HSL Chairs - Poole/Bournemouth Avis 

Very disappointed with a large delivery charge when we could have easily picked them up if you had them delivered to the store. Unnecessary expense.

The past purchased items have pleased, the friendly, brilliant helpful service and the after sales for a delivery error was promptly sorted 🤗👍

Helped myself and husband choose 2 riser recliner chairs.

We definitely needed a riser recliner and HSL was a brand I was aware of. The lady in the Poole store was helpful and identified the most appropriate chair in the HSL range. I have no idea whether we could have done better elsewhere or secondhand, but I am satisfied with our choice.

We were warmly welcomed by Emma and Jessica. Our salesperson Emma was extremely helpful at outlining all our chair options and conducted herself with the utmost professionalism. We enjoyed complementary coffee and biscuits and left the showroom very satisfied with the whole experience. We are looking forward to receiving our delivery.

I was very well looked after by the ladies in the store on both occasions I called in and there advice was excellent.

Great customer care from start to finish. Showroom staff could not be more helpful and very patient whilst we dithered about a decision.
Delivery of furniture made within the timeframe given and the delivery drivers, Ashley and Cameron, arrived promptly at the time given (in fact even a little early) and went over and above in helping to set up the furniture as we required.

I am 85, and was ushered into a purchase of a sofa bed that I was not 100% certain on, size wise, and they couldn't tell me the exact dimensions because "all computers were down" on the day.
I was told that I could cancel the order if I found there was a problem with the size. Upon trying to cancel I was pushed from pillar to post between the store and head office, and subsequently told that they would be keeping my £688 deposit, which was 30% of the total order value. I asked if I could have this as store credit so that I could order a smaller sofa and was told "NO, we will be keeping your deposit on this occasion". I have NEVER been treated like this when shopping before, or dealt with such an unreasonable company. If I could give them zero stars, I would.
The loss of that money has devastated me, and it will take me at least another year to save up that kind of money again.
My advice to anyone thinking of shopping here is find the type of furniture you want, and purchase it elsewhere.

The two delivery men were very very helpful, and a pleasure to deal with .They were Ashley and Cameron delivering our reclining chair from Poole Dorset showroom. Thankyou to all, we oldies are delighted with our new reclining chair.

Friendly staff who don't rush you. Served by a very courteous young man who was training and took great pains to ensure that I had the right information.

We purchased a 2 seater and a single chair from HSL back in February. 8 weeks later our furniture arrived and was assemble in our living room. Within a week we noticed some faults such as stitching and the filling of the seats. We reported this to HSL and they sent an independent surveyor to assess the faults. He found so much wrong they ordered a replacement suite which arrived another 8 weeks later. This time the 2 seater is OK but we found that every time we sat on the single chair it made a loud noise. We called HSL again and a new surveyor came out and said the springs on the single chair are hitting the wooden frame so we are going to have to arrange a home repair which will take around 90 minutes. No consideration to whether we are happy to have this repair done in our home or that we may wish for the chair to be repaired at HSL.
Please think extremely carefully before you purchase anything from HSL as l personally think they're quality control is absolutely pathetic and there quality extremely poor. Maybe they should take a really good look at their manufacturering department as their is oversly a serious problem.
I will certainly not be recommending them to anyone.

Well received when entering the store the staff could not have been more helpful if they tried, the tea & coffee with biscuits had me hooked.

Lots of options and good selection of chairs to try so you get the right one for the customer. Staff very helpful and friendly

Really positive experience. We were guided through buying beds as there were lots of options. We finished with exactly what we'd hoped for. Can't fault HSL. The firm, the staff are truly top quality.

The ladies in the showroom were helpful and efficient. I mention Mary and Jess in particular. The delivery men arrived when they were expected and installed the chair with the minimum fuss. Very well done to all. Thank you. I am also delighted with my Stressless chair.

Andrea and colleagues at the Bournemouth showroom did an excellent job in helping us find the best chairs for us: helpful, knowledgeable, professional and friendly - well done.

Andrea the Sales Consultant was excellent. She was pleasant and very helpful in terms of matching my requirements to the correct chair. We had problems in terms of delivery but she helped to solve the problem by helping to shoehorn the chair into my small car.
Even payment was made less painful over a cup of tea and biscuit.
I am very happy with the quality of the chair and with the quality of the service provided, I would certainly recommend HSL
