Worst internet streaming service!
Seriously, for what they charge, this is a terrible “service”! Constant drop outs, lagging and spinning wheels. And no, it’s not my internet! I paid extra to watch F1 in 4k and half the time the picture is so blurry, it’s almost unwatchable. Frankly, its an absolute rip off!
If you read these comments Kayo, screw you. Get your crap together!
Unsubscribing from Kayo is harder than you think
Today is the third time I've unsubscribed from Kayo. This time I screenshot their advice that I'd officially become unsubscribed and sent it to them. All up, I've paid for 5 months I didn't want. I'm naive, the first time I thought it was my error the unsubscribe didn't go through, I didn't check my account after the second time I unsubscribed but I've finally learned the hard way. Terrible company.
Non existent customer support
Absolute rubbish, non existent customer support. I am overseas for work, and cannot even pay my bill because the website and app are geo blocked by kayo, and there is no way to contact support.
They keep spamming me with overdue payment notices, but replies to their emails bounce, and emails to their support email address go completely unanswered.
Absolute trash.
Dismal
Dismal. I only gave them one star because there was no option to give them less.
Very inconsistent quality with regular dropouts.
Had a very average experience with the support network.
Thought this would be a good option for what I wanted this turned out to be untrue. Do not subscribe to them and do not waste your money.
I did a trial subscription - couldn't cancel
I did a trial subscription. When I tried to cancel as I was overseas, I couldn't access Kayo's app or website. They provided very little support in the way of communicating with them whist away - no email support or phone support. 3 months later after returning from overseas they refuse to refund blaming me for not cancelling prior to going oversea. Terrible service and put money before customers. Will never use them again.
The new app is awful
The new app is awful. Truly poor. The old one was fine. I have complained multiple times to the kayo support staff and get nowhere of course. A number of features now gone, clunky interface, buggy beyond anything else I've seen in a decade, frustrating and difficult. And to top it all off, you now get ads when you hit pause. The clownish one is when they advertise kayo on pause. Like I need that when I don't like the app and I'm already a subscriber. Duh.
If it wasn't for the fact the sports I want to see are on that service and no other, I'd be gone in a minute. Wouldn't have said that before the new app, but it is horrible.
If only...
Crap app. Freezes constantly, skips, won't load back to back clips without turning the TV on/off. If Foxtel didn't have such a sports monopoly, would 100% choose a different service.
Wish I could give ZERO stars
Wish I could give ZERO stars. F your QR prompt every time I want to watch a game. Trying to cancel is a bend over.
Kayo is worse steaming service
Hate having to use QR code to open app on another app, buffers , jumps back in live for no apparent reason, adds in pause adds in live programs when says add free , barely use this app now,
this awful app awful service
Simply gone from my fav streaming…
Simply gone from my fav streaming service to the worst
2 years ago I never had the issues I do now
Why do main stream sites go into the sports side any way
Watching sport is not the same as watching a tv show and let’s be honest they don’t care for the “sport experience” any more
May you Kayo fix it up cause it has the potential to be a great streaming service and I would happily pay the money
Not today though
AGEIST KAYO TOOK AWAY LOGIN CAPABILITY ON TV
KAYO TOOK AWAY LOGIN CAPABILITY ON TV WHICH IS AGEIST BEHAVIOUR
My 76yo uncle can no longer log into kayo via his 75in TV using his username and password.
Scanning a QR code on his 75in TV with a smart device is the only option now.
Being older, he does not own a smart device so he cannot scan the QR code. He also does not how to use a smart device and it is too small for him to see.
He also does not own a laptop or computer and could not watch Kayo on a small screen if he owned a computer. And he can't use a computer.
Since Kayo took away the old standard login option (email and password) on the TV I now have to drive to his house and use my mobile phone to scan the QR code for him.
To make matters worse, I was overseas for the last 4 weeks on holiday so he was unable to use Kayo at all.
This is AGEIST behaviour by Kayo.
Kayo MUST restore the login and password capability for TVs. If not I will be leaving Kayo and telling all my friends about this. And using social media to tell my story. I will also report Kayo to the ombudsman.
This is typical of young IT developers who think up things like this whilst not leaving legacy systems in place until our aging population are all gone

Unusable timeline, forced phone checks, constant price hikes
Unusable timeline, forced phone checks, constant price hikes
The latest app updates have completely ruined Kayo. The timeline scrubber is fundamentally broken—try fast-forwarding 10 minutes and the timestamp flips reference points mid-scrub, making precise skipping impossible. On top of that, you now have to scan QR codes or grab your phone for verification codes on your own TV just to watch a broadcast you’re paying $45.99/month for! The app gets worse with every update while the prices keep going up. Fix your timeline and stop harassing legitimate paying users on their home network.
Kayo imposes QR barrier
Kayo has introduced a time-wasting and imposing new barrier for existing subscribers, who have already paid to watch the service. It's a QR code that pops up on the screen and bullies customers into scanning it and going through the process of downloading an app. It's compulsory before they can watch a game. This app is designed to give Kayo your exact location at the time you log in and also other private information. It appears a new tool that Kayo is using to impose targeted advertising on its subscribers.
hard to cancel sub
hard to cancel sub, keep on asking for passwords. Should honestly chargeback everything and fry their payment processing if they dont refund
No good if you travel remote Australia
Kayo is behind the eight ball. We now have internet all over the world with satellite tech however if you sign up in a city and then travel remote Australia it will not allow you to stream because you are 'remote'. There is no valid reason for this.
I have now cancelled my subscription because this company is taking money without providing a service regardless of location.
A horrible streaming service
A horrible streaming service, so glitchy. Games are interrupted at times when there's a scoring opportunity for your team or against them.
Just Kayo can ask you, "Do you want to Resume or Watch Live?"
Here's a tip, Kayo Sports, aka Streamotion.
"I HATE MY LIVE STREAM CONSTANTLY INTERUPTED BY DUMB QUESTIONS, WHILE I'M WATCHING IT LIVE"
For a company that has the monopoly of…
For a company that has the monopoly of the market and charges exorbitant fees to their customers, the could at least provide comprehensive coverage. In regards to the afl “super Saturday”, it is anything but. Minimal coverage of each game. They have multiple channels linked to fox footy and foxtel coverage, why are you not able to provide decent and in depth coverage of each game pre and post game. Supporters don’t want to be whisked away to watch the next game, when they could cover the post game interviews, press conferences and analysis etc. Absolute rubbish, if you can’t be bothered, hand the rights back to free to air coverage so they can look after it.
On a side note, what kind of platform are they running. If you try to watch a live game of any sport, and fall behind the live stream, as soon as coverage has finished the stream ends and you are sent back to the Home Screen, mid game, and then have to wait until they have uploaded the replay. This usually takes 10min plus, and only then can you resume the stream. What a joke.
Absolute crap streaming service
Absolute crap streaming service. Services that behave badly just because they have a monopoly should be fined for anti-competitive conduct. This service, the support staff, they suck and they couldn't care less. Worlds cheapest chatbot that can't actually do anything. Then get connected to a live agent and get ghosted. Somehow my 2FA fails with the wrong code. that they send me. garbage
Glitchy
Glitchy, expensive. User interface difficult to navigate. A poor quality product
