Great service and product

I recently purchased the kit with the Greek urns, I absolutely love it! It took a little figuring out how to set it up, but worth it. The problems I had, not with the set up,, I texted the company and they guickly got back to me and solved my problem. I was surprised how helpful they were. Looking forward to buying more fountain heads to change it up once in awhile!

I sent email saying my fountain wasn't …

I sent email saying my fountain wasn't pumping water out. They quickly got back to me to asking me to watch the video. They said if no joy get back to them. I went through the steps to try solve it,still no joy. I told them it could be a faulty remote. With out any problem they sent me a new replacement, I received the new remote and now it works perfectly. I love my hydria fountain.

Customer Services know nothing about their own products and more concerned about reviews than helping you

No apology. No help. Just an email asking I give them a better rating. Seriously? No customer service here.

I saw the water features at a garden show and also on QVC. I liked it but wanted more info. I emailed customer services with very basic questions and they couldn’t answer any of them - John couldn’t. Didn’t even know when their own discount was ending. It said online that a promotion was on for a week, but I didn’t know when the week started did I, so I asked and they couldn’t answer. Had no idea when the week long discount would finish! At a guess it would be 7 days. It’s still on a week later. So it’s not a week then.

I didn’t want to order the next day and find I missed out on the discount, but I couldn’t order it until I found out more product info. They couldn’t tell me the answer to another 2 questions they really should have known the answer to. This is their invention/product afterall. The questions were easy. So although I wanted to make a purchase by not gaining the info this stopped me ordering it. If the staff know nothing about their own product I’m not buying it! Questions were referring to the battery and algae. So not rocket science!

After writing this I got an email asking me to give them a better rating.

A suggestion. Answer my questions. Help me. I might help you. Pleading with me to up their rating and not addressing my issue isn’t favourable.

Re reply - You are missing the point. YOU DIDNT ANSWER THE QUESTIONS. I got I DONT KNOW! That’s bad. No product knowledge at all. No help. 1 star review stays! Because STILL you won’t try to help.

You’d think you’d go out of your way to help and get a sale. But no. Just care about ratings!

AND STILL THEY HAVENT CONTACTED ME TO SMOOTH THINGS OVER AND GET A SALE. Not interested in £200 then. Bad, terrible customer services. And a week later their week long promotion is still going!! So that’s misleading customers. A week should mean a week!

A novel way to createe your own fountain!

I love the opportunities to purchase a variety of colors and characters to place on the basin. I’ve received a multitude of people wanting to purchase for themselves. Keep up the good work!

Terrible experience

I had to write the honest review for the team to get in touch with me with regards to their poor quality of petals where the paint was coming off in less than a month of using it.
After which someone got in touch with me saying they were sorry about the issue and that they would dispatch replacement petals, its been 2 weeks but haven't received anything and have had no reply to my email as well

After this review, they did send me a parcel but sent the wrong items so I just asked them that I need a full refund, for which they agreed and asked me to send the dimensions of a box so they could send me a prepaid label

I am adding to the review after 2 months now because I have requested for a refund for which I was told I would say we sent a prepaid label after I sent the dimensions of the box, now it’s been more than a week. I have sent them the dimensions of the box and have chased them with three emails to ask them to send me a prepaid label, but there is just no reply from them. That’s how bad the customer service is.
Just be aware before you buy from them

Second impressions after speaking with customer services!

[Edit]. My original review only gave 2 stars. This was because the unit took over 12 hours to fully charge, against the advised 6-8 hours, and the continuous run time was only around 48 hours, compared to the advertised 100 hours. Thinking that this may be a faulty unit, I purchased a backup/replacement pump unit and would take that issue up with Hydria once I had compared it with the backup unit.

By simply swapping out the units each time, I would not be waiting for the recharge process. However, the recharge and the continuous run times were almost the same as the original unit! I asked for these to be returned under their 30-day guarantee.

Their customer support (John), having seen my review, reached out to me. I have to say that their customer support is fantastic, always getting back to me in less than 24 hours.

They agreed with no quibble that if I wanted to return these, they would issue me a full refund. They also advised checking the USB.. They were correct to do so; the charger that I was mistakenly using was only 0.700mA. When plugged into a 3A Quick Charger, the charge time was under 5.1/2 hours, much quicker than even their advised time! I have addressed this issue in my list of improvements that they could make, further down.

Their only solution offered to the runtime issue was to use the unit at the lowest flow rate. Whilst this may work, I wanted a water feature for the soothing water sounds; even on the highest setting, it is barely audible, and lower is non-existent. (Please note that in the video that I added for this review, using software, I had to increase the volume by over 50% for it to be heard.) Thus, I can only give a 4-star rating.

When I wanted to swap the Mindfulness Pebbles for a Bronze Tiered Fountain and pay the difference, they agreed and said that I could also keep the pebble one. They also offered me a £30.00 discount on the purchase of a backup/replacement unit. When I pointed out that I had already purchased one, they issued me a £30 refund.

Overall, I am happy with the Hydria kit; it does what it is supposed to, and as far as I am aware, it is the only cordless solution that doesn't rely on solar power. Although with certain improvements, they could make a good water feature into a great one.

IMPROVEMENTS THAT I WOULD LIKE TO SEE IN FUTURE BUILDS:-

I decorated the tray with small pebbles. However, when you lift the tray to replace the pump unit, the pebbles spill out over the side and into the water reservoir.

The addition of a lip to the tray would be a nice touch, preserving any decorations by keeping them in place.

My solution was to build a mesh tray to go around the actual tray. This works, but the additional thickness of the wire still makes it difficult to remove, so a ready-fitted one would be a nice improvement for those wishing to use their own decorations.

The LED lights only have three colours to choose from. My £29 solar fountain has 60 lights of every colour, with multiple patterns, albeit with no remote and non-programmable. For a unit in the price range of the Hydria kit, I feel they could greatly improve on their offering.

Those LED lights again! Well, just the red ones... All my chargers are in one room, the office. And when this unit is on charge, it lights up the room with three bright red flashing lights, very annoying. All my other devices have a small, subdued, soft red and green indicator.

Running water sounds, I could hear nothing with the Cascade (fountain) nozzle, only with the Sprinkler (drop-down) nozzle and the use of the Bronze Tiered Fountain could I hear the continuous sound of gentle running water in my garden, albeit very low. An increase in the pump pressure would be welcome. Also, this only comes with the two nozzles that I mentioned; most cheaper solar fountains come with seven or more different nozzles.

Interchangeable connections. In order to increase the volume of the running water, I wanted to use another fixture's extended connection on the Fountain, but it did not fit. None of the different fixtures that I have are interchangeable.

Charger, to avoid such problems as I encountered with using a correct charger, they plan to add this information to their website. However, the inclusion of a suitable charger in the kit would alleviate this problem altogether.

Backup units in conjunction with the remote. The remote that comes with this is very powerful, which is very handy when using this through a window or some such. However, any changes made to the main unit using the remote also affect any fully charged backup units, which then come to life, no matter where they are in the house. Running a pump dry can damage it. The only way to turn off the backup is to plug in the charger, switch it on and then off. A much better solution would be to add a small on/off switch to the units.

This helpline team is outstanding

This helpline team is outstanding. I am not very Tec Savvy so I do rely on my grandchildren a fair amount, but, every query or problem I have had, this team has answered promptly and has been helpful. As a 77 year old I appreciate it. The Video on the Hydria water feature is also well worth watching and is good at problem solving.

Having a problem with a faulty item they immediately replaced the faulty item without any quibbles and delivered it with great haste.

Very disappointed with this company

Very disappointed with this company. I placed an order on 9th July with expected delivery of 3-11 business days. I then received an email saying delivery was delayed due to stock issues and my order would be sent on 18th July. I then received a further email saying exactly the same thing and that my order would now be dispatched on 28th July. This date came and went with no order, so I contacted Hydria on 29th July to ask if my order was being sent to me. Received a reply from John saying yet again that my order was delayed due to stock issues. No explanation, no apology, no firm delivery date. I have asked for a refund, a very curt response from John saying this has been initiated. Basically, don't expect your money back any time soon. This fountain was to have been a birthday present for my 90 year old father. Extremely unhappy with Hydria and their customer service operative.

Please explain why the Hydria Pirine kit which contains the same solar fountain as the one I ordered is available from Amazon for £179 with next day delivery?

Bought a unit years ago and loved

Bought a unit years ago and loved. Bought replacement battery etc. Charged and used once. Never worked or charged again. Thought it was remote, Bought a new one. Still not working. Asked for a replacement battery and in 2 days it had arrived. Fantastic service. First class which is sometimes hard to find in this day and age.
Thank you so much now enjoying my old fountain and my new one.

Great product, great comms

I bought the leaf and the pebbles. The pebbles connector didn't fit if you buy separately as it's designed for the hydria basic kit. The leaf reservoir is deeper but supplies a connector. I gave feedback for this and then bought the greek jug fountain too. Abdul and Joel thanked me for feeding this back and making them aware. They sent me a 3 tier cascade for free and refunded the cost of my previous fountain head. Their customer service was excellent. Abdul rang me, I had informative emails and good comms regarding delivery times. I would and probably will buy again when I finish my garden. These remove all the hassle of shaded areas as 100 hours off one charge is superb. I'd like to see more fountain heads and mosaic choices. Happy to pilot any of your products anytime. These guys are trying hard with their business and it shows, I'm pleased to support them. 👍

Faulty Hydria Fountain

I bought my Hydria fountain from The Range on lineas it wasn't available from Hydria. It was a birthday gift. I was able to ordere the mosaic and pebbles direct from Hydria though. The fountain did work. I went through all the whole troubleshooting process, it still didn't work. I contacted The Range and asked for a refund, i didn't get one. Instead Hydria wrote to me to say that the The Range had asked them to help me to troubleshoot to identify the problem and arrange for a replacement part. I wrote back to explain I had already troubleshooting, it wasn't working, I didn't want to take it to pieces and have replacement parts sent, it was brand new, not 6 months old! And as it isn't in wirking order I am wsnting a replacement. I wrote the same letter to The Range. So thats then twice I have asked The Range for a refund. Instead I wrote to say that they had adked Hydria to contact me to help me to troubleshoot and arrange for replacement parts. I asked them to read my 2 previous emails to them and to then contact me to confirm the refund would be processed. They haven't responded. I am very disappointed with The Range but this also reflects badly on Hydris. As stated, this was a birthday present. I accept that items arrive faulty sometimes but when the customer says I've tried troubleshooting snd its still not working so I am requesting a refund, it should be issued straight away. So Hydria can you please intervene and persuade The Range to issue my refund without further delay. I wont order from The Range again but if you can resolve this for me I might consider ordering from you. And upgrading you to 5 stars. I will update this review with any responses. Update todsy 19/7/25.. Just had an email from The Range. They have apologised for the delay(probably due to seeing my Trustpilot comments!) and said they will reach out to the retailer[Hydria) to see if they will isdue a refund and get back to me within 3 working days. I bought the item from The Range (they had my money) so correct me if I'm wrong, surely they should be the one to refund me and then take up their refund issue with Hrdria? I'm becoming more and more upset about this.
Update 21/7/25. As youvwill see from Hydria's response, they have instructed The Range to process my refund. Thank goodness for that! And thank you Hydria. However Hydria we still need to have a discussion about the accessories for the fountain that I bought directly from you, the mosaic and 2 packs of white pebbles.
Update 22/7/25 I didn't hear anything from Hydria yesterday about arranging the refund for the accessories(over £45 with p.p.) so I have just written to them again. I will update this review when I get the response.
Update 24/7/25. I did get a response later in the day on 22/7/25. They have agreed to refund the cost of the items (minus p.p.?) but they hsve asked me to "package them up nestly in a single parcel and confirm parcel weight and size". They will then send me a pre -paid label. I have explained that I am elderly and that would involve me going to and from the post office by bus 4 times and carrying the pebbles which are heavy and also the added expense of purchasing the appropriate mailing box (I've already spent £9.90 p.p. to have them delivered). I reminded them that they will have on record the weight and size of all of their items because they pack and weigh them when they post them out when sold. I have asked that under the circumstances and in the name of good customer service could they please look up this infirmation and then send me the appropriate box and label,( that would spare me 2 of the 4 bus trips) or arrange to have the items collected. So far they have not responded. I will keep you updated.
UPDATE 28/7/25... Further to my previous update on 24/7/25, it has now been 4 working days since my last email to Hydria on 22/7/25 and I am sorry to say they haven't responded, so I hsve just written to them again asking them to do so. I am disappointed, I thought Hydria were better than that. I hope they respond quickly, I would like to resolve this matter and would then be happy to upgrade them to 5 stars. I will of course continue to update this review
