I don't know how a hospital in Oklahoma…

I don't know how a hospital in Oklahoma got ahold of this Stryker Aviator that is in my neck but something about the review that mentions Satan's chair (throne) seems to ring true about your products. I could go back much further on my date of experience than this website offers.

Abusive and Unprofessional Employees

Spoke to one of their employees out of Fort Worth the other day - His Name is Ryan Radcliff and when he did not get what he wanted he became abusive. It was bizarre. I would not trust a company that hires unprofessional and abusive employees. Hopefully, your company can find him the mental health treatment that he requires. I do not recommend this company

Stryker's hateful chair

I'm unsure how a hospital in Minnesota got their hands on Satan's throne, and yet here it is. The Stryker Symmetry Plus treatment chair operation manual boasts that the back reclines in "infinite" positions, but this is a cruel lie. The chair's creator really went above and beyond with BOTH nonfunctional mechanics AND the loudest vinyl fabric known to man. I tried slathering it with isopropyl alcohol wipes and setting it on fire, but the nurses kept interrupting me by coming in to check my son's vitals.

Stryker does not care that the HXLP…

Stryker does not care that the HXLP insert liners for the acetabular shell systems it produces do not offer sufficient durability or longevity to patients under the age of 60. The poly liners such as it x3 model line wear and litter patient's bodies with plastic particles that lead to inflammation and aseptic loosening or failure of their prosthetic hip replacements, further revision surgery is required to replace these suboptimal components. Development of improved insert polymer composition or the sequential irradiation and annealing process has stalled, Stryker appears to base its business model on the lucrative sale of revision kits and does not invest sufficient capital or effort to improve their product for patients in younger cohorts who require THR. I contacted Stryker on numerous occasions and questioned why they show little interest in developing and improving the acetabular liners as it's a weak component in their current hip replacement product line. Stryker US, UK and EU have all ignored the question and none of them replied. It is a discourteous company that is more interested in profit margins than manufacturing products that are actually fit for purpose and have sufficient in vivo survivability. Hip replacement surgery patients in younger age groups are basically receiving prosthetic hips designed for 70 year olds and they do not last, active younger patients will wear out an x3 liner in 10-12 years and then require further surgery to replace the worn and failed insert. This is not good enough and they are fully aware of the failings of the current poly inserts but development is stifled or has stalled because they do not wish to invest in upgrades when huge sums can be made from replacement parts. Patients do not want more surgery they want products that actually have sufficient longevity so one THR procedure is all they have to endure. Stryker is complacent, self satisfied and simply does not care.
If they had any interest in the recipients of their products they would have taken the time to respond.
It is a shame as their Mako robot system is state of the art and provides the best THR surgery through accurate robotic assistance to surgeons performing joint replacement procedures. Now all that is required is prosthetics that are also state of the art and not using poly liners with a formulation and annealing process that is over 25 years old. The automotive and aerospace industries can produce bearings that take far higher operational loads than a poly acetabular shell insert and have sufficient longevity so Stryker has no excuse.

Internship at Stryker in Freiburg

I did my internship at stryker. The organisational culture was great, lots of possibilities for personal and professional development and the shared spirit was great! I wish I would have had even more responsibilities but overall it was great. Would definitely consider to apply for a full time job there once my studies are done.
