BEWARE OF BINGE - ESPECIALLY SENIORS

Please NEVER use BINGE because it is the WORST streaming service ever. The Staff are not interested in helping you at all. I signed up for one month and unfortunately was unexpectedly in hospital with a serious heart condition. My month was up on 9 May but on the same date Binge billed me $19.50 which was almost 4 times the amount l had paid. I received no notification at all that l was going to be charged if l didn’t cancel immediately. I politely contacted them explaining l am 75 and financially struggling. I was only discharged from hospital on the afternoon of 9 April.
Absolutely disgusted with the way l was treated. I suggest all older people NEVER USE BINGE!! They have NO CARE, RESPECT OR EMPATHY for people who are genuinely very ill or old.

Atrocious

I had this cheap and very rarely used it. Not the best app or variety of content. They also direct debited me when I believed the service to be cancelled. They have a very sneaky and devious way of making you click the wrong thing and end up keeping it the sub when going through the cancellation process. They then refuse a refund. Horrendous.

DO NOT TRUST! Binge are the biggest scammers…worst company to deal with as take your money even after unsubscribing and continue to. Once complained they LIE endlessly making excuses and deny any refund even though I have an email to say I unsubscribed before the next payment was due.

Bad Customer Service

Bad Cancellation policies, believed a show was on there site through an old link I clicked, couldn't see the library without subscribing. Subscribed for one month, saw the show was removed asked for a refund and refused by customer service, appalling.

What have you done!!!!!

What have you done? It was a decent app and now it is terrible. I have had binge for years, it now buffers all the time, the pixels are terrible, and when you want to watch your latest show you have to go through all the watched episodes to get to the latest one. Seriously was this coded by a two year old? What a bitter disappointment, I've had binge for years and years, I've been hoping they would fix the issue but it appears not. It's bad enough that they changed it to a very inferior app but not to fix the issues shows no interest in doing the right thing by their customers.

A literal scam

I signed up for binge on my birthday because google told me they had a movie I had been wanting to watch. When I realised they didn't have it and that they just had nothing else I was all that interested in I spent the next ten minutes cancelling the subscription and even got the email saying my subscription was cancelled. Five months later today they charge me at the worst possible time when I NEED that money and when I go to talk to customer support I'm told it wasn't successfully cancelled and I will not receive a refund.

I just went to see if anyone else has had similar experiences and low and behold; they've done this to heaps of others. How are they still up? Don't waste your money on them, honestly.

Terrible!!!
I cancelled a year ago and the website said “restart your subscription” which I never did. Realised a year on they’ve been changing me each month under Hubbl and now won’t offer refunds. They have also done this to a friend of mine. DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS

Binge has no forgot password page

Apparently I had a binge account as I can't sign up or in because t h e website says my mobile number is already registered. But Binge doesn't give me a forgot password or username to sign in but asks for new number which I gave it but the new number doesn't fit Australian format although it ACTUALLY does 0xxxxxxxxx

Boring and overpriced

When first stumbling on Binge a few years ago they had some good movies and series for a very low cost. Now you pay 4x the price. I like one series on it currently so reinstated when offered $5 a month but there is absolutely nothing else to watch on it. The catch is to this $5 deal.. they are releasing this series 1 episode a week. Not worth it by the end of the series I will be hit with $19+and only using it for one show. Boring...

Only sign up for binge if you never…

Only sign up for binge if you never want to cancel your subscription. You can sign up with not one problem but when it comes to cancellation the cancel button doesn't seem to work. However, the button right next to it to confirm your current subscription or increase your subscription works with no issues. I do not recommend binge it isn't worth the hassle.

Binge is terrible☠️

1️⃣-The shows are limited as if they are leftovers from other providers.
One dollar per month is what they deserve.

2️⃣-The TV app is horrible, it glitches, and doesn't start the show at the last point watched.

3️⃣-It takes minutes to start and sometimes doesn't start at all I even thought my remote or internet was not working.

4️⃣I had a one-month trial and forgot to cancel, I was two hours late and they refused to refund.

Signed up for a free trial, cancelled it... They Still charged me.

They make cancelling really difficult you need to jump through a bunch of hoops and bs. From there, if you press cancel and move to the next screen, it doesn't work guaranteed. I cancelled, and then got billed 2 days later. The second time, trying to cancel I hope it works this time. Overpriced, dishonest and I hope there is some way to lodge a complaint about this business practice.

Dugruntled binge client

So I signed up for 12 months only to find out the next month they no longer have HBO series. Now money has gone through fir another 12 months which I didn't want anymore. I then get email saying it is going to take 3 weeks for reimbursement. Not happy Jan.

Malicious unwarranted billing

I attempted to sign up to Binge on 23/10/25 and had technical difficulties, which resulted in not ever gaining access to the account. The signup process did kick off monthly billing though, which i wasn't able to cancel as i didn't have an actual account, and took three months for their technical support to resolve. They refused to refund the payments. I'm referring it to the ACCC. They're a technology company -- they can hardly claim it's not their fault when their online subscription page mistakenly starts billing you! Very disappointed and keen to warn others off dealing with them.

I regret signing up to there $2 deal

I regret signing up to there $2 deal. Entrapment. Service didnt work.
They tried to send me down a rabbit Warren of lengthy rectification processes. Whe. I refused citing other streaming devices wiring straight away they didn’t offer a refund. Seems to me that they entrap ppl for a month, take there money and offer nothing it o return. Seems deliberate which, given the service doesn’t work they have me paying $$ for nothing.
That’s theft unless they reimburse

If I could give 0 stars I would. They double charge you, then you try to cancel which doesn’t work so they keep charging you. Refuse to help, won’t refund. Scam service
