Hubbl are terrible

Hubbl are terrible. I'll never sign up with Binge again. They make it almost impossible to cancel and then continue to charge after you cancel because of some technicality. I had to spend over an hour in the chat room just to get them to properly cancel my account with no future charges. A stressful annoying hour I'll never get back. Super dodgy.

They continue charging after unsubscribe

Even after unsubscribing they continue to charge you. I only found out by chance that if been paying a year after I thought I’d cancelled. They make it near impossible to delete you account. I had to submit a request form for deleting after spending an hour trying to figure out how to contact the right person.

cancelled kayo days before due

Tried canceling kayo days before it was due, said it was cancelled looked a few days later nope not cancelled, cancelled again said it was , had to do it 2 more times and no wasn’t cancelled even though it said it was. They tried taking $40 out of my account so quick to do that, insufficient funds obviously why I cancelled early, chatted with someone on the help site, absolutely useless even though it’s there website with the problem I have to ring my bank to stop their company taking $40 out for something I’d already cancelled but was informed it would still probably come out and I’d have to re contact kayo to get a refund, what a joke, also stuffs up my binge account if I stop the payment but they’re sorry for the inconvenience, they just rip people off

Horrific

Horrific, they charged me for a Paramount+ yet they did not activate my account. and they do not seem to have any active agents, It just goes to a useless AI chatbot.

do not buy gift cards its a scam

I bought a gift card worth $200 and wasn't able to use it. the links only took me to pages to view the value of the cards. nowhere in the sign up would it allow me to put in that I had a gift card. even if it did they never gave me any details of the gift card to input.

LifeStyle has no app

I can find no app that I can use on my TV for a subscription with LifeStyle for $8 AUD per month. So I cancelled it - what a waste of time. Why are you selling this subscription when there's no app for Hubbl or LifeStyle.

Don't cancel your subscription until the last minute! They cut you off straight away

Wanted to sign up to Binge but needed a Hubbl account to do so. Didn't love Binge so cancelled after about 3 months and was sent an email to say that we still had access until the end of our subscription (which I fully expected to given we still had about 10 days to go) but the access was immediately stopped, tried on a different platform... nope still no access so I couldn't watch the last few eps of the series. Could I contact Hubbl to give feedback, no just some bot chat... super annoying.

Poorest Customer Service

I agree with previous comments. The WORST company I can recall dealing with in my life - which hasn't been short. I've tried to deal with them to resolve technical issues a number of times via Chat, which is the only option available.
This afternoon I spent over an hour in a Chat with Ashley only to be cut off and left hanging.
On a previous occasion I tried to return a hubbl box I purchased and was experiencing issues with. I requested a refund but received a 'replacement' instead.
on each occasion I have had to live with the problems, work it out myself or seek help from acquaintances.
Do Not Deal With This Company!!!

It's appalling I cancelled my…

It's appalling I cancelled my subscription in time they said they haven't gotten it. Instead they sent me a welcome email and charged me $40 for a Kayo subscription. I keep emailing them but reading the bad reviews and how they handle it gives me not much hope this will be resolved. Current Affairs can't investigate this scam quick enough.

Worst item ever

Worst item ever. It has taken them over one and half weeks to fix an issue with the continue watching carousel and it's still not fixed. Yes all the apps are in one place but since continue watching doesn't work you still need to remember which app you were watching. Defeats the whole purpose if you ask me. Also subscribed to 4 apps and did not receive any credit because they said that annual charges are not eligible for credits. The only thing it's good for is the bin.

Currently in a dispute with this unaustralian scum of a company. Have tried to cancel subscription 3 times and they continue to charge me. It has taken hours of my time already and now have to cancel my credit card. Their complaints team are liars and cowards. I can't wait to join the class action lawsuit and have been in contact with a current affair who sound very interested in doing a story on hubbl.

Waste of money

Waste of money. Apps constantly (At least one or two a day!!) won't open so I can't stream. It's pot luck as to which ones will work on a given day. Ridiculous!!

Possibly the worst company I have dealt…

Possibly the worst company I have dealt with…they tried to charge me for a premium service I had never requested, didn’t want and using details from an old credit card. When I didn’t update my credit card details they canceled other, unrelated services, until I was forced to update and pay. They said it had been outlined in the documentation I received. It hadn’t.

WORST SERVICE EVER

They charged me for a subscription that could never be activated and when speaking to customer service they were absolutely useless, they never helped me or gave me any solutions.
When I asked to get a refund they told me that someone else needed to take a look at the query and that that would take days.
Worst service ever wouldn’t recommend

DO NOT BUY - An absolute dogs breakfast no customer servcie whatsoever

The hardware itself is not bad but they have absolutely appalling customer service. They had by account some how intertwined with my sons and you think it should be a quick data entry fix it his name his mobile, my name my mobile but no! I must have been on their useless chat for over 7 hours on different occasions as it keeps dropping out to try to sort this out. Now escalated it to complaints but still being sent on a wild goose chase. I would happily cancel my accounts if I could but I can’t even do that and there seems to be no one with a brain who is capable of fixing this. And no chance what’s of someone picking up the phone and sorting it out. I am going to love a complaint with fair trading as I have now paid for a device I cannot use due to their incompetence. I am off to buy an Amazon fire stick this afternoon!

Using this service was a mistake

Definitely a mistake using this company. They deliberately hide the cancellation process by using a misleading banner. It creates the impression that you're enrolling in another service, complete with a listed price next to the confirmation button.

I had originally thought I had cancelled my subscription and only realised after being charged that it hadn't processed. No refund even 1 day after renewal. So poor.

They hide the ability to cancel their service by obfuscating the area with a confusing banner. The banner gives the appearance you are signing up for another service, listing the price next to the confirm button. I’m not well versed in legislation but I feel this constitutes grounds for a lawsuit.

This resulted in two additional charges because I believed I had cancelled two months ago.

A refund is desirable. A lawsuit is preferable.
