You have lost touch with customer…
You have lost touch with customer service. A query via email takes days before its responded to. You have to wait minimum 30-45mins to get a response from a webchat especially if its a billing query.
You used to be prompt and efficient but now one has to practically beg you for a response and your review is giving an option of a date when I have multipl incidents.

Hi, I apologize for your experience and we will strive to improve. Kindly note at current state our response time is 3hours and 29 minutes on tickets and on live chat it is 2 minutes wait time. Our statistics are pretty good though we are always striving to do better. Note tickets that require more attention or more investigate may take more time. However there are occurrences, I must admit where staff may take longer. We will investigate your queries and see where we can improve.
Support staff are awesome!
The technical support staff who are knowledgeable and always helped me out of a tricky problem.

Moving all our sites to Hostking!
As web developers, we have decided to move all our client sites to Hostking. The support is absolutely out of this world. Their direct chat function means that issues are sorted in minutes, not days. Even if it is ID-10-T errors that we caused. I can not praise their support. Enough. Thanks Darren and the team. You are the best.

Payment gateways do not work. Paypal not available. Payfast says that I need to pay for an invoice before I can add a card which is what I am trying to do.
Then they bill vat as a line item instead of at the bottom of the invoice (After the fact. Original invoice does not have VAT added to it)
Very unprofessional. Fail to see how they are still in business with their dodgy ways and lack of testing before deploying

Hi Anthony, Not sure why you state payment gateways do not work as we get payments daily and have thousands of customers using them across the globe. If you look at our other reviews and our rating we are doing exceptionally well and growing nicely. We understand we cannot please everyone especially the bigger we grow so we thank you for your comments and will strive to improve where we need to in the points you mention. We are also not the only host not offering Paypal, most do not due to Fraud and other issues related to it. This is why we went for Stripe which is one of the largest if not the best payment provider available. VAT is applicable to only certain countries. I see you are from South Africa so yes it is applicable there. The invoices related to that country we will look into. Thanks for your points.
