Shady business

Clicked unsubscribe on the binge/hubbl platform only to be charged $18 within two days and denied a refund. Shady practises.

Terrible...

Cancelled subscription 2 months ago then they kept on charging me multiple times a month. customer service said it was due to the fact the I had changed my subscription. the only thing I had done was to cancel it. terrible platform don't use it thats all I can say

Do not allow yourself to be fooled!
I started a 6-month free trial of Binge, offered through TV purchase in January 2024, and quickly realised it was not for me. Binge took $18 out of my credit card 10 July 2024 even though I cancelled the subscription 10 June 2024. The site clearly showed l had cancelled my subscription, but somehow my subscription is renewed, certainly not by me. I have not used the service and I cancelled before they were due to bill me. I am sure this is against the law. Will need to escalate to the ACCC, QLD Fair Trading and Ombudsman.

Total scam.I signed up for $5 deal cancelled before the due date and they still took for another month.When i inquired they said that the service wasn't cancelled but was happy to do that for me and said that I still have a month of viewing left so no refund.Crap content,crap customer service.

Dont waste your money with this service

Customer services do not listen to you complaints they will just give you a run around protocol rather then treating you like an individual I advise anyone who has had issues with them to submit your information to the ACCC’s Digital Platform Services Inquiry before August 23 2024

"To inform the final report, the ACCC released an issues paper on 25 July 2024, seeking written submissions from interested parties to assist the ACCC. Submissions close 23 August 2024."

WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY

WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. Couldn't watch more than 5 mins without getting frozen on error message. Didn't work on tv, phone or tablet. Tried everything Binge help suggested with no luck. Asked for refund since I didn't watch an episode of anything and was told they don't give refunds.
TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.

If I could give no star I would. I have subscribed to binge for over 3 years. Been extremely happy and recommend to my friends. Not any more . This is such a scam now it has merged with hobbl. I have been charged twice in one month and charged 18.00 instead of my usual 10.00 . I can't cancel as it just makes it extremely difficult and a time waster trying. They have removed lots of content and it's so average now. I had to cancel my prepaid credit card to get out of this service. So bad. So unhappy and will never give you a cent again.

Rip off even when you pay for no adds you get adds

I paid $18 a month and still got 20-30 advertisements per episode I watched. I contacted them after answering a heap of useless questions I was then told someone would be in contact with me in 3-5 days I didn’t receive the call contacted them again and no response.

Paying to watch more ads than TV

This use to be the best service, I'm not exaggerating..
Those shows and movies you couldn't find anywhere, binge had them.
Fast forward almost a year and decide to pick up where we left off and it's definitely the worst..
This is worse than having to pay for the water that comes from the sky.

If you have a service that you make people pay for you are getting the money you need to run the service, but introducing ads is stupid.

Ok, and ad or two before the show starts, could understand if you needed to...
But 10 minutes in, 3-4, 30 second ads, another 12-15 minutes in more ads, another 10 minutes, 3-4 more ads again.

Pause it, play, oh 2 minutes in you will get ads, because you know, gotta pay for pausing.

Pathetic excuse for a streaming service.

Absolute theives

Absolute theives, cancelled my subscription, but these low lifes still take your money, also l signed up for the cheapest method, but they changed it from $10 a month to $18 a month, yes lve contacted them, only on the chat as you can't talk to the theiving pigs, you have to talk via the chat, well you are theiving mongrels

Buffers when adds come, skips episodes, screen just goes black, same adds.
It truly is pathetic, surprised Hamish and Andy promote this garbage for hard working Australians.. shame

Something really dodgy is going on with…

Something really dodgy is going on with a Hubble/Binge. I cancelled my subscription with Binge in 2022. Since the change over to Hubble, Istarted getting charged again exactly from 19 February 2024. To my extreme annoyance, the fees have been debited from my new credit card that I did not share its details with Binge back in 2022!
Customer service confirmed I have no active subscription and said they will escalated. Haven’t heard anything back.

Why all the adds they keep adding on we pay for this

I am so fed up with more and more adverts being added and all. The same garbage I hate adverts but every time the same ones and they just keep adding more and more a less than half an hour programme and they break in the middle with adverts I thought we paid to get away from all the adds on free to airplane

What an absolute scam of a streaming site

What an absolute scam of a site. Was paying something like $8-$10 for my sub in Aus. Now it’s like $16 and not only the increase with no warning, I get to sit through the ungodly f***ing torture of watching ads in the middle of a show or movie. It really is something of the Stone Age to pull this garbage. Waste of money since being taken over obviously. You barely increase your selection and want to charge more and have us endure ads and buffering. Way to space cadets. Will be cancelling.

So let me get this right. I have a Binge account (supposedly). But i have to sign in thru Hubbl. When i try to do that because I supposedly have a Streamotion acct, I then have to sign in thru Binge, but of course then we're back to having to sign thru Hubbl. The kicker is i've never made an account with any of these useless services.

I don't know which is worse that or cancelling my subscription which of course I can no longer do because i can't actually signin. or getting constantly charged for said cancelled subscription, which doesn't show up when i used to be able to login to Binge which i can not longer do because of Hubbl.

This is better than a pyramid scheme because a pyramid only has 3 sides!!

After living in the US for the past 40 years i can't believe how useless everything works in Australia. Would've thought they'd got it sorted out by now!

I'm still trying to cancel and delete this account which i have been paying for monthly but have never actually used!

Confused? yeh so am i! Do yourself a favour and don't even consider siging up with these morons
