It’s such a frustrating experienced dealing with them. I have a problem getting the medication prescribed to be covered, so I asked for a generic one. I can’t find anyone to call me back. If you call customer service you’ll find they outsource overseas and all they do is tell you to contact your doctor. And when asked to speak to a supervisor they’ll tell you there isn’t any. So now I have to suffer and hope after multiple messages someone returns my call. I can’t even switch to bother agency for a year because of my employer. This is a terrible way to run a business

This insurance is pure scam.their deductible is super high,copay as well.it has been 3 months now since I have this insurance and I still can’t find pcp,or any other specialist.i called customer service multiple time,and they keep sending me a list of providers that they are not in the network.really really bad insurance.

DO NOT CHOOSE OSCAR, EVER!!!

This is my 2nd review for the same issue. DO NOT, ABSOLUTELY DO NOT CHOOSE OSCAR FOR YOUR HEALTH INSURANCE PROVIDER. I had an annual wellness exam and they wouldn’t pay for routine A1C, cholesterol or Triglycerides blood test as part of the exam. A supervisor called me and advised those were not considered preventive tests and aren’t covered as part of the wellness exam. I reached out to the Marketplace and was advised that Marketplace providers are required to cover these tests. When I reached back out I was advised that those tests were covered however it doesn’t show that on my EOB and I did end up paying the bill. So I’m getting conflicting answers. Next steps for me is to file a formal complaint with the Marketplace, the insurance commissioner and our local consumer advocate with Action News. Now it’s the principle of the matter.

Irma at customer service was the rudest…

Irma at customer service was the rudest person I’ve ever came across. I called earlier but was transferred to the wrong department which kept me on hold for 40 minutes. I was trying to explain to her but She would not listen, even when I asked repeatedly to let me finish. She ended up hanging up on me. Worst customer service I have ever encountered. Stay away if you can.

I have called this customer service…

I have called this customer service number for 3 weeks,the agents will tell you everything but what you re not asking.Rude as hell,most can't comprehend or speak English.Others can speak English and don't know how to respond,so they filibuster or try hard to.This is horribly disturbing.

No care for health of customer

My husband had been waiting almost 2 weeks for a prior authorization for Mounjaro, a medications he had been using for 3 years. His doctor h dad supplied all requested information.

SCAM

SCAM! Their Broker stole my information and enrolled me into an insurance plan under OSCAR in Taxes and use of the government premium tax credits or subsidies on my behalf.

Oscar doesn't care about their clients!

UPDATE: Unreal - Oscar pretended to care & gave this case attention UNTIL they just stopped contacting me & dropped the ball! Oscar overseas agents are LIARS - STAY AWAY!!

Bad Experience

I’m 46 years old and my physician said Oscar was supposed to cover my insurance plan if I’m 45+ years old for a payment that costs OVER $900 but when I called customer service, they said I have to be 50+. I’ve been lied to several times. 1 star review

DO NOT GET THIS INSURANCE

If I could give them zero stars I would. I paid $360 for my daughter and I WITH NO INCOME, for them to cover literally nothing. I also cannot get someone on the phone to cancel and they keep charging me even though I’m not paying anything. I refuse. They are terrible. The only way to get someone on the phone is to pretend you’re enrolling as a new customer and once they get you on the phone they “transfer you” back to the main menu. Aka you cannot get a hold of anyone. Worst insurance company I have ever dealt with and definitely do not recommend.

Estafa empresa Oscar Limpieza

Esta empresa es una estafa total . Solo mandan a una persona , inviable para hacer una limpieza profunda . Nos tuvimos que a poner a limpiar con ella porque no daba abasto .
Ni productos de limpieza ni herramientas .
Te cobran un dineral , para que el trabajo sea lo mínimo .
Leer bien las reseñas antes de contratar , porque es una VERDADERA ESTAFA .
los pocos productos que llevan , marca blanca … ni aspiradora … nada !

Worst experience Ever

I just signed on to Oscar in January. I paid my monthly premium and I’m still waiting for my Medication. I called customer service because the Pharmacist stated they still haven’t replied. It’s been 5 days and still nothing. I’m giving them 5 more days, if I haven’t heard anything by then, I’m cancelling and contacting the Better Business Bureau to see if I can get my money back. Also, most Dr’s offices and Pharmacies won’t accept their insurance because of non payment! That should have been my red flag but I believe in giving everyone the benefit of the doubt.🤔

Fraudulent policies.

The situation with Oscar Health Insurance is not merely a personal grievance; it is a glaring example of systemic malpractice that undermines the integrity of the healthcare system. The company has allowed unscrupulous agents, motivated solely by commission, to exploit the marketplace, enrolling individuals without their informed consent. This is a blatant violation of ethical standards and consumer rights.

Despite having secured legitimate coverage through United Healthcare since 2023, I have been subjected to the unauthorized use of my personal information by these fraudsters from 2024 to 2026. Oscar Health's refusal to rectify this situation, despite clear evidence of fraudulent applications from 2024 and 2025, is not just negligent; it is a calculated disregard for the trust placed in them by their members.

This behavior is not just bad business; it is an affront to the principles of honesty and transparency that should govern the healthcare industry. Oscar Health claims to prioritize integrity and compliance, yet their actions tell a different story. They have failed to uphold their own Code of Conduct, which mandates ethical dealings and respect for member privacy.

I urge anyone who suspects they may be victims of similar fraudulent practices to take immediate action. Verify your enrollment status and ensure that your personal information is not being misused. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has acknowledged the rise in improper enrollments and provides resources for reporting such incidents. It is imperative that we hold companies like Oscar Health accountable for their unethical practices and demand a healthcare system that truly serves the interests of its members.

Poor service for health insurance plan

Poor Customer Service, I was trying to get prescription medication refilled for a three month versus one month supply and they said my request would be processed in three days. It’s been three weeks and I have heard nothing.
They also tripled their cost for the same plan going from 2025 into 2026 with not so much as an email.
Very willing to take your money yet will not follow up or reply to their actual customers

Have been with Oscar for less than 2 months and so many issues

Have been with Oscar for two months and already had three customer service issues including spending an hour on the phone trying to resolve a technical glitch on Oscar's end that refused to send approval to a provider, a crazy phishing/malware spam email, and the inability to log in to my account to make a payment. Would not choose again and look forward to switching plans when it's possible.

2/8/26 Update: still having issues with login. Spend at least 1 hour on the phone each time with customer service reps who can’t do anything to resolve the issue. I think I’d rather not have insurance than try to navigate this convoluted system that based on their mailing address is probably just a shell for a NYC VC hedge fund rather than legitimate health insurance.
