Jermaine is well informed and pleasant to talk to. He was able to explain my options with Homewise and sent me a brochure.
After this discussion and reading the brochure I decided it wasn’t suitable for me.

I haven't signed with home wise yet due to ill health but I fully intend to once I'm better again. I've had Jermaine Bennett as my adviser and he has been so helpful, easy to talk to and always cheerful, answering all my questions informatively and giving good advise. At no point have I had any pressure put on me to sign up and get going. Quite the contrary. I've been advised to get myself better first regardless of how long it takes. All in all I feel very comfortable with Home wise particularly as they've treated me as a person and not just as a number or a sale. Quite rare in this day and age.

I contacted Homewise when I was browsing property listings just to enquire about the service they offered. I’m relocating from Scotland back to England where house prices are considerably higher and found that a Lifetime Lease with Homewise could potentially enable me to buy a better home than I had thought I could afford. Mickii, my contact at Homewise, took the time to explain clearly how the process works and how they could help me find my perfect new home and she keeps in regular contact by phone to check how things are progressing with my house sale etc. Mickii is so knowledgeable about how Homewise can help, she is friendly, approachable and easy to talk to, we always have a good long chat when she calls. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Homewise to anyone else in my situation.

Jermaine Bennett was extremely helpful. I already had an equity release mortgage but they would not allow me to port it to a property we were looking to buy. I contacted Homewise and he explained the different options that we could look at with Homewise and how they differed from our current Equity release mortgage. He explained it clearly and did not pressure me at all into making a decision. In the end we did not go for the first property and instead have bought without the need of a mortgage. Jermaine was true to his word and checked in with me this week to see if they could be of any use. This was as he had said he would do after our first conversation. Thank you Jermaine for being so understanding and clear with our options. I really feel you gave great customer service with the important basis of any financial services advise of "knowing your customer".

I made an enquiry as to how this scheme works to get it clear in both mine, and my wife’s head. I spoke to a delightful young lady called Mikki. She walked me through the whole process from start to finish, made me aware of advantages, as well as potential disadvantages. She did it in a clear and understandable way, but remained ‘human’ all the way through our conversation. I now feel a lot easier of potentially using this process when we decide to move (possibly Easter 2026).

I found that Barney from Homewise extremely easy to talk to, he immediately put me at ease whilst explaining in a clear and concise way about what Homewise could offer me. Barney Bryer from Homewise rang me in response to my initial phone enquiry. He explained how Homewise could help me boost my cash pot to buy the home I wanted. He explained the process, answered my questions and gave me confidence in both the company and the plan. I was so pleased with the answers I got and the information provided I decided to put my trust in the company and go ahead.

I found myself falling finacially short of enough capital to buy a home for my retirement and started a journey with Homewise.
5 months later, im down 3k and still living on my daughters Sofa.
The company are not registered with FCA as a loophole states they are not a financial lender, but a lease company.
It didnt work for me. The process
was longer than standard property purchasing. Not all solicitors will
deal with them and not all vendors
will sell to you through them.
My advice, if its for you fine but, really think and get advise from an
independant financial specialist.
Homewise pay no costs during the purchase or the length of the lease for repairs etc
and in my case(opinion)use the most expensive services to recommend.
Im buying with my daughter now instead, not ideal but at least she
keeps the house when I pop off.

All three have been exceptional in their clarity, communication skills and willingness to help ensuring that I clearly understood every step of the journey. Excellent customer service deserves a good rating and we have to say Becci Pearce the good will, support and understanding shown to us with our health issues, was commendable.
We have great faith in Homewise and would willingly recommend all staff who we have spoken to. I cannot be specific on dates as the interaction Spanned 2 months.

I have been so impressed with the service i have received from the Homewise team especially from my allocated account manager Simi. Although I was a little anxious at the start of the process I was quickly reassured. Nothing was too much trouble for her all my queries were answered she was friendly, polite, professional and reassuring, she went above and beyond for me. I would definitely recommend Homewise without hesitation.

Excellent service

Let me start by saying I did not complete my transaction with Homewise and I am not a customer. I rang the Homewise team and I am assuming Mr. B from Homewise has given me the right advise. I asked a simple question as to what happens to the investment I make when I get to the end of my lifetime lease. In a year from now or even 25 I would like some share of the money I have paid to Homewise to be returned to my loved ones. He said if you do not opt to safeguard the future value of your home then your loved ones will receive nothing.

I am in my early 60's and was planning to buy a lifetime lease with £250,000 of my life's savings. If I proceed with the Homewise Plan my loved ones will not see a penny of this if I do not safeguard it (which they penalise as the percentage goes from 0% - 50%).

This cannot be a sound financial agreement at the latter stage of my life, surely?

Please tell me if Mr, B was wrong with this advise.
