Indus Experiences Avis 

A well organised holiday in Southern India and a really exciting experience. The tour brought home just how varied Southern India is in terms of both scenery and atmosphere. We had a superb driver who was with us all the way and really helped make the holiday. All the hotels were good and some were superb. We were served some truly memorable meals (often at a very reasonable price), and the sights and sounds of Southern India will stay with us for a long time.

Our visit to Rajasthan and Kerala was superb. The accommodation throughout was excellent as were the transport arrangements. The tours arranged were fascinating and there was plenty of time to relax and just enjoy the scenery. We would thoroughly recommend Indus Travel (indeed we have already done so) and we look forward to our next trip to Sri Lanka.

What an amazing experience we have just had with Indus Experiences... Incredible India, so friendly colourful crazy and different.. we did cities in the North, Ranthambore and saw tigers and leopards, mountains and beaches in the South. Indus made it all so seamless, guides and drivers always on time, knowledgeable and kind. No problems what so ever, hotels were great, trains etc all taken care of, I really didn't need to think about anything, just enjoy ! Memories made ... Thank you so much Indus Experiences.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5th trip to India. Indus Travel took into account what we wanted and matched it with a terrific itinerary. We would recommend the cruise on the Lower Ganges, it was interesting and our fellow guests were great fun . We would certainly use Indus Travel again.

An excellent small group tour of the Oman Mountains and their geology. Excellently organised and guided with very good drivers and accommodation.

Hard to fault. Everything worked well. Hamid and the drivers were excellent.

What a wonderful time and holiday we all had visiting Bandhavgarh National Park, India in search of the majestic Bengal Tiger. The accommodation at Kings Lodge was just 'top class' and the lodge staff were exceptional making our visit a very pleasant stay indeed. All the staff from Indus Experiences that we met along the way to welcome us where very friendly and helpful. I will be definitely returning very soon.

An excellent tour but it would have benefitted by an extra day or even two. Some of the visits were rushed and some missed because of time pressures, also most people would like 2 nights in the same hotel rather than one - especially when travelling long distances between destinations. But on the whole, highly recommended.

Arrangements generally good.
Hotels varied as might be expected - good to excellent.
Travel in cars was too crowded. The drivers never used the a/c as too expensive, the passenger in the middle back seat could not see anything, and the seats were uncomfortable in such old vehicles.
The geological leader and the local leader were both excellent.

This was an excellent trip seeing many different areas of Ladakh and getting to grips with its fascinating geology.

Danny ,our leader was outstanding in all ways:unfailingly kind and helpful.Namgyal was also kind helpful and knowledgeable.
However the transport was awful.Five adults stuck in a car for hours travelling over tough unmetalled roads was extremely uncomfortable.The person trapped in the middle of the back seat got a particularly bad ride and could not see the view.Smaller passengers ended up in the middle seat an undue amount of time.As Geologists we needed to see the scenery .Also we could not access seat belts when in the back seat.

Unable to go to Kashmir so trip has to be a miss as it was well known that there were serious problems in Kashmir in the months leading up to the trip. Indeed FCO warned against travel. The trip should have been cancelled earlier in the year. The adhoc rearranged itinerary was well done but failed to show the geology that I expected. Also Ladakh massively militarised with army camps every few miles which diminished the experience. We'll done for making the best of a bad job and thanks to the excellent guides and Indus staff but it was a very expensive trip that didn't meet expectations.

The tour was excellent despite the difficulties arising from the political problems inKashmir. The rearrangements demanded a great deal of work by the. Office team but the tour kept its focus through the efforts of the team Leader, Danny Clark-Lowes. I look forward to future trips

We had a great time! Indus looked after us and made alternative reservations to avoid political unrest. It all worked seamlessly.

This is my forth time travelling with Indus Experiences! Nepal, Bhutan and twice to the magical lakes and mountains of Kashmir from which I have just returned from the tour - The Flora of Gardens, Lakes, National Parks, Meadows and Valleys. The itinarary far exceeded my expectations, and the drivers and guides were super knowledgable! Accommodation was wonderful and the food you were spoilt for choice. My fonest memories were of all the people we encounted along the way.

I was a group member on "The flora of gardens, lakes, national parks, meadows and valleys" Dehli to Shimla, Amritsar and Kashmir June/July 2019 trip. The information during the planning stage was very good from Indus due to the area we were visiting. The guides and drivers were exceptional. Accomodation, amazing and the itinerary spot on. I would like to revisit Kashmir and will of course contact Indus again for advice.
