Ibn Daud Books Avis

Prompt delivery, great service

Delivered in a timely manner - books were in crisp condition - will buy more In Sha Allah

Great deal and quick delivery. Books were also well packaged so zero damage when books were received. Would recommend.

Good services, good delivery.

Quick delivery! Amazing Quran

Really good books Ma’sha’Allah
Fast delivery

Items arrived fast. Absolutely love all the books I ordered I’m so happy to read such well thought out and knowledgeable text. May Allah bless the author

Was hoping to cancel my order and messaged within seconds of accidentally ordering. I thought even if they don’t cancel my order at least I could get a full refund. I was informed I would have to pay for the shipping price to send the item back and when they refund I wouldn’t get the shipping money back.

Perfect! Super fast shipping

I love the design of the book and the effort in details. It’s a perfect gift for a converted friend who wants to start learning and practicing the Quran.
Thank you!!

Great books

The service was all great, it was delivered on time, in one piece, and delivery time was not too long. The books are amazing quality and perfect pricing. The website is easy to browse through as well. Overall, it was amazing and i’d 100% recommend it to others as well. The books are amazing ways to increase your knowledge in islam, a good use of time.

Timely delivery, beautiful books in excellent condition. I am very happy with my purchase! Jazak Allah khair!

Shipping was faster than I thought and I’m in love with my book! Learning so much already!

This is the most beautiful Quran. Im very glad i ordered from here its perfect.

I'll preface this with the fact that I really didn't want to leave this review (it's taken 3 months to go through with it)

01/07 - order placed by me

05/07 - (wrong) order received by me

05/07 - I messaged Ibn Daud Books via website informing incorrect product was sent to me.

07/07 - I received an email requesting pictures of the incorrect item

07/07 - I sent pictures the same day

10/07 - I received email asking if I would like a refund for the difference

10/07 - I explained I want the hardback to complete my set, something I mentioned in my initial message on 05/07, so no, refund is not appropriate

12/07 - email from me saying I've been waiting over a week for a resolve. I asked for a hardcopy to be sent alongside a returns label. Also provided contact number to make communication easier and less protracted

13/07 - Ibn Daud Books asked me to return the incorrect item first, before they can send my correct order out. Almost as though it was my fault I received the wrong order and worst, inferring I wouldn't resend the incorrect order once I receive the hardback. This would also cause me to incur printing costs as I would have to print out the return label.

15/07 - order sent back by me

21/07 - I emailed after 6 days of non contact, despite Ibn Daud Books having received the book by this stage.

24/07 - email from Ibn Daud Books saying book was received and will get the team to send a copy out.

01/08 - after a whole week of non contact or receiving the book, I again email asking for a status. It has now been an exact month since I placed the order.

01/08 - email received that I should receive in the next 2-5 days

03/08 - item received

No mention was made of any goodwill, I don't think an apology was given nor an acknowledgement of their mistake and the duration is took to fulfill my correct order. At the end of the day, I would continue buying from them (so don't let this be a deterrent), but they must realise that it is not acceptable for the customer to chase them after non contact on multiple occasions.

The transliteration is beautiful unfortunately due to Brexit arrangements with Ireland some custom problems were made by an Irish side hence the late review as the product delivered after two weeks. Happy with my purchase. Thank you so much now we can recite the Quran in Arabic during the prayers. Highly recommended.
