Sent defective vapes, asked to test them myself despite health risks, then refused refund.
I tried leaving this review on the Huff Vape website, but my review isn't posting so I believe Huff Vape selectively only post positive reviews. If that type of deceptive review process doesn't deter you from purchasing vapes from Huff Vape, I hope my review helps you reconsider doing business with them. I purchased 20 Geek Bar vapes from Huff Vape, and every single one was defective. Issues included rapid battery drain, devices staying on after use, auto-firing without activation, inconsistent or harsh flavors, units that stopped working entirely, flickering screens during and after use... the list goes on.
To confirm it wasn't a product-wide issue, I ordered the same Geek Bar vapes from another retailer. The difference in quality was immediately obvious... not just in performance, but in the shape, color, feel, and even the logo on the vape housing.
I contacted Huff Vape on March 10 after noticing the issues. They instructed me to manually test the remaining vapes and provide a count of how many were defective for a full refund. This seemed questionable, especially since Geek Bar's official site warns users not to continue using defective units. But Huff Vape implied this was the only way to qualify for a refund.
By April 7, I had completed testing and notified them. They then cancelled my refund request, claiming the return window had closed. Testing these took 28 days, which should be understandable given how unsafe they felt to use and the burning sensation my throat experienced while using them. In contrast, the same vapes from the other retailer caused no discomfort at all. I'm not a robot. I can't safely test multiple questionable vapes back-to-back.
While Huff Vape did send one reminder email, they never clearly stated a deadline, especially after asking me to do the quality control myself. That they put the burden on me and then closed the case without honoring the refund is unacceptable.
Huff Vape sold me clearly defective products, made me test them myself despite the health risks, and avoided accountability. Be extremely cautious if you choose to buy from them.
