Fantastic service from start to finish. My storm damage claim was referred by Direct Line to Home Repair Network Ltd. Within hours I received a telephone call from Cheryl to gain further information. She was friendly and efficient and explained what would happen next. My claim was then passed to John Arundale who was extremely professional and helpful. Communication was excellent and John responded very promptly to queries I had. I received a settlement figure within 24 hours of the storm damage occurring and payment received from Direct Line soon after. Many thanks for providing such a professional and prompt service.

I was really impressed with John who contacted me after we had our first break in after 34 years. Not only did he show empathy but put our minds at rest that it would all be sorted. He gave us clear understanding of the process and replied to any questions we had. It's been an awful week but John and all the staff have been absolutely brilliant. Thank you so much regards Richard and Linda

The company was appointed as independent assessors for a household insurance issue. The efficiency of the consultant assessor was exceptional, no nonsense and very fair leading to a satisfactory outcome to all parties.

This is an update on my previous review from February. In December my house was damaged by storm Darragh causing a hole in the roof and damage to the conservatory.A claim was lodged with Aviva who passed in on to HRNL. After nine weeks of chasing the hole in the roof was still open. Rain water and wind were blowing into the roof space and damaging the loft insulation and soaking two ceilings and walls. HRNL were chased and a surveyor visited. Nothing happened so i posted a review on here. I then had a phone call from ian Hoggarth who is the owner. He said he would arrange to get things sorted. A couple of weeks passed and still no action. In the meantime water is still coming into the roof. My daughters bedroom has water dripping through the ceiling and water running down the walls very close to electrical sockets. second bedroom is similar. I had two heavy duty dehumidifiers running 24/7. Eight litres a day was emptied from each. HRNL chased repeatedly but nothing. The plaster on the wall has blown, bits of the ceiling keep falling off on my daughters bed and HRNL's response is nothing. Yesterday I receive a phone to say they will pay a quarter of the ceiling cost but will not pay for the wall damage. They will not pay for the conservatory repairs as it is old. It is not that old and was a solid structure, now it leaks every time it rains.
Back in February they said they would arrange for driers to be supplied, nothing happened. My two dehumidifiers running 24/7 were costing me 35p an hour each. Nothing from HRNL about refunding that.
If you ever have to make a claim and are told you have been appointed hRNL tell your insurance to find someone else. They are totally not fit for purpose.
Dealt with John who was absolutely brilliant handling my claim!!
Very professional and extremely quick in responding.
Made a very stressful situation much easier to deal with.
Thankyou so much 😊

Alisha Begum and team were highly efficient, kind, professional and astute whilst handling two claims in regards to a water leak at my mother's flat. They went to great lengths to explain the essential documentation necessary for submission to process my claim and explained all the key stages and concerns in detail to help me understand what insurance could cover and why.We were so relieved to have our case handled with so much effort and care. Many thanks for supporting myself and elderly mother through, what would otherwise of been a dangerous and traumatic incidence, when the kitchen ceiling fell down. Now we can happily fix the leak damages to our joists too, with minimal stress.Fantastic job!
Tried to refuse our claim 3 monrhs after we settled. Total muppets!! They will try every which way to refuse your claim. Bad maintenance is a general one. Do not accept their findings if your insurance company send them. Ask for an alternative company.
They have been so helpful in dealing with our claim, every call has been hassle free and straight forward. They have all been marvellous, very professional and polite and I have only praise and gratitude for the help they given me. Thank you Aviva and Home Repair Network Ltd.
It’s taken over 3 months to sort out a repair on work previously done by this company (contractor). Their correspondence is very poor , only reacting when you contact them . Nobody takes care of your case so every time you call you you have to go over the same stuff time and time again . This company is used by Aviva insurance, if you have the choice I would highly recommend avoiding it .
Had glazing damage during storm in December and was initially reluctant to claim through insurance - but was referred through home repair network and dealt with John, their glazing consultant.
He made the process very easy and streamlined to get the repair process underway. In a short time the repairs were complete and payment all sorted.
In all, a positive experience received from a professional company.
these people run a scam business if there don't do the work its always wear and tear beware folks there on the side of the insurers
Storm damage - garage roof ripped off and a few ridge tiles missing from house, called my insurance who then appointed Home repair network, took a while to appoint someone to visit the property, they took away a piece of the garage roof to test for asbestos, that was then lost, a second person came 2 weeks later ( after I had to call to ask what was happening ) he then took another sample- told me he would put a tracker on it, guess what! This was also lost, they then appointed another person to come take a third sample without my permission! It was asbestos , I’ve had to call relentlessly for updates , they promise I’ll take this on myself personally then silence, I have no idea why a reputable insurance company would use a people that just let you down and don’t deliver what they promise, they also ask you to let them know if you are going through a tough time which I did ( healthwise ) this seems to have made things worse for me.
Here we are on the 1st of April, water has been pouring into my house and garage since the storm 24th Jan and no one sees the urgency in that, they seem to just pass the buck to someone else every time putting so much stress on me at one of the worst times in my life.
My 94 year old Aunt had her bathroom ceiling collapse. On the 15th November 2024 I paid the £200 excess and this repair still has not been done and she is having to be washed by carers in her kitchen. After 13 phone with this company and with the contractor that they are using we are no further forward.
I have logged an official complaint with the promise of communication within three days and this has not happened either. Today another complaint has been logged.
I think TV Watchdog is my only way forward.
I have been dealing with this company for 43 weeks after I had a leak in my bathroom. The communication has not been great. I raised a complaint on 19 February and have not had an acknowledgment or response. I emailed Ian Hogarth on 3 March and again have not had an acknowledgment or response. Considering Mr Hogarth is “passionate about delivering excellent customer service” this is extremely disappointing.
Great service! Both Communication was clear throughout and answers questioned in a timely manner. Thank you!
