Infrared Heating Ireland Avis 

Being summer we have not fully experienced the panels in operation, but from the transaction and installation aspect this exercise was possibly the smoothest and most professional we have had whilst upgrading the house. Eamon of Infraredheat.ie is knowledgeable and really communicative, he responded to any queries almost immediately. As the installer, Hugh was professional, helpful, very meticulous and really easy to work with. The ceiling mounted panels are unobtrusive, neat and modernising and sit well with the new downlighters, and the IRsun control panels on the wall are tidy and work beautifully.

These panels can provide a whole house heating system (excl hot water of course) but our own decision to go with IR panels was to use them to supplement the existing (fairly new) oil-fired system down to as minimal use of oil as possible. We have a solar/battery system which we also use to store cheap(er) night-rate power and hopefully this will mean we shouldn't need more than three months of oil-use at worst. Even that will heat water only and provide the primary heat which can then be topped up on an individual room basis with the IR panels. This is where possibly the system excels because the “instant heat” aspect and the scheduling ability of the app provides exacting control of individual rooms, reducing wasted heating. There is also no maintenance (unlike the possible heat pump alternative) and the saving on this over it’s 35+ year life-span buys quite a lot of heat instead. The efficiency of it is enhanced by the IR heat not having to heat the air in the room first, before it heats you and the fabric that then actually warms the room. As renewable power provides a greater portion of Ireland’s electricity in the future, maybe SEAI are missing a trick not grant-funding this form of heating.

We had 3 Sunlife infrared panel heaters installed on the ceiling in the living areas of 2 holiday rental properties in Cork, each controlled by an IR Sun control panel. Excellent product, great feedback from guests, and Eamon couldn’t do enough for us to fine tune the control of the system. Rapid, comfrtable heating.

I originally had 4 panels installed in the house a number of years ago by Eamon and team. That worked really well, so I have kitted ou the rest of the house and I'm delighted with how well the panels work, the look and the app that controls them. The team were very helpful and quotation, site inspection, install and support were all excellent. I haven't found them to be an expensive way to heat the home to date, but will add battery capacity to the house to run them off night rate and further reduce costs of running. It's a great solution, especially for small households, for those who dislike waste or those who work from home.

We got our full house installed with infrared panels from Eamon and his team and we are very impressed. Eamon himself came to do a full site inspection to ensure the panels were suitable for our home before we progressed with installation. The installation itself was very easy with Robbie doing a fantastic job. The heat from the panels is great and we would recommend them as heating option for a home. Our new heating system was installed today. Having known this system for years, we didn't hesitate for a moment to replace our old radiators with these new, more modern ones. Eamon and his entire team have helped us from the very beginning, their follow-up has been outstanding, and the installers were very professional.

Eamon was really helpful with advice and recommendations and also completed site inspection which really helped us choose the right specification for our home. I recently had infrared heating panels installed and honestly the panels themselves are brilliant, they heat the room really well and the running costs are surprisingly low, super efficient and I’m really happy with how they perform.

The only downside was the installation, the electrician left a hole in the ceiling, ti was very frustrating, I first contacted Don about it but didn’t get a proper response, so I contacted Eamon and he sorted everything quickly, his support was outstanding and he made sure the repair was done asap.

So overall, great product, very efficient, but the installation side could have been better, big thanks to Eamon for the excellent customer service.

We had four Infrared ceiling panels installed with the controls last week. The panels are very unobtrusive. The installation took a day and was managed really well. The team at Infrared Heating Ireland have been informative and very helpful throughout. As we have solar panels the panels are a perfect fit for us. The initial reason drawn to this system was that infrared heating seemed healthier option for anyone with Asthma. Also the 15 year guarantee for the panels and that if one panel breaks you can replace that panel and not the whole system. The regulator in each room lets us schedule and manage the heating (we have nt downloaded app yet). We can see very clearly the consumption use. What is surprising is how little power the panels use to maintain the temp that is set. Eamonn explained this to us before we had them installed but now seeing this in action, we can see how dynamic the system is. We plan to get more panels for other rooms in the house in the future. Very pleased with this company and product.

We had an infrared panel installed in our entrance hall about 6 weeks ago. We were a bit sceptical at first, having read mixed reviews about infrared panels, but it turned out there's no need.
The whole process from the initial conversations with Eamon and later with the installation from Don and his team, was perfect. Very clean and neat installation.
As for the panel, the heat is surprisingly pleasant and my kids often spend time underneath as they like it that much. Our entrance hall is tiled and we noticed that tiles and jackets now dry much quicker.

We'll be getting a 2nd panel before Christmas.

I have 2 ceiling mounted panels which are really unobtrusive, quite apart from taking up absolutely no space at all, perfect for my small living room. The app is also excellent, love being able to adjust the heat from the sofa 😁

Done a bit of online searching
about this type of heating so i Contacted Eamon and Don about getting Infared panels installed in my home. I called to their office to see them in operation and was hooked straight away. Put in the order within a few weeks of them working around my schedule they were fitted. I also have solar panels so they work a treat with this. A fantastic addition to any home new or old. Dealing with these guys are a pleasure and would highly recommend. And the panels do exactly what it says on the box and all user friendly connected to my smart phone as well. Got these fitted in January and wanted to wait and see how they preformed before leaving a honest review. 100% infrared Heating Ireland are the guys to be dealing with. Cheers lads.

These panels are fantastic I live in an old stone cottage so this was a perfect heat source. The guys on the phone were always happy to answer my questions and the guys that installed them were fantastic. Left no mess and went through all the controls with me before they left.
