Well another bucket list item ticked and if you are going to do this, you want to make sure you do it correctly. From discussion with others on different tours there is always the worry you might not see a tiger, this is wildlife and you pay your money and take your chances. Whilst no company can absolutely guarantee you will see a tiger in its natural habitat you need to book with an experienced knowledgable company that will give you the best chance and Indus Experiences certainly did that. Amongst numerous other wildlife sightings including a wild elephant we saw 17 different tigers with strong photos on 14 of them. International flights including all internal flights, transport, guides, feeding and safari trips were all handled by Indus and you always felt safe and in good hands. Chosen accommodation was first class and in all locations the staff could not do enough for you. Thoroughly enjoyed my experience, the persons I met and would not hesitate to recommend Indus Experiences when booking your Indian Safari. I have thousands of photos and videos and heavens knows how long it is going to take me to sort through them but sooner that than empty cards.

The organisation was brilliant, the lodges we stated in near the tiger reserves were exceptional and were able to respond to individuals dietary requirements. The tour leader was very good and knowledgeable and on top of all this the wildlife was phenomenal.

Our trip to Pakistan was second to none! It was perfectly organized by Yasin (as always) keeping in mind our likes and dislikes. The hotels were carefully chosen, and our guide could not have been more attentive. From start to finish everything ran like clockwork. If you're considering a trip to Pakistan DO IT. The Hunza Valley has fabulous vistas and the Pakistani people are the most hospitable you'll ever meet.

The Team at Indus are so helpful, their knowledge is so valuable when putting together itineraries and listen to what clients want out of their holiday.

Having thoroughly enjoyed an Indus trip to India in Jan 2020, I had no hesitation in asking Yasin if he would help me organise a bespoke Hill Stations trip (Nainital, Mussoorie + Shimla) for a small group in May 2023, centred around the Mussoorie Bicentenary celebrations. His teams worked really hard to ensure we could all visit the places we wanted to see (which included churches, cemeteries, schools and even specific houses, as well as the more usual sites like beauty spots, heritage buildings and memorials). The Indus-organised drivers and guides at each location were knowledgeable and helpful, and our travel and accomodation arrangements worked out perfectly. Very many thanks for giving us such a memorable experience.

In April 2023 we left our Bardia, Nepal Hotel to continue on a Tour arranged by Indus Delhi Office to go to Jim Corbett Reserve and for 4 nights and then to Kashmir for 8 nights.
3 days prior to leaving for Jim Corbett, India, we were informed by Local Bardia Hoteliers were we reside for 2 months a year, that the Banbassa Border Crossing to India was closedin March 2020 and remains closed.
The3 hoteliers contacted Mr Sanjay Shah, Delhi Office to tell him of the situation and all of our concerns.
We were assured by Sanjay Shah that the Crossing was open.
We travelled to the Banbassa Border Crossing as per itinerary.
The Border Crossing was closed in March 2020 and after 2 hours with Immigration Officials we were left stranded at the Border Crossing.
We returned to the overnight Hotel to decide how we should get to Jim Corbett to continue the Tour.
No help was given to us by Sanjay Shah, Delhi.
We paid for a Taxi to the local airport.
We paid for the 2 Flight tickets.
We paid for the Overnight Hotel in Kathmandu.
We paid for Taxis to and from the airport.
We paid for 2 Flight tickets to Delhi.
A cost of £910. Paid by ourselves.
A late night domestic flight and early morning to Delhi was very stressful and extremely tiring.
Sanjay arranged for the car to take us to Jim Corbett Reserve.
A days Safaris and accommodation missed because of Sanjays negligence and incompetence in not ascertaining the Status of the Border Crossing....
After 3 nights at Jim Corbett we were booked on a local train to Delhi. A journey of 170 kms which took 6 hours.
The most awful day to endure for a 79 yrs old gentleman and his wife.
On arrival the following day in Kashmir after staying in an airport my husband was suffering from Acute Anxiety and Stress and vomiting.
Our accommodation was on a Houseboat on Dal Lake.
The Houseboat was noisy due to other quests,having Showers and Toilet Plumming problems and noise increased his need to have rest and quiet.
He was unable to do any of the Activities paid for.
He continued vomiting and we arranged to go to a quiet Hotel for a good night's sleep and rest

We then decided to cancel the rest of the Tour....
We booked 2 Flights to Delhi.
Paid by ourselves. £ 460
We stayed in the Imperial Hotel Delhi where we were helped by the excellent Concierge for my husband to be seen by the hotel Doctor.
The Doctor arranged for Tests at his Hospital as my husband was very weak by all the problems incurred in the last days since the start of the India and Kashmir Tour.
Taxi and Hospital Tests paid by ourselves.

We were helped by the Concierge to arrange for Flights to return to Heathrow.
We Booked Business flight to Heathrow.
Paid by ourselves.

I have emailed Yasin 3 times through our Travel Agent to Yasin, Indus, to ask for the cost of our Expenses.
I have explained in detail the health problems that have been incurred by my husband since the start of the Tour.
He has refused to acknowledge the Border Crossing is closed.
He is not acknowledging the serious health problems incurred by my husband.
The whole situation has been a nightmare.

I have worked with Indus Experiences for many years and always receive superb service. The team are always very professional when I speak to them and nothing is too much trouble for them.

Being a travel agent, over the past 15 months I have had to call through a number of times in order to sadly cancel down holidays for clients as well as rescheduling them for the future. Whether it be a cancellation resulting in a full refund or being able to change client reservations for a future trip, everything they do is never met with resistance. In fact it is quite the opposite as they go out of their way to ensure the client is at the heart of what they do.

We had booked a holiday to Bhutan due to leave late March 2020. We had had lots of help planning what was meant to be a life times trip and Indus Experiences spent a year planning this with me. Sadly covid happened and the trip had to be cancelled. However Indus Experiences were very prompt at reimbursing us at what was a very difficult financial time for us. Hopefully when things open up again we can travel with them again.

My wife and I went on the Kohima Battlefield Tour with Bob Cook and a small group in March 2016 and enjoyed every moment. Bob was an excellent tour leader, so friendly and knowledgeable, and everything about the tour was extremely professional and well organised. Bob even arranged a brief diversion to Dimapur railways station which is where my father spent time in WW2. If anyone is thinking about going on this tour then please don't hesitate - I promise you'll enjoy every minute.

After the tour itself Yasin had expertly arranged everything involved for us to visit various other parts of India that we particularly wanted to see. This involved several internal flights; really good hotels in every location; taxis to meet us at every airport for efficient transfers, and he even arranged a chauffeur-driven car for a week to drive us up to the former hill station at Ooty and later onto Fort Kochi in Kerala. The private boat trip around the backwaters was especially memorable, as was the amazing beach resort he had selected for us for the final few days of our trip.

This was undoubtedly our best holiday ever and we have no hesitation in recommending Indus Experiences for anyone who's dreaming of a perfect and memorable holiday.

I first used Indus Experiences in 2015 for a three week Family History Tour of India and had an absolutely wonderful and unforgettable trip.
