on the nose even though it cost £3k. But what i don't agree with is that they have taken another 2 years of over £400 for the marvelous platform. The issue seems to be their lack of response but also the fact that i have been ignored over requesting a refund for repayments. I have emailed again so lets hope i have a good thing to say about the company soon. I run a small company and there is no way i would withhold money from people if they hadn't received a service or experience with me. It's a no brainer and extremely poor business etiquette.

*i wrote the above review a week ago giving them a chance to respond to my email again which they haven't hence the review. It's awful when you just feel conned

UPDATE - since writing the review i have been refunded this year's membership. I gave the company time before i wrote the above review but didn't want to threaten i would write one so i gave time then went ahead. I'm grateful now that Hey Marvelous have refunded me for at least this year.

Sadly, I never got to use the platform so i cannot comment personally on how good the platform is to use.

Customer service is not responsive

I purchased a yearly subscription for a special discount, thinking this price was locked in for the future, but recently realized that I have been charged the regular rate for the renewal, without ever receiving a note about it. This year I have written to them in advance that I would love to switch to a monthly plan before my annual renewal and they simply ignored my emails and charged me the full annual plan. I have written 5 emails and still didn't get a response, what kind of customer loyalty and service is this? I pay 1200$/year for the 3rd year and this is how I am being treated? It sure doesn't feel good to be ignored like that.
As for the platform it's fine and I signed up because it was women owned and I wanted to support them, but for the price I pay I would expect more. Many features also don't work for me (like the well well well platform) because my business is located in Costa Rica and Stripe won't work there, only PayPal. So before signing up for Hey Marvelous check other platforms as well, especially for their customer service.

We really wanted to love this company…

[UPDATED] They finally gave me a refund, but it did take me feeling like I had to harass them via LinkedIn and through the messenger which didn't feel great, as well as disputing the transaction with my cc company.

We really wanted to love this company and platform - after all, it is women owned, and we are, too. We chose them over several other companies like Kajabi, because of the sheer fact of them being women owned. I accidentally purchased a year subscription (sent them a photo of proof of this, too), only to find out within a week that there's no direct domain connection, only subdomain, and I wasn't able to get anyone on the phone (they don't offer this) or email anyone directly. I simply got responses by chat. I asked for a refund within 9 days of purchasing the platform and hadn't done anything except connect the subdomain at this point. They refused. So I am $1,000 deep in a platform that doesn't even support my needs, and they won't give a refund despite knowing that we cannot use the platform and can't get the support we need. Chat only? What is that? I am a business developer who manages 7 figure businesses, I need to be able to get on the phone with someone and talk through problems quickly, not dip in and out of a chat for days on end to not even resolve anything. The platform is for yoga instructors, not course creators. Beware of using them, because if you can't get what you need, they still won't give you a refund. I am disputing the charges with my credit card company now - and not even for 100% of the amount, because I am fine paying for a month, but not 12 unused months. Wild. Also, why is every review on here from the first quarter of 2024? Seems like they sent out requests for reviews 🫠

The Hey Marvelous platform is exactly…

The Hey Marvelous platform is exactly what I need for my online yoga business. It has all the features I was looking for and is so beautifully presented and easy to use.

Along with this the team are so helpful!! Any request or question that I ask is always answered immediately and with so much guidance.

I'm so pleased I came across Hey Marvelous!

I've explored several online platforms

I have explored several online course/membership platforms. My experience with Hey Marvelous far exceeds all the rest — from features to customer service.

My Four Favorite Features
1. Traditional Course Feature (chapters & lessons)
2. Searchable Member Library
3. Private Session With Private Library For Clients.
4. Community with Push Notifications!

Courses:
Hey Marvelous allows me to provide traditional online courses with 'chapters' and lessons. I can offer downloadable handouts with my video lessons and audio lessons. I can even offer online classes to go along with the course. Like other platforms, these can be evergreen or limited to a specific time frame.

Membership Library:
This feature was vital for me and one that wasn't available with most other platforms. The searchable membership library is perfect for what I offer.

Private Sessions:
Like many coaches, I offer 1:1 Sessions and group programs. Hey Marvelous allows for easy scheduling and allows my clients to have a private space for me to share resources, notes, etc.

Community with Push Notifications!
I LOVE that there's a private community space. They recently added push notifications, which is a game-changer! With the push notifications, Hey Marvelous now acts almost like a mobile app. The only downfall with the community is the limitation of what types of posts you can share — as of right now, there's no way to embed videos.

BONUS: The Customer Service Is Excellent
The customer service at Hey Marvelous is by far the best I've ever experienced. There is almost always someone there to help via chat. And any issues or glitches I've encountered have been fixed quickly.

Marvelous is marvelous!

Marvelous is a beautiful, feature rich platform. I love it. It has elevated the quality of my online offerings in a major way and my students love it. I also love that the Marvelous support team is super responsive and incredibly helpful. I have nothing but good things to say about this company!

It turned around!

At first I felt frustrated as my question was "being addressed", but it felt like I was just getting pushed off as I kept hearing "we're looking into it", but then I would wait for 2 hours and not hear a thing. Finally, Marga stepped in and took things into her own hands. She did some digging and was wonderful with keeping me posted on where things were at - even when she had to follow-up with me Monday morning after a weekend of waiting. She promptly did so. I appreciated her follow-up. I had a clarification question and Gussi stepped in right away to answer it. Again, at first, I was feeling like I was floating in a world where I wasn't getting much help or updates on where things were at but when Marga took over, I felt much better! Thanks Marga!

Highly recommend

Customer service and online chat support is great! I can always reach someone to help if needed. It is totally the best. The platform is overall user friendly and straightforward to troubleshoot if something comes up.

One of THE best business decisions

Choosing HeyMarvelous as my booking system was one of THE best business decisions I have made. It's a comprehensive class and student management tool backed by a fantastic team who are better than brilliant. They are always there to answer questions, offer suggestions, and listen to requests. It was a fairly new-to-market system when I started my business, and I feel we have grown together. The system is regularly updated with new features and useful tools, oftentimes based on users' suggestions.
