In Excess Avis 

West End In-Excess has now closed and has supposed to have been relocated to Fair Oak, unfortunately you can't get the myriad of lovely bits and pieces or arts and crafts and and even a few nuts and bolts, so basically the useful shop is no longer available.

I went into my local In Excess in Fair Oak and bought a lovely garden furniture set. I was phoned on the delivery day, just a few days later. Both the girl at the check out desk was really helpful as was the delivery driver. I cannot fault ther service or the furniture. Thank you.

We have have bought from in excess many times and have always found it really good. If you phone West Parley, they will put a few bulky items at checkout 3 next to the rear carpark, ready for you to pay. If you want more items you can email and they will phone to let you know what is in stock, and put them ready for you. They always help us put bulky things in the car - I am disabled so this is really helpful!!
I once ordered an item which was faulty on arrival. I phoned them up and they were really helpful, I sent a photo of the damage, after which a gentleman brought the a replacement for the damaged part the next day!!! Excellent service!!!
Yes, you do have to wear a facecovering but this protects you as well as staff and other customers. I could be exempt because of respiratory difficulties but I wear a mask because covid would cause me difficulties for much longer- if I survived!!!

Shopping in Parley. Very rude employee- agressevily pushing people's trolleys away, rude conversation, breaking plants, "do you want my job? Yes please complain about me". Staff member Natalie. Not shopping here again. Very disappointed. No respect for customers nor plants.

Absolute tyrants they break the 2010 Equalities Act I encourage everyone to take these numskulls to court if they have been discriminated against for not wearing a mask, this country can do without companies like this.

Total discrimination these stores, wont let you in without masks,, face coverings,, never shop here,, especially if disabled.

Disgraceful discrimination against disabled. After 1 year in isolation felt an outdoor garden centre would be safe to buy some plants with a learning disabled man, I care for, but no you're banned if you can't wear a mask or put on a useless visor which the Government state offer no protection on their own, so this has nothing to do with protecting staff just picking on the most vulnerable in our society and excluding them from any return to a normal life. In-Excess should be ashamed and hopefully closed down for such disgraceful inability to open in accordance with English Law.

I went to my local INExcess in West End , Southampton today only to find they discriminate against people who are exempt from wearing a face mask. If my exemption is no good then neither is my money. Shame on you INExcess for having a discriminatory policy.

Much cheaper than Amazon for same product. Very well packaged.

One Star because I can't give it 0. THIS COMPANY IS AB ABSOLUTELY JOKE! Bought a pair of XtraTuf wellies had saw people commenting on their Facebook that it was fake but In-Excess team said that they guaranteed that the wellies were legit. Ok, got a pair and wow, the product was ridiculous, too small for UK5, to start with, the wellies were WET, they had glue on the sole, there was threads hanging out, the lining inside was peeling off and it goes on! I immediately filled the return form that came inside the boots, and in less than 30 Minutes after the delivery I was already in the post office returning their product. I have paid £5 for the delivery plus £15 for the return. Not at any moment they had any information on return of faulty goods, the only return information I had was the return form so ok, returned it, paid with my own money and message them asking for a full refund
The company emailed me back saying that their product had No FAULTS, that it wasn't wet, it was a oil that XtraTuf uses on their product (yeah, I'm a joke for them) and worst .. they said if I had messaged them before sending it back, they would provide a pre-paid return label, but because I haven't emailed them before, it was my own problem. Now, there's NOTHING on their website about contacting them before returning it. They are refusing to give me a full refund. They're extremely rude!

I went into the Christchurch branch today , picked up a metal fuse spur of the shelf. it was ticketed at £3.25, so i took it to the counter ans she tried to charge me £5, so we went back to the shelf , all were labelled up the same £3.25. in small print on the shelf was a label saying £5, she said well it will cost you £5 and thats tough , the law says they can remove them for 24 hours ans relabel them, so i went to city electric and it cost me £4.50 for the same item.
I have been into In-excess in poole most every week and probable spend £10 a time , after being treated like this , Never again , i was going to buy a load of there wood , so back to the timber yard , they deliver as well .

Great, found what I needed, delivered all OK, then my mail box is full of promotions, junk mail etc, no option to unsubscribe, contact them etc so from a great experience, they turned it into a negative one, dont trust them with your e mail address
