Hypertherm Associates Avis 3

I worked at Hypertherm North America for 9 years. I was put on a discipline program for two reasons that broke no rules or policies. I successfully completed this program January 1st 2016. In February 2016. I reported sexual harassment. One of the Human resources representatives made comments to me about his genitals. He made this comment to me during my discipline program. I was scared I would be fired for reporting it during my discipline program. So I waited until the discipline program was over. I reported sexual harassment after I successfully completed my discipline program. Human resources did a investigation. I was fired June 21 2016. About 5 months after I reported sexual harassment. 6 months and 3 weeks after my discipline program was successfully completed. I worked at Hypertherm for 9 years. I never failed a drug test. I was late to work 1 time in 9 years. I have never been arrested. I was a model employee. As far as my discipline program , I was punished for things that human resources did not like in my personal life. They dragged my personal life into work and harassed me about it. You pay me a wage, I obey workplace rules and policies at work, during the work day. I don't have to obey workplace rules and policies in my personal life. Respect people's privacy and boundaries.

While my Hypertherm Powermax 45 works OK, trying to get Hypertherm customer support to respond is quite the challenge. Apparently, you can go on their website and send them a message, but they don't bother to respond. Waiting several weeks now. Have left two separate messages now with no response.

We've owned a Hypertherm Powdermax 45, Powdermax 85, Max 200 and XPR 300 Plasma cutters over the last few years.

We've had problems with our new XPR 300 Plasma cutter over the first year and a little bit. It's been a nightmare trying to get Hypertherm to acknowledge faults and make even a small gesture towards the costs it's caused us. I am happy they've made a small step here now which we have accepted.

That being said, there is great quality in the XPR.
It seems like they are getting on top of it all and we've not had any major issues in a while now.

If I'd bought an XPR now without those initial faults I'd probably have left a 5-star review. But the hassle we went through to just be banging our head on the wall for so long makes me worry about support if it's needed.
