While we deeply regret that this situation has caused you disappointment, we’d like to take this opportunity to offer full transparency and explain the steps we’ve taken to try and resolve the matter.

Upon reviewing your complaint, we immediately acknowledged that there was a visible difference between the footstool and the sofa in the photos you shared. We responded promptly and openly admitted that the footstool was from an older batch and a discontinued supplier, which is why it appeared different.

That said, the Azzuro Sofa Bed that was delivered to you is indeed the Mocha colour as per your original order. This has been confirmed by both our images team and our warehouse team, who verified it was from the same batch featured on our website. The Azzuro range is crafted in a plush, velvety fabric that is highly responsive to its environment. As a result, it can appear to change tone depending on lighting and surroundings. We also note on our website and in our Terms & Conditions that product colours may vary slightly due to lighting conditions during photography and the unavoidable differences in how screens display colour.

In your case, we even sent over side-by-side comparison images of the Azzuro in Silver to clearly demonstrate the visible differences, Silver being considerably darker and cooler-toned than Mocha. We hoped this would reassure you that your sofa was in fact correct.

We still offered a number of fair and flexible resolutions to ensure your satisfaction:

A full exchange for a new colour or entirely different sofa model of your choice

A full refund and collection for both the sofa and footstool

A refund of your delivery fee.

A direct replacement of the footstool so it matched your sofa

We genuinely did everything within our policy and operational limits to offer an appropriate and fair outcome. You ultimately chose to keep the sofa, stating that you liked it despite your concerns over the tone. We're pleased to confirm that the footstool issue has since been fully rectified, and the one now in your home matches your sofa as intended.

We sincerely apologise that your experience did not meet your expectations. However, we want to reiterate that we acted in good faith and made every reasonable effort to resolve the issue to your satisfaction.

Regarding the colour discrepancy, we’d like to clarify that the fabric used on your sofa has a slightly lustrous finish, which can appear lighter or darker depending on ambient lighting and surrounding tones. While we do our best to ensure accuracy in our imagery and descriptions, some variation is expected, as outlined in our Terms and Conditions.

The sofa model you ordered was also part of a scheduled discontinuation, and your order was fulfilled from the final batch of available stock prior to its removal from our website.

We’re terribly sorry that some cushions were missing from your order. Our customer service team promptly resolved this for you upon receiving your first email, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention.

This matter has also been brought to the attention of our management team, and they would like to help find a satisfactory resolution. Our customers are our top priority, and we are committed to resolving this for you.

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, the team member who handles our mattress ordering had to take unexpected time off earlier in the month and was away for longer than initially anticipated.
